We placed our mails on hold to be collected at a later date, we visited the office to ask what's the procedure for pick up,we were met with the worst customer service representative her behavior is absolutely atrocious!!!!!!! She gave us incorrect information then tried to argue. We were told to come back another day and they would have our mails ready oh lord the same attitude. A request was made to speak with a supervisor we now see where these behavior, horrible customer service were learnt!!!! The supervisor was just as horrible as the representative.

I never saw a poor costumers service like that!
Suterday morning , more than 20 costumer are waiting in line. Only one USPS representative is taking care of the costumers. Waiting in line for an hour. No place to sit. Elderly people who can barely stand are waiting in line. That’s how USPS being disrespectful to costumers.

I dread having to go there. They used to at least have a mail box "drive past" so you could drop in a letter without getting out of the car, but that was found to be too convenient, so it was removed. The letter-carrier to my house, though, is a very nice person.

Who ever is the manager at this post office.. should be on the look out.. my out going mail , that i dropped off at this PO has never reached its destination.. both times on a Saturday, they were payments… my checks were never delivered to my address.. they were mailed out by the bank on 2/24.. This cost me cancellation fees! I haven’t had any problems in any other PO! This thievery should not be happening.. Seniors are struggling enough, to have this happening to them! It’s shameful for I was a letter carrier for 20 yrs, and this puts all others to shame!

Unfortunately I had to give a star to leave a review. I wouldn’t bother but the service was extra incompetent —I had to. I had a package delivered to this USPS by UPS. Yes, UPS delivered it to this POST office. It’s not unheard of. It was signed for by “Rosa” but I went to pick it up and the incompetent employee very d.u.m.b.l.y said “this isn’t UPS. lol? glad she knows where she works. I wasn’t there for UPS, rather to pickup a package delivered by them. After calling and confirming with UPS that it was in fact delivered to 5094 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Margate FL and indeed signed by Rosa—I went back but yet was told they don’t know a Rosa??? So I opened a case only to be called by someone even way more incompetent saying the obvious I had already said—it wasn’t delivered by USPS. Umm duh? & to call UPS? Umm, I did. Then she said it again (I really don’t know how they can get jobs there??♀️) must lie on their resumes or something… I asked if a Rosa worked there and she said she couldn’t verify that!???? What??? lol so why even call? If you’re not even going to try to help with figuring out who Rosa is and how she was able to sign for a package at your post office???

When i went to this postal office on 4/20/2024 at 10:56 am i was rudely greeted by clerk: 51. When i did not understand how she was explaining the different shipping rates i asked can i use the other clerk. She responds " she is going to give you the same price as me", as if i wanted to haggle prices. She tried to embarrass me as if i couldn't afford the rate. I quickly took out my credit card and paid the rate to save face and get out of there. She did not even offer me the signature on package receipt option

USPS delivered to my old address. I had updated my new address months ago. Mail forwarding did not help and I signed up for it for a year. Very expensive package

I don’t know what’s going on at Margate post office but all of my packages are either delivered and an empty field or being stolen. I have literally over 10 packages that was not delivered to me and I have literally over 10 packages that was not delivered to me and I had to get refunds for all of them so if you have packages that you need to get delivered, get a PO Box just make sure you get what you have ordered. This is ridiculous. I can understand one or two mistakes but 10 mistakes. Is either the Margate postal office have thieves working there or they have someone who’s incompetent.

I’ve lived ALL OVER OUR GREAT COUNTRY the past 74 years in 24 different states including different counties in those states. I’ve lived in Coconut Creek for less-than 6 months and SWEAR this Margate branch is the WORST OF THE WORST in the entire U.S!!! As I’ve dealt with them 6 times now and it simply GOES FROM BAD TO WORSE!!! The Indian guy who is a supervisor there doesn’t UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND YOU CAN’T HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIS ENGLISH!!!

If I could give this post office 0 I would..The staff that works here works as if they do not want to be at work ..Everytime I go here there is always a line going through the door and it moves slower than a snail...they need new management here ..it's not fair to the public just because this is government runned it should still not be this slow ..they are very slow ..I give them no stars ..they are also a very unprofessional set of peole there .also you need to train them in Customer Service skills they have absolutely none . But I guess this review won't matter because I see they have a 1.8 and their service is still terrible.
