I could never say enough about Dr. Green and her staff! My dachshund needed the dreaded spinal surgery when I lived back in NY… I took him down to my parent’s place in Madeira Beach for us both to recover, as it was to take about 6 months of recovery, therapies and such, for him to relearn how to walk again and regain strength in his hind legs… I got LUCKY to be so close to Medicine River and saw the raving reviews online! When walking in, I was greeted by the lovely Melissa at the front, and their adorable office cat, Meadow. I then met Laura and Dr. Green… The love I saw in all of their eyes for my little man, being carried in in his carry bag was so heartwarming, but so was the PURE love and attention they showed when looking him over and speaking to me about therapy options… He and I spent two months in Florida to begin our recovery and I KNOW it is all thanks to the knowledge, guidance and care of Dr. Green and her amazing staff! NOW IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY GOOD! The above mentioned was all four and a half years ago… I just went to visit my parents last week, and Pickle formed a scary bump on both his cheek and on one of his paws… I knew having Dr. Green look at it would at least inform me of what these really were (as opposed to gambling with a different vet when I got back home)… Dr. Green did me one better! She not only told me what it could be, but RID OF THEM! It was like magic! And to back up a bit more, I saw the lovely Melissa and Laura there yet again, with both of them remembering my little man (showing their happiness to work for the wonderful Dr. Green and the care they each possessed to remember us so long ago!) Dr. Green also recalled my time there during his recovery, and even kept in touch with me, after emailing her a few times afterward, as I continued to seek her knowledge and guidance. Dr. Green and her staff are ACES!!!!********Pickle means the absolute world to me, so please know this review is beyond serious! You can TRUST this review! :)

Probably the best vet in Pinellas County. Dr. Green actually listens and does research to find the answer if needed. The staff are very caring! Took great care of my Zoey when we thought she was not gonna make it another day, has almost made a full recovery. I am so glad we went there!

I’ve taken 3 dogs to see Dr Green now formore than 10 years. She is super patient w my nonsense questions and my initial questioning of her judgment when we first met. The whole practice cares and they go out of their way to help. Again and again. And it’s a tiring profession. Highly recommend this well respected doctor.

We appreciated the online post about activated charcoal. We needed some information about this topic because our dog had eaten some macadamia nuts. The post appeared as a Google search result, even though we are in MN - We have no illusion of becoming DIY vets by reading random things on the internet, but your post definitely helped us quickly sort through the decisionmaking process ... Dr. Greene and her staff Melissa, Cat, and everyone there are the most kind and caring of any vet I've ever used! I'm very grateful to have found this clinic for my 3 kitties. She goes above and beyond to make sure Maizey, Lulu, and baby Nash are well taken care of and as healthy as possible!I can't say enough about Medicine River.I'd refer and recommend them all day, every day to anyone with an animal they love! It's like family!!Thank you Dr. Greene and staff for all you've done for us!!We are loyal and happy clients for ever!

We've taken all of our furbabies to Dr. Green since 2004. We have a lab mix named Sunshine who has lymphoma. I was in the hospital post vent, stroke when my husband found out. Dr. Green came to my bedside at the hospital to tell me the news and also that she knows a rescue who can help for a fund raiser for my Sunshine since I was facing 6 months of hospital bills. Thanks to Dr. Green, I was able to have another year with my girl. Also, when Sunshine got sick, Dr. Green took my girl to Dr. Green's own home to keep an eye on her overnight. She has gone above and beyond to help my Sunshine just as she has with all my other babies. I cant thank her and her wonderful office staff enough. They were quick to relay messages to Dr. Green and quick to get back to me. Thank you!

Like some of the other recent reviews, I have to say that the latest experiences I have had with the office have been terrible. The staff seems overwhelmed and so busy that they cannot take the time to support the clients properly. I have been a long time client of Dr Green's and really like her care; she's a wonderful, caring vet. But I have left 2 messages to schedule a visit and got no call back. In addition, the desk staff was very rude when I requested that they tell clients there is no waiting inside. I'm a snowbird and not here all year so I did not know that. Worse not getting a call back for a pet in distress is sad. Time to switch to another vet, which after so many years here is sad.

Now taking my third dog to Medicine River, and still completely happy with them. They have gone above and beyond more than once to meet my dogs' needs, and I'm more than happy to travel to keep my dogs in Dr. Greene's care!

We just lost the love of our lives Zoey 10 year old chihuahua. It happened so quickly & we were devastated. The Dr. & staff showed so much compassion during our grief.

I have been using Dr. Greene for the last 13 years. During this time, I had a Cocker Spaniel, Bailey, who had heart issues. We saw Dr. Greene after a Seminole Vet told us to put him down. He lived another 4 years under the care of Dr. Greene. The compassion her office showed my Bailey, my family and me during and after his life is something that I will never forget. A few years later, we adopted Roscoe and a year or two later Daisy. I am very protective of my babies as are most pet owners and when she heard a possible heart murmur with Daisy her concern for me and Daisy was genuine because she knew my history with Bailey. I do not usually write reviews but today, New Years Day, I left her a message, assuming they would call me on Monday because Daisy contracted kennel cough. After returning from an out of state trip, I immediately knew something was wrong. I do not kennel them but our dog sitter fell ill the night before and I was left with no choice as we were headed out of state during Christmas. I do not blame anyone as these things happen and the place she stayed was great with both of them. Dr. Greene's staff called me today, prepared some meds for both Roscoe and Daisy and I was able to pick them up and they were able to start their meds tonight. Dr. Greene has very little turnover and as a result my babies know her and her staff. I have always recommended Dr, Greene to everyone I know who is looking for a compassionate and fair vet and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr Greene and staff for taking such amazing care of Daisy, Roscoe and Bailey.
