**Worst Experience Ever! Avoid This Place!**
I can't even begin to express how terrible our experience at AMF Margate was. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with disdain and a complete lack of professionalism. When we first walked in, the rude guy at the front desk told me all the lanes were occupied. Fine, no problem. I put my name on the waiting list and we started waiting.
After 30 minutes, I asked again and was told to keep waiting. I could see open lanes, but he kept telling me they weren't available and that he'd call me when one was. I went back three more times, and after two hours of waiting, I had enough. I saw some people leave a lane and asked if we could use it, but he told me again it wasn’t available.
I finally snapped and demanded an explanation. Only then, after two hours of waiting with a one-year-old child and my family, did he bother to tell me that there was a tournament happening and we wouldn’t be able to play until it was over. WHY didn’t he tell us that when we first arrived?! This was an outrageous lack of respect.
We were just looking to have a good time and ended up having a miserable, stressful night. On top of this awful experience, the place itself is old, rundown, and clearly not well-maintained, with staff that couldn’t care less about their customers. I’m writing this review in complete frustration and disbelief at how that guy was able to treat a family with a baby like that. Absolutely zero stars.

Relaxed place, with food and drink options, has an arcade room and a store for bowling lovers. The tracks are very good and the track equipment is great.

Horrible place. Went at 7pm since it was unlimited bowling. However all the lanes were being used by the bowling league. No family night here. Went to Bowlero on Southgate and University. Much nicer there and they had available lanes for my 3 kiddos.

Reserved a lane for my kids on a Sunday afternoon, they had a blast!! Clean and spacious, the regular bowlers are nice too.

Came in on a Sunday and none of the lanes are oiled ain't blaming the workers but I mean what the point in opening for the day if your not even gonna do the basics

Friendly staff, a few ball return issues in the pit aside on lane 28, the lanes and other equipment were in good condition, and center was impeccably clean (having working in a bowling center myself in the past, I know that’s no easy feat!).
Rates were quite reasonable for a weekend evening for two people!
Didn’t visit concession stand (ate before coming) and arcade (it was getting late when we finished) but will definitely check those areas out next time I visit!
Pro Shop on site but it looks like they are running by appointment only or irregular hours, so they were closed at the time of my visit, otherwise I might have had them work on one of my personal bowling balls.
All in all, I would happily return to bowl here again next time I’m in FL!

Understaffed and disgusting. The poor attendant at the food counter was swamped with taking orders while his partner was in the back. I tried 2x to buy a drink at the deserted bar before the kid taking orders was able to assist. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING! Clearly no one had attended them for hours if not all day. Management of this place should be ashamed. Definitely won’t be returning.

I bowl on a league here. Gary, Jeremy, and all the rest of the staff are awesome, very helpful. Come down eat drink and bowl and enjoy life. ??
