The people who work here are AMAZING. but so sad the building owners make them work in all that TOXIC BLACK MOLD COVERING THE CEILING RIGHT UP BY THR REGISTERS. Heard they don't wanna pay to fix it. This is detrimental for health. As someone who is very allergic to black mold...I'm very sad for them. In several, it can trigger life- Long auto immune issues

My toddler was wearing a mask she found in the toy area, but I told her she couldn't have it, so when I took it off this "new" manager tells me she needs it so it can be put in with defectives, and that was it. Also, came across rude. So, I turned around and told her maybe she should throw all of the toys away since that's what kids do. She lies to my face, talks over me, and says it's because there's no tag. Lol it's DT, ITS A DOLLAR! She continues to talk unprofessionally over me, saying she never said what I think she meant, NOPE, but she was never clear, so we made a scene. The problem is, her attitude towards customers, not kindly telling me, "I'm sorry, the mask needs to be sanitized, so if you could..." or maybe not telling me at all. I dont have a snotty kid, and my 3 year old is always good and not rambunctious even a little bit. So, I asked her for her name, and she refused to tell me and turned her name tag around. I'll find it out and be reporting her to corporate. She's CLEARLY NOT qualified for the job of any management position.

I had to change my 5 star rating based on recent changes at this location. Not only do you have to check yourself out, but you have to pay in cash. I never carry cash so I won't be shopping there anymore. And based on my husband's and my observations I'm not the only one. You don't see hardly anyone go into the store and the parking lot by the store is empty. Why go there when just a few store fronts down is Piggly Wiggly with prices comparative, if not better? Plus they have cashiers AND they take cards (debit, credit, EBT, etc.).

I'd give zero stars if allowed. Store and shelves are extremely messy. Boxes and carts scattered everywhere in each aisle. Very hard to walk through the store without tripping over it all. Better luck going to a different store altogether. Not coming back here again

I'm happy this store is here. Despite its not always stocked or organized, I'm grateful that we have a store here. Not many stores stay open on Mary Esther but its close to home and super easy to get in, get out without any hassle.

This Dollar General isthe worst ever! Truck comes in and the boxes syay on the carts in the aisle for weeks. Shelves empty. NEVER again will I come here waiste of my time!!!!!!!

WARNING DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THERE!!! Not working and I am trying to get my money back sounds like she saying I can't ! are u kidding me!!?? I paid $200.00 in gift cards that don't wk and mangers got attitude about it. This my hard earn money I want EVER get a card from there again. Dollar general on mary Esther cut off. The gift card is Spendwell. ?♀️ ?♂️ i didn't wanna give 1 starunnn!!

Stated Manager on duty refused to accept my driver's license because I would not allow him to touch it. With COVID and other illnesses running rampant, not accepting a legal form of identification is unacceptable. MOD used profanity and threatened me.
