I had an appointment 12/11 in the am. Did't sleep very much the night before., anxiety. I was early and that is not my norm. Service was great. Mr. Keen made the process easy and understandable too me.

I have to say first and foremost I'm a real person making a review from my personal experience with this bank. Simply put my money/investments have been safe, issues I've had have been solved in a swift/professional manner. I've never ever had an issue with customer service, especially compared to my other banks.

Soooo...once you get past their strictly regimented "go this line-STOP! Stay where you are" (hey,I worked an 11 hour overnight shift-wadda ya want?) this is a friendly helpful group of ladies. While I waited for them to open, every lady walked by said cheerful good morning (except one). Even after concluding my business, the woman behind the counter asked if there was more she could help with. Just wish they had more branches closer to me. Love my Navy Federal.

Horrible service. Felt rushed by Sarah, she needs customer service training. Bad experience overall. Very disappointed. Did not give us time to discuss the deal.

RUN AWAY! MORTGAGE HORROR! Anywhere but here. There's no shortage of other local lenders who will take care of you. Ignore NFCU's fancy products & nice people. The people are indeed super nice, but you need organizational competence out of a financial institution, not just a friendly face. The NFCU cookie cutter corporate machine might just work out ok for just enough people that you'll know someone who had an ok time with them, but be warned... they will chew you up: heartlessly. ONLINE EVERYTHING. We expect it now & it's great to find a biz that will accommodate you online, but NFCU's systems are clunky & NOT ready for prime time. You'll spend hours clicking through pages with archaic browser requirements, wonky user interface /UX, & complete lack of controls like basic annotation & flagging a document for review. One misstep & their big d*** machine will spit out obnoxious emails. Their automated systems send messages with instructions & statements that simply aren't true, but will have you chasing answers. DOCUMENT UPLOAD. This is an unresponsive, poorly design system to save their processors work, but it's like living under the rule of an unjust machine. Their people won't even look at what you upload, then they'll waste your time pulling information that you've already provided in writing: with an upload receipt! FINE PRINT. In the age of TLDR. This is where you'll get hosed. Get a second opinion / legal review from someone else if you decide to dance w the devil here. They'll hang on technicalities therein WHEN they make mistakes & you call them on it. They will make mistakes. They totally suck at financial services assembly line design & you'll be the one to pay the price. It's just so frustrating. I've bought a handful of houses before & never been so poorly treated.

I have been banking with NFCU since 1985 and have never had a problem. I have taken out home loans on 7 different properties and will use them for my new home in Jun 2019.

I have been with NFCU for over 15 years and never been disappointed. They are like family and always willing to answer questions and find answers for you, if they don't know what the answer to your question. The thing I enjoy is they build trust. Once a NFCU member, always a member. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
