9 years ago, we brought our brand new puppy, Fiona, to Markham Woods Animal Hospital. I remember the staff at the time showed her so much love, and it was an amazing experience for us and for our baby girl.
Last week, after dealing with a year of medical issues with Fiona, we had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep. We brought her back to Markham Woods Animal Hospital, and the staff handled the situation with sympathy and grace. They made us and Fiona as comfortable as possible. Thank you to everyone who helped us that day.
Today, we received a handwritten card from Markham Woods Animal Hospital, with paw prints from our baby girl. The kindness we have received from this vet is truly touching, and we cannot express how much they are appreciated.

They are phenomenal! We had an issue with our dog( our baby) and called our reg vet who we had been going to for 11 years said they couldn't squeeze him in so I contacted markham woods and they told us to get him in as soon as we coukd get there on a sat well he ended up to be ok and before we could call back they were calling us back to see how he was wr literally changed vets that day and are thrilled with them

This vet and staff is a hidden gem! They’ve done it all from regular check up to saving my dogs life in an emergency. They are kind, understanding, and patient. My check in process has been fast, I’ve been handled with extreme care and feel blessed to have this team around the corner from me and my dog. YOU ALL ROCK!!!!

So I took my four dogs here today based on a referral I was given and let me tell you I was so impressed, first off they were able to take all my four dogs at one time which seems to have been a problem with my previous vet. When I got there everyone was super friendly from the front desk to the technician to the vet it was seamless and such a pleasant experience, turns out that the technician was actually someone we knew from our previous event. The facility is clean they are very fast at getting In and out we were there for a little over an hour(4 dogs) We are very excited to have found this place and we look forward to every time we get to go, we felt welcome and not pressured to do services we do not need or we’re not interested in at the time. So I give this place a 10 out of 10

Dr. Janosco is the absolute best, we followed her here and couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly, the hospital clean and appointments are not hard to get.

We recently adopted 2 kittens and decided to give Markham Woods Animal Hospital a try since they had great reviews and we weren't happy with other vets we've tried with our other cat. We've seen both Dr. Hunley and Dr. Janosco for the kittens and the older cat and have had wonderful experiences with both doctors and all of their staff. Special shoutout to Isaiah and Bea who have also been incredible with getting our questions answered. Most recently, I brought in our older cat who was showing signs of discomfort and Dr. Janosco was immediately able to, not only diagnose that our cat had a UTI, but could tell even just by feeling "her" bladder that our cat was not girl like we thought, it was a boy! (Haha - whoops!) and took immediate action since UTIs are much more serious for male cats. We will definitely continue going to this office and feel confident about our kitties' care here :)
