I have been bringing my animals to Dr. Tony for over 15 years. Even after moving 45 mins away, I still come here. The one time I took one of my dogs somewhere closer, I ended up being charged over $800 to be told that they didn't know what the problem was. I brought my dog to Dr. Tony and he knew right away what the issue was and we were able to resolve it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Tony is genuinely excited to see my pets and gushes over them during well checkups. For sick visits, he explains all options and talks out his thinking with you so you can make an educated decision. They provide you with quotes up front before proceeding with treatment and follow up with a call the next day to make everything is going well. I will always come here.

I have had a very hard time finding a veterinarian who will see tortoises. I have finally found one worth going back to.

The office and employees are so welcoming. I took my son's bearded dragon to be seen, they were very helpful and I learned things about him that I didn't even know. The rates are great as well.

I’ve been a customer of Dr. Tonys for 20+ years. His staff and team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I can tell that Dr. Tony loves our animals and his clients animals as if they were his own. We have had bad experiences with other vets prior but Animal and Exotics has what it takes to care for my animals and anyone else’s. I highly recommend this small local business. Animals are our family and I can tell that Dr. Tony is unlike any other vet that I’ve been to.

We are SO pleased to FINALLY have found a great vet that is well trained in caring for English Bulldogs! Dr. Tony has 2 of his own, as do we, and the struggle to find a great veterinarian who understands the unique needs that Bulldog owners go through makes me so happy. This is now our new vet and we are so thankful to have found you Dr. Tony. Thank you so very much for caring for our bulldogs and being so insightful!

Bring your pets here!!! I have been bringing our dogs to Animal & Exotic Medical Center for over 10 years now. Our oldest dog has been seen over the last few years for liver, heart and now spleen issues. I didn't know what was going on at the time, but Dr. Tony has always been so knowledgeable, caring and professional in everyway. The most recent visit was eye opening. She needed major surgery at the age of 13 and has now recovered 100% so she is living her best life. Dr. Tony took the time to answer any questions or concerns we had regarding the procedure and different options we had and also informed us about the recovery phase. I am so thankful to have such a caring and amazing vet to rely on these last few years with all we have been through. Of course the staff at the office called the following day to check in on her and they have every time after any procedures that have been come our way. Everyone at the office was so nice and excited to see her come in for the follow up visit to get her staples removed. Thank you for everything Dr. Tony!!

I will never go back! There is only one vet at this office and it shows. The medical staff is rushed and distracted. Their priority is to see as many patients as possible; leaving you wondering if Dr. Tony actually care’s about his patients.A responsible doctor should try to educate their clients and you won’t get that here. If you don’t ask questions they won’t go out of their way to tell you what you need to know, what to expect, what to look out for. If you don’t know the right questions to ask, you will be in the dark. I wasn’t even provided with any form of after care paperwork; even though my pet received a procedure extensive enough it required anesthesia. As a professional who advertises he works with “exotics” you would think educating would be a priority. I also received conflicting information from the vet and the tech; causing additional confusion. They also don’t care enough to make follow up/check up calls after performing a procedure on your sick pet. If they had they would know she died just a couple of hours after leaving their care. Just a couple of hours after saying she’s all better now and will be 100% by the following day. I’ve brought two of my pets here and only because there wasn’t availability elsewhere. Both of them died within hours of Dr. Tony confidently saying all is well. How does it go from everything will be ok to death that quickly? Once is questionable, twice is a trend. Either he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or likes to give false hope. Either way, it’s careless. A doctor should be straightforward and honest. Instead I was left shocked and heartbroken, twice. If you’re desperate, do your pet a favor and go to Blue Pearl before making the same mistake I did.In addition, the front desk staff needs training. There is a stark difference between the customer service and compassion I receive from All Creatures Animal Hospital (our primary vet) and this place. They were aggressive about receiving a $150 deposit but couldn’t be bothered to provide me with a total estimate after I requested it 3 times throughout the day. Just an overall complete lack of customer service. I had already paid $400+ the day before and my pet is already in their possession, yet I’m being treated as if I’m going to pull a fast one. I’m dealing with the stress of my dying pet; have some compassion.Their only positive is their pricing. At the end I only paid $700, but it cost me my pet.To the office:Instead of replying to my review, feel free to call me. I’m still waiting on that follow up.- S. Saienni & J. Segel

Excellent care!! We were concerned we would have to put our beloved guinea pig down. However, the doctor was able to find out that her problem was fixable with medication. We are grateful for all of the staff!!

