I can not begin to say how much I love and trust this shop. They were more than accommodating summer of 21’ when my ac compressor broke due to an auto collision and my insurance was being very difficult to work with. They were so supportive the whole way through and did a great repair job with my ac.Fast forward now summer 23’ and my compressor broke again. Elite went to bat for me and got the wholesaler to honor my warranty bc it was still under 2 years old but over the warranty mileage. Needless to say my AC is back to NEW!! Thank you Elite Auto (especially my girl TINA) for having my back and being a truly honest, fair and trustworthy shop. 10/10 recommend.

The fact is that this was our go to shop because of the former staff and owner. My husband and I always brought our truck here to this shop to be repaired. I guess the pandemic changed businesses and business owners to be extremely unkind towards customers who have been coming to them well over 6 years. I was told one thing by Ryan the Service Manager about the repairs for our vehicle the day it was towed to their shop. The next day the Owner Don called me and told me something totally different from what his Service Manager Ryan said. If a business owner can not communicate with his service manager and technicians to be on the same page when it comes to repairs our vehicle. I will never ever refer any of my family members nor friends to the business for the simplest automotive repairs. I did not appreciate being lied to regarding the repair for our SUV.

Don and his mechanics do great work. He helped me find a part I wasn't able to locate for years. My vehicle hasn't run this good in a long time.

I had taken my car to two other repair shops. Either of them knew what was wrong with my car. It was misfiring to a point it would stall but then would act normal. I then took it to Elite to get some help. Don was very helpful knowledgeable He went to work trying to figure out what was wrong my car.He kept me informed on a regular basis. It took some time but because it was a 97 toyota with 58,000 miles with allot of orginal parts that needed replaced. If you need a honest company who cares and knows what they are doing this is the place to go. I will be doing business with them in the near future because they did such an exceptional job!

I've already written one review prior about my positive experience here with these folks and again I am writing one as they have been so good to me . Don genuinely cares and they go above and beyond to take care of my car . I've had to have a lot of work done lately and they do such a fantastic job . I will never go to another mechanic as their customer service is the best . They are closed on the weekends and to accommodate me, Don came in this Saturday morning to finish fixing something that another auto repair shop messed up ! I highly recommend these folks, you won't be sorry

Elite Automotive and Don were excellent. Our AC wasn't working and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. They kept us informed and had it completed when promised. AC is running cold. We are very happy with the service!Service: A/C installation & repair

Originally I gave Elite Auto a 5 star, however we noticed on our final visit the staff was not as friendly, cost increased and just didn't have the same customer service vibe that we experienced in the past. We later found out that the original owner was no longer with the mechanic shop.

This was my second time using this shop. I appreciate their honesty. I didn’t feel haggled. They fixed what needed to be fixed and didn’t try to scam me into unnecessary repairs. I definitely recommend if you have any troubles with your vehicle.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I called a day ahead to schedule an oil change and was told that with my 8:00am appointment that I could be out of there by 8:45 latest. Upon arrival at 8:00am I waited around for 15 minutes until the shop was open. I was told by the receptionist that my front driver side tire was flat and asked if I would like for them to refill it with air. I said sure. I handed the receptionist my keys, made a coffee and sat down in their lounge area. 8:45 came and went, no one came to update me. I sat around and waited until 10:00am to get up and ask for an update. By that time the mechanic was pulling work van back into the parking spot. Turns out there was a nail in my tire and they had to patch it. I am completely okay with this and I prefer to have it patched, however I was never informed of my tire having a nail in it prior to them fixing it. So there was an extra service fee that I was not aware of or expecting. The receptionist then proceeded to mistype the bill for the oil change and charged my card $12,000 instead of $120. Thankfully I caught the mistake as I was signing the receipt. I had to explain to him twice that he mistyped the receipt before he fixed it. He reassured me that it would be refunded (and it was) but I have a hard time looking past the very blatant lack of regard for customer service. Whether my feeling of dissatisfaction comes from being misquoted service time by over an hour, by not being told that they would be patching my tire, or by the mistake made by the receptionist; I can say with certainty that I will not be using Elite Automotive again.

This is the second vehicle I have owned that I take to Elite. They are always profesional, honest & straightforward about repairs needed for my cars. I just purchased a new (used) van and they looked it over. Gave me great news & explained some needed maintenance that would be upcoming. Think twice before using this company! I have used this company for years and up until about 1 1/2-2 years ago, they were awesome. However, I began dealing with someone new there, and something changed. The last couple of times I have taken my car in, I have felt taken advantage of by both overpricing and taking advantage of, my income during the pandemic, was greatly impacted due to the loss of family members. Most recently, I was given an estimate of about 800.00 to replace a water pump and the intake manifold because it was overheating, but during their work, they sheared off a bolt and I was charged $700.00 for a new timing cover and gasket set, saying that it could have cost me $1360.00, and they were doing me a favor by only charging me 193.00 for a used one. They had my SUV in pieces and knew I was desperate to get it back, so what could I do at that point, right? So, I checked with AutoZone and Discount Auto and they both said that the timing cover and gasket set for my specific vehicle was less than $50, and they were using dealer prices to rip me off. They also charged me labor to go pick the item up after telling me, "Sure you can drive over and get the timing gasket and cover for $50 from Auto Zone, but it probably won't fit and you might not get your car back in time." Even worse, I dropped my car off Tuesday evening and by Friday morning, they stated that they still had not even picked up the timing cover/gasket set yet, and I had desperately needed my car for work since Wednesday. I did Wednesday evening 15 min before closing and asked them to wait on the timing cover so I could do some research that night and then called them the very next morning at 7:30 am and again at 8:01 am to give them the go-ahead. I was told they were leaving to pick the parts up right away but obviously this never happened, no one even called me to let me know of any delays, costing me even more money out of pocket. When I went to pick my car up, I was being charged even more! There were several items listed that I did not approve of, and the estimate figures were being changed each time an estimate was sent via email, but without contacting me. Their estimates are on a website linked to their computer, so an email or text doesn't allow you to see the changes being made along the way, but my phone was downloading a copy each time it came in. This alone seriously upset me since none of the changes were discussed with me and I felt that I was already being overcharged. I was also charged for items I did not approve (their response at the time of pickup was "Well, we can just take them off but it will take even longer. Again, they had me over a barrel holding my car hostage and they knew it.) I also lost a much-needed client due to having to cancel twice and finally referring the client to another counselor due to an emergency, because of their shenanigans (I am a trauma counselor.) I did not even get my car back till Saturday afternoon. So, for 3 days they did nothing regardless of my pleas to make it a priority. I am beyond disappointed that this company has fallen to deceitful business practices, and I will not use them again!

Elite Automotive was a life saver. My battery light illuminated on my way home from work at 7:30 pm on a Friday night. I work in the auto repai industry and the dealership where I work is 27 miles away. I suspected the alternator and was not comfortable driving that far to get it repaired. Saturday morning I spent 2 hours calling around trying to locate a mobile repair or some one local to check it out. No one was available until Monday. I really needed my vehicle fixed immediately. Finally, around 10:00 one of the mobile repair call centers referred me to Elite Automotive but said they close at 12:00. I called them anyway and John said they close at 5. If I could get it there they would check it out, and if they could get the part they mught be able to fix it that day. My suspicion about the alternator was correct. They got the part, fixed my vehicle, and I was driving again that same day! Thank you so much John for the great service! I highly recommend Elite Automotive in Longwood FL!Services: Electrical
