We worked with Brad Seibert from January-May of this year (2022) during our search for a new home. We provided Brad with all of our documentation (tax returns, 1099’s self employment income, bank statements, etc). We were pre-approved for a conventional loan with Brad. We spoke regularly with him over the phone to check current interest rates and provided him with updated bank statements every couple weeks as we continued our search for a home in a difficult market for buyers. After placing several offers with no success, one of our offers was finally accepted on a beautiful home that we loved. It was at that point that Brad told us he didn’t realize that my husband was self employed and believed him to be W-2 employee. (This is after we had provided Brad with 3 years of tax returns, our 1099’s, and countless documentation clearly indicating my husband was not a W-2 employee, but an independent contractor who has served as a Retirement Advisor with the Orange County Public School District for 8 years). Words cannot express our disappointment when Brad told us he could not qualify us for the home on which our offer had just been accepted! We were baffled that this could happen with a lender whom we communicated so regularly with and worked so closely with during our home buying journey.Clearly, Brad failed to review our documentation over the course of 5 months while working with us and we lost the home as a result.Thankfully, we found lender Heather Lee Howard-Homburger at NASB (North American Savings Bank) who handled the transaction on our new home like a pro this past June! She went above and beyond and was extremely thorough and organized. She even managed to help us close in just a couple weeks!Choose your lender wisely?~Candace Larsen

I do not recommend at all, they used to be great. My sister used them years ago but if you don't have A LOT of money and amazing credit then do not use them. I was losing my home due to my landlord selling the property so I needed to find something fast. I went through so much with Brad. It was one thing after another. I needed down payment assistance but he didn't have to much information on that and I had to figure that part out on my own. So I dropped them and went through Vincent Ortiz at Land Home Financial. Such an incredible experience. I hardly had to lift a finger, he even did my down payment assistance for me. He was so incredible, I was prepared for it to be hard due to everything I went through with Brad but it was not at all and we closed in 30 days. There were some bumps but he went above and beyond and took care of it himself instead of leaving anything up to me. Shop around and just know it doesn't have to be so hard, find the right people and buying a home will go smoothly.

If you are looking for direct lenders in Maitland, I highly recommend we are not the banks, they maintain complete transparency, and are amazingly patient with newbies who have a very faint knowledge about loans.

Brad helped us power through this transition from house to house in the middle of this Covid pandemic. It could have easily killed the deal. Brad ans his team not only got the deal, I got a great rate. He spent the time needed to help us. Personal touch was hugely appreciated.

They clearing showed a rate on bank rate .com without points at 2.625 then after giving them all my information and my 800 plus credit score they offer me a rate over a full point higher , bait and switch no thank you

After reading all the reviews about peoples positive experience with Brad I felt good about contacting him. I spoke to Shawn and set an appointment to speak to Brad, which had to be set for 3 days later because he was so busy. This should have been my first clue. Brad did not call at the appointed time but 50 minutes later, at which time I could not answer. We finally spoke that evening. I immediately sent the documents he requested. I have never heard back from him, nor has he replied to my follow up email. If he is too busy he should have said so up front instead of wasting my time.

My wife and I have worked with Brad and his crew on our original mortgage and now our refinance. They also get a great rate and they always do what they say they will with no surprises. Eventhough they are very busy with the recent boom in the refinancing industry, they always get back to you quickly and always have the answers you need. I highly recommend them.
