As an Army veteran, I was deeply touched by the generosity of Okeechobee Outfitters who provided me with an all-expense-paid hog hunting trip. This gesture alone speaks volumes about their respect and support for veterans.From the moment my family and I arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by Carla and her incredible staff. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable experience was evident in every aspect of our stay.The hunting experience itself was exhilarating and well-organized, catering to both novices and seasoned hunters. The guides were knowledgeable, ensuring safety while also sharing valuable hunting tips.But what truly set this experience apart was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. The food was outstanding - every meal felt like a feast, prepared with care and served with a smile.By the end of our trip, we didn't just leave with great memories; we left feeling like we were part of the Okeechobee family. Great place, we did a family trip here. Carla is the most amazing host. From the moment we arrived we were treated great. She is also an amazing cook, the rooms are comfortable and clean. My husband was able to get a hog his first day ! The property is peaceful and relaxing for the non-hunters. Definitely recommend.

I don't often write reviews and never until i have had multiple experiences with a Company or a product but it is time to post a review again. The subject....Hunting in South Central Florida hosted by Okeechobee Outfitters of Lorida, Fl. I have hunted 3 times with these extraordinary folks and each time was a 5 star experience. The whole crew there from Carla the owner on down bent over backwards to ensure I had a great time.........and a great time I had. These are very hard working, polite, Godly people who go out of their way to ensure you have a safe and successful hunting experience. I have not met one person that i would not call a friend. You will find as I have this is a dedicated group who start you off in a family atmosphere......I never had the impression i was just a client.........I felt as part of the family with the warmth and hospitality displayed by everyone I met and or hunted with. The room was superb for the overnight stay, the food exceptional and always a horn of plenty and all 3 hunts were successful and this not due to my skill but the hard work/never say quit skill of the guides. All in all this is a Championship outfitter and if you are in the search for a hunting experience that combines all the qualities I have listed here look no further..........Okeechobee Outfitters will not disappoint unless well,..........you just impossible to please.....:))

From the minute we stepped out of our truck to when we drove away to come back home we were treated with Southern Hospitality! Cannot speak anymore highly of our guides Clint and Chris. We had a great time out on the canals through the night, the sun and rain they were relentless to help us fill our tags. Left with great memories and pictures but most importantly we left with new lifetime friends. This is one outfitter that we will definitely come back too. You won’t be disappointed with the accommodations, food, guide services or management. Can’t wait to see you next year (if not before!) The Hedberg’s ?

Went with Okechobee Outfitters for a spring turkey hunt. Took a nice bird on second day of hunt. Very pleased with the professionalism of the guides and staff. Meals were great and the accommodations were excellent. I was focused on getting an Osceola Turkey for my grand slam but I will definitely be going back to do an exclusive pig hunt.

First time using this outfitter. Used another outfitter in the past they never called me back. For that I thank them. Okeechobee Outfitters surpassed them. Think I found me a new outfitter. The whole staff was very polite and professional. Communication before and after the hunt was great. Shell was our guide on a dog and buggy knife hunt. He did what it took to get the amount of pigs we wanted including one of my sons getting a trophy pig. I would highly recommend using Okeechobee Outfitters.

I went boar hunting here and it was one of the best most fun things I’ve ever done every ones nice just good honest people. Can’t wait to return one day for some turkeys!!!

My wife, father and I have now taken 2 trips with Okeechobee Outfitters and both trips have been amazing/memorable. Our first was a alligator/hog hunt where we were able to harvest 3 gators and 2 hogs.Our second was through the Sportsmen’s foundation for military families. I was able to harvest 2 hogs and a raccoon and my little brother in law shot the pig of a lifetime with a 250lb tank!Danny and Carla are a joy, both make you feel welcome and take the time to reach you on a personal level. The home cooked meals are an added bonus and always amazing. I don’t have enough great things to say about them. And the work they do through their foundation to help military/combat veterans is just the icing on the cake. Danny and Carla are amazing people and the guides and workers at okeechobee outfitters go above and beyond in their work to make you feel welcome and to make sure your time there will be remembered. We can’t wait for many more hunts to come!

My family and I spent three nights at the lodge for a hog and coyote hunt. The owners (Danny and Carla) are extremely friendly and very helpful. They take the time to make sure to explain how everything works and they will make sure to have personal, relatable conversations to connect with the hunters.The guide that we had this trip - Clint - was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond with helping us with anything we needed, answering any questions, etc. He was an absolute pleasure and an added bonus to our hunting trip.The landscape is beautiful and we were able to see animals ranging from raccoons to deer to hogs. The food at the lodge is homemade mostly from local animals (boar, alligator, etc) and is delicious!I would highly recommend this business for new and expert hunters. They are extremely veteran friendly and even have a foundation that they run for veterans and their families.I look forward to my next trip!

My wife and I had a great time at Okeechobee Outfitters. We hunted hogs and gator. I took a 10' 8" gator and two hogs while there. The lodge is extremely comfortable and the food is off the chart. I highly recommend Danny and Carla. Be prepared for a good time. The work they do for the Sportsmans Foundation for Military Families is admirable as well.

Been a hunt club member since March. Just finished a 2 day hog hunt with my grandson (his first). Took a beautiful trophy, calico-colored boar in a night stalk. Danny and Carla run a first class operation and are real, super people. Treat you like guests in their personal home. Can’t wait for the next hunt.
Now well into my second year hog hunting with 'OO'. Hunting and guest experience continues to be super. Took my first Trophy boar on the last trip. Also I'm a big supporter of their Military Vet foundation. It's a great program to say thanks to those that have faithfully served to protect us all. Heading back down today with my grandson and friends for some more fresh pork, Anxious to make some more apple-sage sausage.
