Chris and Pete at Shelter Bay were amazing. Incredible customer service, on-time, fast, professional and an authorized Mercury repair center to boot. Like most boaters, I lost a motor at a criticle time when I needed the boat the most. It was a mini-season and I had guests arriving in town. I walked into Shelter Bay and they had a team at my dock the next day. The motor was fixed and I couldn't be happier. Great place and I won't go anywhere else from this point forward.

Thieves. We brought our boat in for service as the engine was sputtering during idle and going off. We were told that the boat was ready for pickup as the "engine now idles fine". Trusting their word and the work they said they did and charged us for corrected the problem, we took the boat for a ride and barely made it back to the dock. They never fixed the problem as we then had two different marine mechanics immediately look at the motor (one was on vacation and at the dock when we eventually returned extremely upset and one recommended by the dock master where we were staying) and within minutes they both knew that the carburetor was the issue. We had the local guy evaluate and fix the engine. During his evaluation he let us know that there was no work done on the carburetor as we were charged by Shelter Bay Marine and the normal course would have been to change out the large gas filter and clean the small filter checking for water in gas and calibrate the carburetor. None of the basic things were done making us believe they either tried to scam us because we are elderly and were on vacation or they just didn't know what they were doing. Either way it is bad. Very bad. We could have been in a very bad situation out on the water with an engine we thought had been repaired but was not. Our boat motor has now been repaired properly by another local mechanic and works like a charm. Submitted by Marine disabled veteran.

Me and my girlfriend were in a boating accident on Memorial Day and the boat was taking on water. They were closed but we got ahold of them and they told us to get there asap and would pull us out of the water. Every other marina said no. These are good people who you want to do business with and can trust

I'm in town from out of state and needed to replace my prop immediately. Shelter Bay found me a prop and had my boat back to me in a few hours. I would highly recommend them. They saved our trip.

In all my years of boating I have never had an experience like I just did with Shelter Bay Marina. They are professional, accommodating and knowledgeable. But most of all they are just plain nice!!!!!

Regarding Cory Williams post. It is entirely my fault for this occurrence. I was undecided regarding asking price and handled this matter incorrectly. I apologize to both Cory and Shelter bay. I purchased the boat new from Shelter Bay and never had any issues with them. I hold them in high regard.

I had an issue with a Mercury Verado. The owner called me after hours to try to help me diagnose and solve my issues. I picked up parts the next day. Great Customer Service
