They're very loving and supportive group. They even helped solve an ongoing issue with one of our dogs that no one else could figure out. I highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. We have four dogs that range in age from one year to 16 years old and they all get perfect care. They never try to sell us something we don't need.

Really grateful for all the staff and how great they are. It was super easy and quick to get my puppy in and Dr. Gill was very knowledgeable and caring.

Yesterday I had one of the worst experiences of my life. My 14 year old dog was not doing well and it was time to put her down. That fact by itself made my heart ache. Took her to Sanlando Animal Hospital, as I had done before. I warned the Dr/tech that Tita was had a tremendous fear of being touched or picked up. Part of her being old and senile. I asked that instead of putting an IV first, if the could just give her a shot to relax her first to which he responded “let’s see how she does first”. I was hoping the transition could be as painless as possible for my beloved Tita. He took her to the back, and for what felt like the longest 25 minutes of my life, I keep hearing her barks and cry. Of course they were trying to put an IV on a completely panicked dog. Had to go to the front desk to complain about it and ask why was she not sedated first. Dr comes back to the room with her in hand and visibly struggling to hold her. But now she had an IV on. I asked AGAIN why was she not sadated first to which he responded that she was not in pain. Like a robot he kept repeating it again and again. Dr had to go back to get the shots, instead of all that being handled simultaneously to make it easier on the dog. I tried to hold her as best as I could but she was in full panick mode and her IV fell of. Just the plastic part. The needle was still inside her leg. She was bleeding all over the place. When the Dr came back again I begged him to please sedate her before redoing the IV. Another 10 minutes of Tita crying in the back, he finally came back with her, IV on again and the sedative, and shot that would stop her heart in hand. I completely loss it. To which he replied, again, that she was not in pain, and that he had to do the IV first because if sedated before IV, finding a vein would be difficult. He blatantly lied until the last minute. If he would’ve been honest from the beginning in telling me he would not sáldate her first I would’ve known this was not the right procedure for my dog, and would’ve taken her somewhere else. What was to be a smooth transition to doggie heaven was instead a physical and physiological trauma for my dear dog, who was tortured to the end. NEVER take your pets to Sanlando Animal Hospital in Altamonte. May my Tita rest in peace.

I have taken two of my cats here, they really care about your animals and strive to help out the most they can. It’s also not expensive. Dr. Donald is great.

2024 update: cannot stress how much i love this vet! was able to bring in my cat who used to be a stray so fast! got her looked at so throughly to make sure we saw the problem. the vet gave me soo many options and advice to help my little kitty feel better!! no pressure to over buy things that aren’t needed as some vets do.
2022: have been taking my dog here since she was a young! they have been super great with her being a bit scared of the being at the vet from puppyhood! have been super helpful if i needed to squeeze in an appointment for an emergency.

Dr. Martinez and the staff at Sanlando are the best! The receptionists, the techs, and everyone there is so nice and highly skilled. They have always provided the best care for my dog!! My dog has been a patient for over 12 years, and I have always been happy with the quality of service!
