The women there were amazing and guided me through online mishaps, receiving, and forwarding. Not to mention I got there right before closing. Not one person was in a rush to get customers out! Impeccable service. OUTSTANDING!”

653 W 23rd St, Panama City“Here are two unsolicited lessons for Panama City locals:
1: The UPS Store on 23rd St: The employees here are fantastic—an absolute breath of fresh air.
2: Xfinity: Money-hungry and horribly managed.
To truly appreciate how fantastic Cathy and her team at the UPS Store are, you need to understand the drama and stress we put them through right before closing.
First off, I need to be immature for a second. I would rather burn my dominant hand to a crisp than work with Xfinity again. Xfinity is like that stupid LEGO you step on because your child left it on the floor. If Xfinity were a movie, it would be Sharknado 3. Xfinity is that moment when you sit down for a Zoom meeting, but your laptop updates for an hour without permission. If Xfinity was a car, it would be the Pontiac Sunfire. I’d rather listen to Cotton Eye Joe on repeat for 3 days than spend an hour with Xfinity Management. Xfinity is as useless as wisdom teeth and just as expensive.
Now enough of the theatrics, here’s what happened. We canceled a bulk account and were told we needed to return equipment for roughly 200 homes. Bulk accounts are managed differently so we communicated with the Bulk Department and an area manager, who both told us we could return the equipment to either the Xfinity Store or by UPS. I asked for the best way to get an actual return receipt and was told the store was the best option. Given my terrible experiences with Xfinity over the years, I was prepared for complications.
Instead of taking all 200 homes’ worth of equipment to the Xfinity Store, we showed up two hours before closing with 25 homes’ worth. This was about 77 pieces of equipment. We bagged each home’s equipment separately and logged it on a spreadsheet. The store employees were shocked and initially told us we couldn’t return the equipment there and would have to take it to UPS. After showing them the emails that instructed us to return it to their store from their company, they started accepting the equipment. We unbagged each unit, made sure it was scanned, and threw it in a box. We got through about 20 bags (maybe 60 pieces of equipment) when the manager came out and said they could no longer accept the equipment because it would drop the store’s numbers.
So, we took our box and went straight to UPS. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing with an extremely unorganized box of equipment and a very stressed attitude. When I say very stressed, I mean that we were one wrong blink away from angry crying on each others shoulders in public. Cathy and her coworker didn’t make us feel bad and were super understanding about the overwhelming mess. They could only process six devices at a time and patiently waited while we reorganized them by home so we could easily track everything. They also dealt with us randomly checking the total number of devices every few minutes to ensure we didn’t miss anything. Cathy had a homecoming game to attend for her kid but waited after closing to make sure we felt comfortable with the return. Super thankful for the team at the UPS store on 23rd.”
“Scott is the absolute best. He goes out of his way to be helpful. I ah e used this location to print photos, print posters, show programs and send parcels and am always impressed.”

“After a truly terrible experience with USPS, came here and received amazing service and they charged almost $30 less to deliver my package. Will go here from now on!”
