Our server was Nara. Ten of us had dinner, and they accommodated us very well. I would encourage reservations. I had the scallop risotto, the conch chowder and the crème brûlée. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Good service and a great night to eat on the patio. The snapper and mahi were both good and our server was very nice.

We ate on the outdoor patio which was really nice. The servers were kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good (especially for the price - kids meal $17 and most adult meals $40+). The fish was pretty solid but the other things (pasta, Caesar salad, Caprese salad, side vegetables, mashed potatoes) were pretty meh and not at all worth the price of an expensive restaurant.

Had dinner here two nights. The night we arrived because we were tired and just wanted to eat and our last night at this resort. Neither time was remarkable. Food was “fine”, service was mid, and for $300 for 3 people, it didn’t hit. I waited to review until we had another $300 meal in the keys just to make sure I didn’t have faulty expectations based on location, nope, this place didn’t live up to the ratings or the price.

This is second year in a row we have had a special dinner at the Butterfly Cafe. Food is amazing . Service is awesome. I had the scallops risotto. Yum! Really cool place for dinner. Like stepping back into a Hemingway house. Must stop on your Florida keys visit. Our waitress Jasmine waited on on both years we have gone. She is awesome.

They know exactly what to do with a piece of good fish, which we are finding is rare at the restaurants here! Typically other places over-sauce and over-cook. We had the Mahi and yellowtail here. Perfect. Going back tonight!

Jasmine was an amazing waitress. Grouper and Red Snapper were delicious as well as the sauces. We sat outside on the big southern wraparound porch in comfy wicker chairs. Perfect Island experience. There is a Tiki bar with a band down by the beach for after dinner but it ends at 8 pm

Disappointing food preparation served at room temperature. The space is lovely, that’s about all I can say.

The restaurant is very nice and the service was good. Our cocktails we spot on. I had a scallop risotto that was delicious but my husbands meal was a cowboy steak. The server came to us about 15 minutes after we ordered and said they had no fries would he like to substitute them for another side. He chose asparagus. When his meal arrived it was a Cowboy steak which was to be charbroiled Medium, and a side of Fries(not asparagus). The steak must have been kept warm in an oven. It came out well done and tasting like a pot roast. We didn't send it back because we had waited so long to eat. Not sure if we'll be back again.

The server was very nice and friendly. The food took too long to come out and when it finally came out, there were items that were lukewarm. The scallop risotto was just ok. The blackened grouper was quite good and the filet was also good.

Our family of 4 ate at the Butterfly Cafe last night. The atmosphere was wonderful, as was our blackened grouper entrees, scallops & pasta and our desserts (key lime pie and TDF cake). Hats off to our charming and attentive server Nara for her amazing service and excellent recommendations (at the restaurant and off-site).

Beautiful surroundings, gracious service by all. Never rushed, treated with great respect. Best waiter we have EVER had. He was perfection and such a joy. We would come back just because of this waiter!!!

Lovely restaurant with delicious food and wonderful wait staff! Jasmine was our server and very sweet and kind. Conch chowder was delicious, blackened grouper cooked perfectly! The sauce on the seafood bake was amazing, one of the best sauces Ive tasted! Overall it was a wonderful date night for my husband and I. I wish we hadn't been so full or we would've tasted dessert! Thank you for a lovely evening.
