264 S Ocean Blvd, ManalapanFull disclosure, John Gs has been around A LONG TIME. It was originally located on Lake Worth Beach on the corner of the "casino building / shops". It was in the same spot for about 35 years? Before it moved to its current location in Manalapan in the Plaza del Mar shops. In the same shopping center as the ICE Cream Club and the Publix. When it was sold a few years ago, the new owners were smart and did not mess with proven success and a very loyal customer base. It shows.
People still come in droves , and there is still usually a line out the door. That's ok, It is worth the wait. Breakfast is served until 11:15 on weekdays and they "cut the line"and then start serving lunch. ( They do have a very limited brunch menu of 4 or 5 things?) Breakfast choices are all great. They have a Really good stuffed crassant button and bows or varriations of omlets and french toast . The lunch menu has a great sea food platter with clams, scallops ,fries and fish that is served with coleslaw.
Such a great restraunt! The service is impeccable, and the wait staff is very attentive and check on you often. You hardly put your glass down before it is refilled. If I had to pick something I wish they would do again, or bring back,it would be where are the John G t shirts , and strangely the iconic pelican napkins? It's a trademark. They have the pelican statue outside and the painting on the wall ,but no pelican napkins or shirts? Rumor has it that the owner is looking for someone to do them I hope so, I miss them and.. We need new shirts ! lol
Parking: lots of room and you can easily drop people off and then find a spot. FYI they will not seat your party until everyone is there in line.
Kid-friendliness: pretty good, but I might bring a coloring book. but you should be just fine. mom's always carry something in there magic purses anyway.
Wheelchair accessibility: the doors are big enough to get thru as well as the bathroom. There is also some outside seating as well.

Breeze Ocean Kitchen
100 S Ocean Blvd, ManalapanI had the best experience here ever. I had hayley and ming as servers and they absolutely killed it. The manager Luke introduced himself to me and made me feel welcomed and really the experience to a whole new level. People like Luke, hayley and ming make this hotel stand out from all competition, with staff like them there is no competition they are on top

201 S Ocean Blvd, ManalapanSushi good but not great. Good cocktails, and good service. Thaikyo will be getting a lot more business now that sushi bon around the corner went out of business

Art Basil Restaurant
218 S Ocean Blvd, Manalapan30 minutes prior to my visit I had a train wreck of grilled octopus salad across the street at Dune Deck! friend recommended Art Basil and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the atmosphere, decor, food and pricing. Adam was a great server and had a great conversation with the lovely Hedy. Will definitely return
