Bad place. I came to this place to volunteer and when a employee came out I asked for help but they ignored me and walked away.

We enjoy volunteering with U.S. Hunger for the past five years. It's a family friendly experience. Our youngest is in elementary school and participates. The U.S. Hunger team keeps volunteers motivated and energized during the shift, which goes by quickly. It's a great way to give back to the community.

We attended an excellent family and public service event on a Saturday and collectively packed thousands of meals for those in need. We look forward to attending again

While it is an important organization for the meaningful work they do, the leadership is NON existent. They'll use you then lose you. Owner severely mismanaged funds and lacked proper transparency in everything that was going on. I learned a lot during my time here about how not to treat people.

This company's management is a perfect example of what poor leadership looks like. Management lacks a clear structure, and everything is disorganized. The managers keep mixing things up, which is very confusing even for long-time employees. Also, the managers are too egoistic to accept feedback and opinions. The company's mission is great, but the leadership is the exact opposite.

The spendings here are always extravagant. Not for feeding the children, but for office and warehouse improvements. I feel like we could serve more children if the money was not spent on unnecessary things.

Not all non-profit organizations have the highest and most noble intentions. One example would be Feeding Children Everywhere. Volunteers always leave this place once they see what's really going on inside. Donations are not used entirely for feeding children, but also in other things not related to the organizations.

The mission and vision of the company are noble and inspiring. However, there are just too many problems inside. The rate of change in this company is too high. Most things change too quickly, and most employees and even managers are unable to adapt as quickly. I met a lot of passionate workers, but almost all of them are already burned out now, including me. Management needs to make the company culture and environment better id they want to stop losing passionate and hardworking people.

My kids have a heart to help the community and unfortunately, we missed the cutoff to fill shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, I just had to find something else we could participate in! I visited Feeding Children Everywhere's site, and saw an event at their headquarters in Longwood. I easily signed up my family of four for a one hour slot this past Saturday morning. We arrived a few minutes before our designated time. We were greeted at the door and immediately provided a hairnet. We killed a few minutes by looking at the merchandise available at the front. After a short briefing, we were divided up and sent to a table. We were given simple tasks and trained quickly. The meal we were assigned to put together was Hamburger Hero. It consisted of pasta noodles, vegetables and a special seasoning. I love that this is a volunteer opportunity the whole family can participate in. Kids get to scoop, pour, fill bags through a funnel... my boys both were in charge of weighing the bags after they were filled. They either had to add food, or remove it depending on what the scale said. They had a blast! The fun part was that their was Christmas music blasting and a friendly competition of who could fill up the most boxes. Each time a box was filled, we would ring a bell and the whole room would cheer. So much fun! We felt good that we did at least a SMALL part of helping fight hunger. Please do the same and sign up when you can.

What a GREAT organization! I've worked with them two different times now - the first was through a Disney VoluntEARS event where we went to their headquarters and packaged hundreds of meals for those in need. It was so inspiring to learn more about their mission and their commitment to truly helping those who need it most. I loved learning more about the nutrition value of all the meals we package. They were so detailed as to tell us everything, including the pink Himalayan salt that is used to provide more nutrition compared to regular salt. It's such a fun place to volunteer as a team builder or to meet others who are passionate about giving back. The second time I worked with this organization was when they hosted a large event to support care packages and food being sent to those impacted by Hurricane Irma. Again, I volunteered with my team, and we we were able to put together so many packages to send. As you work, they play upbeat music and have amazing representatives who are there to help you in any way. They are such a great non-profit and I would definitely recommend donating - or even better - volunteering with them when you get the chance!

What an amazing organization! They are a well oiled machine when it comes to figuring out how to package thousands of meals within hours. My husband and I volunteered with them to help package 500,000 meals with the Loews hotels. We were at the Hard Rock hotel and had a blast. The hour flew by, we enjoyed meeting new people, putting our time to good use, and knowing that thousands of meals were going to be delivered to areas in Orlando, Haiti, and the Bahamas. I will definitely look for more volunteer opportunities with this organization! They are organized and efficient, the staff are energetic and the cause is 100% meaningful.

I love participating in packing meals every year with Feeding Children Everywhere through Loews Hotels. Really proud to be part of Hard Rock Resort Orlando (A Loews Hotel). Years ago we partnered up with Feeding the Children and boxed thousands of meals. We then challenged our Sister properties to do the same. Over a decade later we have packed millions of meals right here in Orlando. This year, during Thanksgiving week, I volunteered at our sister hotel, Cabana Bay and it was wonderful!
