Andrea and the team at Dog Academy did an amazing job working with our two dogs with obedience training! We had our 2.5 year old lab and 4 month Golden Retriever work with Andrea and our dogs learned a lot and also loved riding to “school “. We wish would have known about Dog Academy when our lab was a pup, but she still learned a lot and had a great time. We think they are going to miss loading up to go to “school” next week. We highly recommend Andrea and Dog Academy! Thank you

Very nice place to visit. Trainer continues to grab while people are around. This helps the dogs concentration. Very clean and friendly.

When I met my dog at the shelter, we instantly bonded. She had been abandoned at a very young age, and spent half of her life in the shelter. She was wild. I asked my Vet for advice, and she said Dog Academy.I contacted Andrea and explained the situation. I was dreading what I just knew she was going to tell me, but she smiled and said "I can fix that".This is not cookie cutter dog training like you get at a pet store. Andrea tailors the training method to match what your dog needs for a given task. This is individualized training.We do Daycare, and we have done the five week initial training. We have gone from a wild untamed beast, to a well mannered member of the family. While she is still very much a puppy, Andrea has brought out the potential in this dog, and she improves all the time.When Andrea had looked at me and said "I can fix that" I thought, wow, confidence. Maybe a little cocky. But I was wrong, as Dizzy Dean once said "it ain't bragging if you really do it".

Andrea took our hyper, high energy, lack-of-impulse-control puppy and transformed him into an obedient, lovable member of our family! She gave him (and us) a great foundation to build on during the 5-week board and train program. We love being able to take him on adventures with us and actually trust him and his training. I would absolutely recommend Dog Acadamy LLC for any dog training needs. She is a wealth of knowledge and amazing at what she does!

Excellent experience. Andrea is caring, respectful, intelligent, you can truly tell she is compassionate and takes pride in what she does. Our Zeke is half a year old and we can take him out in public confidently, thanks to Andrea. She works hard, loves our pup and it shows. Our dad recently had a stroke and we are able to take him to the rehabilitation center to visit with confidence. Outstanding. I’ll recommend her every chance I get! 5 stars.

We adopted an 8 year old Schnauzer last year. A lover if no one else was around. But he'd charge anyone coming to house or walking. Nipping involved. For a year, I could not walk and greet people or have a conversation. I was getting depressed because I know he has a loving heart. Didn't know what I was doing wrong.Andrea came over and with her techniques and training me, Jax settle down in 20 minutes.We went for a walk with neighbors primed to walk down the street. He was a different dog. I had conversations for the first time in a year. Beach walks are wonderful.I am still working with him on some issues but both of us are happy and so much more relaxed. Deciding to get my first puppy trained with Andrea is some of the best dollar for dollar money I have ever spent. Being a busy person with a lot on my plate, I didn’t have the time to learn how to do it all myself and Andrea helped me train my puppy golden retriever everyday with videos and text instructions for what to do when I brought Zeke home. He liked her and her family and team so much, that I also decided to enroll him in doggy daycare after obedience training. Her prices are fair and her quality consistent.I can not recommend her and her family more and highly encourage you to make the investment in your lifelong friend. Thanks.

We are so happy with the work Andrea did with our standard poodle Jaco. He is now working as a therapy dog in a substance use facility. She worked one on one with him and really took the time to assess his training needs as well as train us to enforce his training. Could not be happier!

Amazing staff! We just went through puppy training for 5 weeks and it was great! They give you videos daily on what they did and how to continue the training at home. They genuinely love their jobs and are very knowledgeable and good people! Highly recommend!

We found Andrea after weeks of searching for a dog trainer who could harness the energy and drive of a sporting dog. Her board and train program did wonders for our 6-month old Visla. I can't ever imagine raising another dog without her training program. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Called to get pricing for my dog and the receptionist was soo so rude. I explained I have kennel trained and have taught my dog how to sit. But when I said she was kennel trained she said “ then how would she eat your house then?”Do you want my dog in a kennel 24hrs a day? I week 8 hours a day 5 days a week.That doesn’t include trips on the weekend nor other trips during the week. So she up during the day. Going to try somewhere else?.

When the vet told me my six month old dog was going to be a liability if I didn’t do something, I immediately seeked out training and found Andrea and Sondra. They worked with my dog daily for weeks and it was made a world of difference! Huck was reactive of all unknown people, especially males. He was great with other dogs. They trained him all over town including taking him to the two main places we were having issues at (the vet and daycare). Now, almost 4 months later the owner of the daycare says his stranger danger is so much better and he is like night and day. He even let one employee brush him out for an extended period of time. Had to go to the vet for the first time since his training and he was so much better there too. The techs remembered his training and were able to give him treats, and he had minimal barking while there. Andrea goes above and beyond for her dogs and clients and I will highly recommend them to anyone who asks. They’ve been a life saver to our pup, helping him understand the world around him without being so reactive. We needed to to find someone to help our year old puppy, Sparky, become an enjoyable family member. After many calls we found Andrea with Dog Academy LLC in Lynn Haven, FL. She is AMAZING! After 5 weeks of training, she brought him home and spent over 2 hours going over all he’s learned and taught us how to continue helping him be the best puppy possible. If we need any help, she will come over 2 more times to help us with any issues. I couldn’t ask for better. I’m so grateful we connected with Andrea and have a puppy we now enjoy.If you need help with your dog, I HIGHLY recommend Andrea with Dog Academy!

We hired Andrea to take in a dog to board/ train that my niece helped rescue from a bad future. Not feral but scared and a bit wild. She's shared the pup's progress with us and obviously all this girl needed was a calm and familiar presence and a trainer who let her know that gentle guidance was what she'd never had before. Think she's probably saved this girl from a bad end. This is the best place for your pup to train.
