If there was an option for “0” star I would select that option because giving them one star is still too high!!!
I was loosely referred to SUN-MARK Auto. I was desperate to get my car repaired and the mechanic my brother referred me to did not get back to me- that’s how I ended up taking my car there.
They quote me $4800 to repair my car. I first noticed that if I didn’t reach out to them to follow up on my car- I would not hear from them!
When I was ready to make down payment, I spoke to Amber ( the woman at the front desk) she told me the cost would be $1500- “ for parts only.” So I asked her where do they get their parts from? Amber replied- NAPA. So I went to NAPA and priced all the parts they ( Sun-Mark Auto), already gave me their price on. Strangely enough, NAPA prices total $841; while this Auto shop charged me $1500!!! So I went back to them and showed them NAPA PRICES. Amber told me that just their mark-up prices. So I told I can understand that but to over charge the customer over 100% of the NAPA prices- the same place they’re saying they get their parts from is crazy. I asked her as much as I made them aware of this, I asked Amber to knock off $100-200 off. They would not do it. I asked to speak to Mark- the owner; by this time he is on the phone. She wouldn’t let me speak to Mark AND MARK WOULDN’T EVEN EXERCISE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ADVISE AMBER TO LET ME THE CUSTOMER SPEAK TO HIM! Long story short, when they realize I caught them jacking up the prices and addressed them on it- now they do want to do the service. I towed my car to guess where?? My brother’s Mechanic I originally wanted to bring my car to in the first place. SUN-MARK AUTO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STINK AND THEY JACKED UP THEIR PRICES WAY TOO HIGH! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Terrible place, They are not willing to negotiate pricing. The shop “mark up price” is more than 2x times the original price from where they buy the parts from.

I was going to have to buy a new car, but Bob was able to find what was wrong with my 2009 Prius. Saved me a lot of money on parts and I didn't have to go to that ripoff toyota dealer.

Mark sold me his 2003
Suburban.He leaned on the Fact,That he took good care of it! That the only thing it needed was Brakes!
And that I own a Mechanic shop so you ARE good to Go! I didn't even get it home and the Check engine light came on! And since then I have put in new timing chain and Gear,New Mas air Flow sensor,New intake Gaskets
And knock sensors
New oil pressure sensor .
And nowNew Temperature sensor.And now New Fuel pump!The Man is a Cheat Period! I trusted him and he Screwed me! I wouldn't let him touch my Lawnmower !

The Toyota Dealership had told me I needed a new transmission for my Camry for $7k!!! I took the Camry to Sun-Mark where Bob looked at the car within one day performing a full analysis of the transmission, etc. and let me know the transmission was in great condition and that I only needed a new battery! Thank you Bob and Sun-Mark!

I have been taking my plug-in hybrid car to the dealership for all maintenance and repairs for 9 years. I address all messages & error codes immediately. At no time was I told about problems w/my ORIGINAL spark plugs. Everybody knows that spark plugs don’t last 9 years, even in a plug-in hybrid car.Sunmark went into the Repair code archives and found the message for the spark plugs needing to be replaced. A message never received from the dealership and their “Auto Maintenance and System Check” processes.My plugs were replaced and the necessary carbon cleaning done. My car now gets 3.9 miles more per gallon when using the ICE (ICE = Internal Combustion Engine). Mileage that used 1/2 tank of gas now uses 1/3 tank of gas.Repairs are all ready paying for themselves.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I am BEYOND satisfied with the work these guys did on my car!! I have to drive a lot for work & the wear/tear wasn’t something my guy could do (James Pearson) so he immediately said “Sun Mark!” great call James!) They took my car in ASAP, addressed the issue & I had it back in no time. I visited Toyota of Tampa Bay six weeks ago and was told I needed $3300.00 worth of repairs on my 2016 RAV4. So I made an appointment with Sun-Mark and they told me three of my tires were dry rotted, and to purchase them from Costco or Sam's Club since they wouldn't be able to come close to their prices. Just had my alinement done today and my car feels great.Sun-Mark has been honest with me so far so they now have three more cars to work on.Service: General repairs & maintenance
