I'm just coming off my second terrible experience with their service department. I would not ever go back unless there was no other option. I'll update this when I have more time.
Update; I received messages from two different people at the dealership and shortly after I added a review to Dealer Rater website, the review site the dealer sent me a link to review my experience there and received a response from the owner Jay Mealey supposedly, asking me to respond privately to him, which I did on 3/27/24. I have yet to receive a response from him as of 4/8

if you plan to buy a used car here, take it to your private mechanic and get an inspection. I purchased a car and they didn't even change something simple as the air filter. Gave me the runaround and 1 million excuses. And acted as if they were doing me a favor. Terrible customer service.

Another absolutely fantastic experience with them team at sports Mazda. Thoroughly enjoyed shopping for my new ride with Ryan Parker. He was a great salesman and truly listened to what I wanted in a car. He is personable and knowledgeable. It's always a pleasure to meet up with Beth who hooks your car up with all the fun tech features and teaches you all the new things your car does as well. I appreciate her patience, kindness, and knowledge. She is a rockstar! I got a really good deal on my lease and that is what keeps me coming back here. The excellent service. The fantastic employees. The great cars that are worth the price. You can't go wrong with Sports Mazda North.

This review specifically relates to the service department. A year ago I had a specific repair/service done to my vehicle, that after should have lasted another 50-70k miles before the next service. This dealer provides a video summary of their inspection on every visit showing all the of the work that needs to be done. I save every video. Well recently after going for an oil change, I was told I needed the same service I paid over $500-$600 dollars for last year in the newest video summary of repairs needed. The component was in "bad shape." I immediately told my service assistant how could that be as that was done last year. I pulled the video from last year on my phone and had them look up prior receipts. They were perplexed and immediately tried to explain it away. You either did the work or you didn't. I paid for my oil change that day and found a local mechanic I could trust to work on my vehicle after 9 years of using Sport Mazda North.

Great and easy dealership. This review is about my experience selling my car. Kyle reached out to me on Facebook to inquire about a car I had listed. With a bit of negotiating and some clarifying photos, we reached a fair agreement - something I, as an introvert, very much appreciated. I hate, hate, HATE the traditional car sales business. I did confirm that assuming everything checked out, the manager would offer the price we discussed.I came in, and it was super easy working with Kyle. Manager confirmed the price after quickly checking out the car. Paperwork was done within 10 minutes but had to wait over an hour (it was a Friday at close and I changed the time last minute earlier in the day due to work so that's really my own fault) but I enjoyed the machine cappuccino and wrote up this review so it wasn't too bad. Walked out with paperwork shortly afterwards. Note, they can't cut checks on Friday afternoons, so don't plan on selling them if you're not comfortable walking out with payment. They do give you plenty of documents stating the payment is owed and it gets cut the following Monday.Also, they'll offer to bring you home through their corporate Lyft account! Great perk! And thank you again Kyle for making this process super easy!

If you take a look at my review for another local car dealer, you'll note it's not what one would call, friendly. My point is, I don't give out 5 stars lightly. I probably could have gotten a slightly better deal but the attitude and professionalism displayed by their sales person, Tiago, as well as his direct manager, Alex and with their service manager (who has been with the company 21 years!), in my visit a few days later, I'm completely pleased to give this review. Bravo to for emphasizing customer service and for his ability to hire good ones.

Made the mistake of being interested in a used car they had. They sent me an invoice with an extra $1,700 in fees, which was 17% of the vehicle's cost before tax, tag, and title. They were mostly BS fees added to an already overpriced vehicle and higher than most dealers, including my local Jaguar, Mercedes, and Mazda dealership. I was asked not to be contacted again, but while I was working I received a text offering me a new deal! It was the same quote. I also got an email offering me an exceptional deal! It was the same one, marked at a whopping $0 off. That spurred me to write this review.

I came in for an $80 synthetic oil change, and came out paying $237. To add insult to injury, if I did what they told me I needed, it would have cost me $290 more.I have a Mazda 6 that is less than two years old and has fewer than 20,000 miles on it. The car is well taken care of and is driven under normal conditions.The oil change was approximately $80, which I think is a fair price. They scared me into purchasing a brake fluid replacement flush, which added another $135. When I subsequently read the maintenance schedule for Mazda, there was no recommendation for changing the fluid at this interval, and I had at least another year to replace it. They stated that the fluid was dark due to a breakdown, which in hindsight I do not believe, nor have I ever had any car needing brake fluid replacement/flush in any interval near this. Unfortunately, when they scare you into something as serious as brakes, you take it seriously.They also recommended a cabin air filter, stating mine was dirty, along with a foam cleaner for the evaporator core. For this service, they wanted $160. Fortunately, I did not go for this service and subsequently went to another mechanic, who put in a name brand cabin air filter and sprayed the evaporator for a total of $35 and literally five minutes of labor. The mechanic also stated that the filter really did not need replacing, but because he had already taken the old filter out to look at it, he might as well replace it.Another service that Sport Mazda tried to push on me was a wheel alignment, due to uneven tire wear. The other mechanic also looked at the tires and showed me that the tire wear was totally even and the car did not need their $115 alignment, telling me that they probably would not have even put it on the rack.I went to a Mazda dealer figuring that although their prices might be slightly higher than other mechanics, they would be fair and honest.I am appalled they were trying to take that much advantage of me as a young female customer, coming in for an $80 oil change. If I had taken all of their suggestions, it would have cost me more than $500 for a routine oil change. This is just wrong.

I purchased my first ever new car from here and it could not have been a better experience. Earnest was a great sales person and answered all questions and eased any feeds I had. Shane the sales manager also went above and beyond to make my experience great.I really enjoyed they took the extra step to give me "birth certificate" for my new car. I also liked that they did not try to upsell me too much on things I did not need, and worked hard to make sure I got the best deal possible with my financing. I look forward to taking my car there in the future.
