The location is just perfect. Being inside the hotel is very convenient. The person in charge of the location was patient and always willing to assist answering all my questions. The handling of the documents such as my passport, foreign driver's license and credit card was nice. The cars offered are in good condition, like brand new.

I had a negative experience with the car rental service. Despite having a valid international driving license ,valid passport that entered US & residency ID, I was informed about an issue with my passport, and it labeled red which turned out to be inaccurate. The handling of the situation by Rudy was unprofessional and rude and was lying about that and refused to give me the car . Such incidents impact the customer experience negatively."

***EDITORIAL CORRECTION****Yesterday, when I went to Avis @ the Sheraton to get my reserved car; Chris ( undoubtedly was having a rough day not due to his error, just stuff happens! you know I wanted to say another word). Well I learned that I get Rudy and Chris confused so I'll have to say they both are awesome I just don't know which one is which!!? live and learn. THEY BOTH ARE GREATPS: loved driving the Challenger?(can I keep it?)?Rudy is awesome ?And I loved the Kia Sportage I would just get more bells and whistles if it was my personal car.See you soon!

The best neighborhood AVIS! Prior to discovering this one, we had tried many other rental agencies. My team and I have been blessed to rent from this location many times over the past 7 years and we always get top notch service from Rudy and his colleagues. Good and consistent service is hard to find these days, so don't hesitate and rent your vehicle here!

I have been a customer for over 10 years. I rent often for work and I have used National, Enterprise and Alamo as well. I am a former employee of Avis/Budget so, I know that the availability of cars is a dynamic situation that is constantly changing. The airport locations are a major hub for the smaller satellite locations therefore we were always short of vehicles.To the point, my last 5 or possibly six rentals have began with me NOT receiving the car that i had reserved. Sometimes, this is only a minor inconvenience that can be overcome with creativity. Obviously, as an former employee, I understand the logistical challenge at play. But, it is the service at the counter which mitigates these shortcomings. My experience today was so jarring that I felt compelled to document my experience because "service" is what dictates where a customer will spend their money.The rental vehicle that I needed today was a full-size pickup truck. Understanding and anticipating that challenge, I stopped by Avis on Lee rd where my initial reservation was reserved. The gentleman in there was courteous and helpful and explained that there were no trucks currently on the lot. He also explained that one was due back and that he would contact me if it arrived.I then called Avis customer service and explained my need for a full-size pickup. I was transferred to a Supervisor because the prices in the local market were around $900 for a 2 day rental. I was transferred and the supervisor promised that the Maitland location inside the Sheridan hotel had a pick-up truck. So, as I am driving to the location, I recieve a call from "Chris". Chris begins the call by telling me that I needed to give him 24 hrs before reserving a truck in a curt manner. I informed him that I didn't make a reservation at "his" location but that It was transferred by management at Avis. His response verbatim was "I don't care, it's 24hrs notice for a pick up truck." I informed him that regardless of If i booked the rental there or at another facility that I was still an Avis customer. I asked what his title was and he refused to answer, I requested to speak to a Manager and then he hung up the phone in my face.As a long time Avis customer, I have a problem with the way that Chris handled that situation today. Firstly, when booking a vehicle and you pay extra money for a certain type of vehicle, one should expect that vehicle to be on-site. The technology is available to ensure what is in stock or available for rental and what is not. As a consumer, it is frustrating to arrive at the rental counter to only be told that the vehicle you reserved was not available. I have never once been compensated for taking a vehicle out that I didn't reserve. I have even had to change my plans because the vehicle i reserved and pre-paid for was unavailable. For example, I paid and reserved a pick-up truck during the summer from Avis so that I could ride my bike on the beach. Guess who didn't take his bike because he was put into a compact cadillac instead. This has happened countless time without me complaining because it was mitigated with customer service. Chris obviously was not in control of what cars were available today but Chris was in control of how he handled that situation, which was terrible. Just look back at how many rentals I have taken out that were not in the class that I reserved. I have never once had to write a complaint like this but service is what determines where people will spend their hard-earned money.I encourage all consumers to read reviews before choosing who you do business with. There is nothing like going to write a review only to encounter countless other glaring reviews that share unpleasant experiences. There are plenty of rental car companies to choose from in Orlando. Choose the one that gives you the best service...

Came to town on vacation, went to this location solely for the reviews. Every single review is spot on! Rudy is THE MAN! So nice and does everything he can for you. Highly recommend, excellent experience!

Rudy is the man! Chris too. I’ve rented many cars from them and I’ve always had a very pleasant experience. While I unfortunately have terrible things to say about some other Avis locations, these guys are great. Highly recommended. Go here if you’re in the area.

Dealt with this AVIS office a number of times over the years. Always the same man, Rudy, doing EVERYTHING; reception desk, car prep, paperwork, returns, etc. He's always so nice, always hustling & somehow, while filling all those roles, he makes the experience flow quickly & pleasantly. This time there was a 2nd person & he was very nice & efficient, too, but didn't get his name. This AVIS location respects you & your time. A++ 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Avis rental agency in Maitland Sheraton is excellent and has been for years! Always clean vehicles of diverse options and sizes, and figuring out these new high-tech vehicles can be challenging, but a breeze by the staff. I have been renting cars from this location for local use and one-way travels to international flight hubs instead of connecting flights through airports. Most recently, this expert team was able to facilitate my single-day road trips with a rental car on short notice and unexpectedly changing dates. They truly care for their customers and that's hard to find these days!

Rudy is the best! This location is by far the best rental location for me. After having several horrible experiences at the MCO airport with Budget and Avis as a preferred member, I switched to this location and it has been a smooth ride. Thank you!

Avis gave me a dirty car with low air in the tires. Customer service told me I could go to any Avis location and exchange. Came to this Avis as it was the closet to me at the time. Refused to exchange and told me to go back to the location I received it. Made an already frustrating situation worst and closed the deal on me never using Avis again.Not that matters b/c it's central FL, but I'll add that the man behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask. This was during peak Omicron surge. Couldn't help but laugh b/c he was behind plexiglass that had a sign asking customers to wear a mask. Just another sign of the "care" Avis has for their customers.