We take our 110 pound Great Pyrenees Anatolian Shepherd here. Dr. Tony and his staff are wonderful. Everyone is super nice and go out of their way to help and answer any questions. Our dog is super protective of his family and they accommodate well with this and everyone tries to make him as comfortable as possible. Each visit our dog gets better and better. Our cat also comes here and we have also taken our bearded dragon and our husky here as well. We have been going here for years. Very happy with their services.

Can't handle a large or anxious dog.EDITED: Since I can't post a reply based on the on the feedback given to me by the clinic, I will update my review. There is no reason my dog needs to be heavily sedated in order to receive a simple rabies vaccine. It takes only a few seconds. I even brought treats into the office with me, which would have distracted him enough to administer the vaccines. There was absolutely no reason to drag him into the back and try to hold him down. I could hear his screams and it was totally unnecessary. He has been treated in the exam room before, so I'm not sure why it had to be done this way. Also, a vet should be capable of managing anxious animals (the dog is not aggressive). I work with people in Animal Control and they can manage actual aggressive animals. It takes only a few minutes to administer the vaccines as I mentioned. When he was in the exam room, he was calm and laying next to me. No excuse for this treatment. To have to drug him when something as simple as this is not necessary. This goes against your statement that you do your best to make the "patients" experience an less stressful as possible.Original Review:I have been a customer of this practice for 2 years. Unfortunately, I've not had great experiences the last 2 times I've been to the office. We came for a simple Rabies and Bordetella vaccine, which can quickly and easily be administered. They could have been administered while he was in the exam room with me and it would have taken only a minute or two but they insisted he be brought into the back for the attempt. Because my dog was anxious and they didn't know how to manage it, I was told I had to come back with him sedated in order to complete the service.I didn't even get to talk to Dr Tony. The way we were treated was very disappointing. I would expect individuals who work with animals on a daily basis to be able to handle the situation better. It was a waste of time.

Tubby (my pet turtle) had his first vet visit here for an exam with Dr. Qureishi (DVM) and we had a great experience! The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Alicia was our technician and she was so sweet and caring while she did Tubby's intake and weight etc. Doctor Qureishi was great and seemed very knowledgeable. He has pet turtles himself as well. It gave me peace of mind to speak with him and confirm that I'm providing the proper husbandry to my turtle and get his advice/tips.

Dr. Tony was very knowledgeable about ball pythons when I brought mine in. The tech was also very kind and answered all my questions. Pricing is extremely reasonable and I was able to get an appointment fast as well. I would definitely recommend for exotics. I only give a 4 and not a 5 because I was given a packet on ball python care, but I atleast know some of the things listed are outdated or not ideal husbandry guides, like using a heat mat or paper towels as substrate. The doctor himself and the tech were very knowledgeable though and more than explained every answer to my questions.

I CANNOT give enough praise and gratitude to Dr. Qureishi and his amazing team. I saw Dr. Qureishi when my bearded dragon became ill and my normal vet said nothing was wrong with her at multiple visits over at least a years time. If I would’ve just listened to my gut, and not that bloody vet (will NOT be going back to that one), Dr. Qureishi without a doubt could have saved her.Too many vets are claiming they treat bearded dragons, and other reptiles when they really only know how to do wellness exams on healthy reptiles. You don’t want a vet like that seeing your reptiles. Period. Because you won’t know if something is wrong until it’s too late.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SEE DR. QUREISHI AND HIS TEAM FOR ALL YOUR REPTILES. And of course, any other pets. This man is the KING OF REPTILES. He knows his stuff! He took one look at the X-ray my other vet did, examined my baby, knew exactly what was wrong, and had her booked for urgent surgery, all under half an hour. If I would’ve found him a year ago, my Lizzy would still be here.Don’t make the same mistake I did. Trust your gut. And go see Dr. Qureishi and his amazing team.Thank you for everything Dr. Qureishi! God bless you!!!!
