My mother in law and aunt in law told me about Hobby Lobby. So one day they decided to take me and I’ve been going ever since. Thanks to all the employees for working hard to handle the lines and keep the store neat organized and stocked it has made shopping such a breeze. I normally find everything I need or want and then some. I’ve gotten gifts for family and friends from here. I love doing arts and crafts and just being creative in my spare and hobby lobby has taken it to a whole new level. I definitely recommend others coming here for things they made need. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I stopped in and were blown away by all the great Christmas and home decor items they had. The prices were much lower than we expected, so we are definitely adding this to our list of stores we go to for holiday and home decorations. The staff were very helpful and even though they were busy restocking shelves after their Black Friday sales. The store was clean and well organized.

So many crafts - hobbies and projects to explore. Helpful staff members, stocked shelves, other than the Christmas decor is getting picked over quickly. One of my favorite stores. I need a 3rd job to keep up with my Hobby Lobby spending. Lol

The store itself is great. The diversity of products and seasonal offerings make this a go-to store for both necessities and nick-knacks alike. The reason I'm only giving it four stars is not because of the store itself, but because of the PUF fee (Proeprty Use Fee) imposed by the land developer on every shopper. This fee (currently at .5%) is not a tax, but it is money that goes directly to the developer. The store gets none of it at all. You, as the shopper, must pay the developer for the privilege of shopping in their shopping center. I'm not an attorney, but as far as I can tell, this is perfectly legal. The more you spend, the more the developer makes. Not the store, the land developer. If you think that tip culture has gotten out of control, this is a whole other level of tipping. It makes me wonder how long it will be before we are paying to breathe. If it weren't for this fee, I would give Hobby Lobby five stars. But I can't. Although they don't benefit from the fee, they chose to occupy that space, knowing that the developer charged their customers for shopping there. In my opinion they should have chosen a different space to open a store in. It may have fit their business model in every other way, but this is not something that I can just excuse from them. The cost of things is high enough without having to tip the company that developed the land on every purchase we make. If the developer can't make enough profit by charging the stores rent, they need to be in another business.

Hobby Lobby has so many beautiful items for crafts, decorations and parties. Almost all staff are very attentive. I always enjoy very much going to Hobby Lobby. I hope corporate considers opening a Hobby Lobby in one of these places: Riverview, Gibsonton and/or Brandon.

They stock the best yarn. The checkout lines are always long but ultimately it's worth the wait. I always find great holiday items at Hobby lobby.

Amazing staff. They are always friendly and have a smile on their face. The managers are always kind and helpful. I thought I would be put off by the fact that their ownership is super religious, but everybody there is very kind and nice to everyone, regardless of the ownership views.

Our first time here and the cashier, also assistant manager, Chad seemed to be the most negative person. Not only to us but very noticeably not kind to his employees. I can only imagine what it’s like working with him and the lack of leadership he would most likely have. Things happen in peoples lives of course and I have worked in customer service but there’s no reason to be so rude and miserable to every single person around you. Really made the end of our shopping experience sour. Almost wanted to just leave without purchasing our choices.

Always really neat stuff, not just art and decor. My kids always find great science kits, toys and activities. I'm not a crafty person, but I always love coming in and finding things.

Did not enjoy my experience today. Made a return within the 90 days with my receipt and the cashier Tamara C. made me feel like there was a problem with my return even though It was only one item. She looks at my receipt, (huffs)makes these little comments about how the purchase was it May, proceeds to mark all over the receipt before scanning the receipt and then the item. Once the transaction went through and she gives me back the receipt and the return receipt, she then tried to lecture me on their return policy. I was already walking away, but stopped because I didn’t understand why she was explaining this to me when she didn’t even explain this to the person before me who had a return. I felt discriminated against at this point. I then explained that I always have my receipts and I was well within the 90s days, however she was dismissive and kept trying to explain that if someone returns something without a receipt they can’t get a full refund. Again, didn’t understand why she was trying to tell me that but she made me feel uncomfortable with what should have been a simple and hassle free return. Perhaps she needs more customer service training because I did not appreciate that interaction.

Hobby Lobby has an incredible number of things in one store. The variety is truly impressive.Be informed and know they play the “sale” game. Start by overcharging for everything in the store. Then advertise 50% or BOGO sales on select items for the week. While the sale price is usually pretty good, it is wise to always check the competition. This has the effect of you getting something on sale, then buying a couple more things at full price because you’re already there. Although I can suggest you only buy sale items, how you spend your money is your business.
