Everyone at this branch has always been so helpful and friendly! I have been with 5/3 bank for more than 10 years and have always been very happy with their services. Highly recommend!

I used to go to this branch, recently, I switched to a different branch. The staff there is not great either but at least they are not rude. If it didn't require too much paperwork, I would change my bank. The hold time is at least 30 mins no matter what day/time of the week it is. They charge high fees for products that they can't even properly provide.

I don't agree with the neg reviews either. I've been at this particular location over 10 years and the staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable of my needs and the services they provide. They have actually called me a couple time to give me a heads-up on a situation with my account. I've been an account holder at other banks in the area and have always had better customer service from this 53 location... something that brick and mortars have a hard time doing these days.

I don't agree with the poor reviews.. I have been with this institution and visit this location for 3 or more years now. They go above and beyond to assist me as quickly as possible.. even follow up with personal calls and opportunity to provide online feedback. Keep up the good work 53!

The Maitland branch started off great, but after trying to get a check stopped they did not return my calls, emails or notes, and I am a "preferred member". I am sorry I moved my account here.

From what I've seen, most of these reviews were from at least a year ago. I recently visited, and discovered that there is a new team, so I'll share my experience.First, the new team here started around a month ago, and from what I could tell, are FAR better than the prior one. I barely had any wait, especially since it was empty. The staff was so friendly and helpful that they convinced me to open an account in addition to simply cashing my payroll check with them.This location definitely improved from the past reviews, so give it another chance if you happen to need a local bank here.

If I could give this a negative 5 star review I would.After almost one complete year of my account being closed. They then send me an email stating my account information is being changed. I haven’t logged in so that isn’t really possible upon calling I got greated by TWO of the WORST customer service reps I have had the displeasure of communicating with. They couldn’t even let me finish a sentence to gain full understanding of the issue at hand.Did not get the issue resolved highly disappointed and disgusted by this.

This branch has had extremely unprofessional staffing recently. I have been relying on the services of this bank for several years and never had an issue. I called to have charges from my account disputed and was left on hold for over 15 minutes. I spoke with the manager in a polite manner and he hung up the phone on me for asking about the long hold time!!! He seemed very defensive about the situation. I had faith that Fifth Third strived to treat their customers with the kindness and respect they deserve. I would hope 5/3 looks into having a more friendly management team at this location and until then I will have to go elsewhere.

I went in today open an account with 5/3. I had taken time off of work to come in to open the account. When I arrived I was greeted by two tellers. The tellers informed me that I would have to wait for a personal banker. She had just taken a customer and should be just a few minutes. Over 25 minutes later I was still waiting. One of the tellers came up and asked if I would like to schedule an appointment to open the account. This was 3:30 pm on a Friday and they only had ONE personal banker!!! Wasted my time; I will be going to another bank to open account. Needs to be better staffed.

Fifth Third in general is a terrible bank. It's not just this location, but this is the one I use the most often so it's getting the bad review. The staff seem confused by basic banking questions and are unhelpful the majority of the time. Unfair fees, unreasonable requirements, a lack of accountability. The staff are friendly enough but completely unhelpful. The customer service phone number is ever worse. The people who answer the phones have little knowledge of the services of the bank and also seem grudging to help with account issues. The phone staff are condescending as well. I switched to thid bank since it was close to my home but I am switching again. The convenience of location is not worth how difficult it is to use this bank.

Sue Taylor is the absolute best. Very friendly and helpful. She even calls just to check up on us. What bank does that? This bank, Fifth Third Bank.
