Have been coming to Longboat for many years. Snowbird Parents condo. Right door to Exit Art. Always love shopping there. Beautiful unique clothing and jewellery and wonderful hair clips fill my suitcase for the trip home :).

Unique boutique that has a little bit of everything- funky home decor and quirky home accessories. Simple jewelry that has the right touch of "a twist" to make the piece stand out. Some clothing (shirts, dresses, jeans). The ladies that work there are so fun and happy to help as well! Very fun store

In a somewhat unlikely location tucked away behind The Chart House, you will find this unique womens shop. The store overlooks the Gulf and has a gorgeous water view. The selection of clothing, jewelry, hair accessories and home goods is very eclectic. It seems they have a lot of Italian imported brands. The prices are high end and most clothing items were priced above $200. It was fun to look around, but this is shopping for a very specific kind of customer. Although I was just browsing, staff was lovely to me. I appreciated the little chocolate treats in bowls throughout the store.

I’ve picked up a few pieces in person (all jewelry) when I was living in the area. Now currently live in Boston so I don’t get to go in person but have placed serval orders recently since I’m on a bit of a jewelry kick over the last year. My first online order was last summer. I was so excited to get new pieces from the store. Then the next day I found out I was going out of town for work for a few weeks. Bummed that I wouldn’t be able to bring my new items with me. I sent an email just asking if there was anyway they would make it before I left. Debbie to time to call me and tell me no fears she would get them right out. Two days later I was on a plane with my new sparkles. Top notch customer service every time. Jewelry that is a bit different and out of the box in the best way. I’ve been rocking my link chains for over 10 years now and have no plans of stopping anytime soon.

I am not a person to write reviews however my interaction with Exit Art and the owner Debbie along with Debra was so far beyond what a consumer should experience I felt it was necessary and a duty. I was in from out of town and stopped by their store as part of a leisure walk with a friend. I ended up finding $450 worth of clothing and paid to have it shipped directly to my home with the help of Debra. After two weeks of not receiving my purchase I called the store. The owner Debbie was not able to find my order and said she would look into it and call me back. After several days of no response I called back. No one was able to find my order and they had planned to reconstruct my order from their copy of the receipt. Over the next week and after a series of several confusing phone calls I was told that my order was being shipped to me minus one of the pants I had picked out because they no longer had the pants. I received my order yesterday and not surprisingly it was not correct. I called to talk with Debra about my order being wrong, again, and was met with an attitude and arrogance. As a business owner myself I find it saddening that consumers have to experience this amount of incompetence and disregard in the marketplace today. If you are on vacation in Longboat Key and want to have a nice relaxing stroll through their local stores, I highly recommend you pass on browsing through Exit Art.

Exit Art is a one of a kind boutique offering unique finds and excellent customer service. I shop there for my wife who loves the Zoey James Jewelry and owns several pieces. I highly recommend checking this store out!

Whomever the buyer is at Exit Art, next to the Chart House restaurant, has fabulous taste. You will be amazed at the design and quality of everything, from distinctive jewelry to amazing sportswear. The owner is always there to assist you without being pushy. Give it a try.

I live half the year on Longboat Key and this is my absolute favorite store. At the Chart House location I usually shop with Debbie, the owner. She is excellent at knowing what will work for ones body and knows quickly ones taste. The home accessories feature Alessi and the Italian designs are both sophisticated and humorous. There scarf collection is alone worth the trip and their cashmere doesn't pill and luxurious to wear. The clothes selection is extensive, beautiful and unusual--- no department brands here. Lastly, Debbie's husband creates the artwork in the and it's quirky and executed beautifully.

I have been to both locations on several visits to Longboat. I always stop in to see the French tortoise (plastic) jewelry & hair bobbles. Very unique. They have beautiful clothes as well. The staff is very helpful as well. I bought some earrings, and a designer bowl. I never miss a visit here!
