“Our vet Glenda Paredes is one of the best vets we’ve ever had; our dog can be unpredictable and doesn’t like his parts messed with so we are always anxious to bring him in; but their table side manner is great and the staff is always nice and supportive. We appreciate the love they pour into their care and our dog gets lots of love and treats every time he comes in. They’re good at what they do.”

We came from across town late in the day Dr. B and his entire team stayed until after closing to perform an emergency splenectomy on our dog. His team was so supportive and Dr. B was patient with us answering all of our many questions. 10/10 recommend. “I had an emergency with my kitten Kole this morning and went to Healthy Pets! I have never been there before and they have the most wonderful and caring staff! I would like to thank Shelby and Ashton who are the receptionists they were both sweet and caring throughout the whole experience! I would also like to thank Dr. Tessler who kept in contact with us throughout the morning and explained what was happening with my kitten and the treatment he would need! “Dr. Jesse was the first person to give me hope and answers after years of spending time & money trying to help diagnose my dog’s nerve issues. I only wish I found her sooner. The fact that she sets up her entire exam with your dog by operating on their level - the floor - was such a lightbulb moment. My dog hated going to the vet but she was so comfortable with Dr. Jesse after her first appointment. Your animal will be in loving & experienced hands!”

“We love Margate Animal Hospital. We made an appointment with Cats Exclusive far in advance for a feral cat with a long standing injury. After hours working to trap the cat and driving 30 minutes for the appointment, CE cancelled our appointment upon arrival because their power went out. We would likely not have been able to retrap the cat again who since he was already so tense, so I immediately called MAH.

Mary was so understanding of our situation and squeezed us in within 15 minutes. Not knowing what to expect, we were quickly at ease when the doctor came into the exam room with two techs - one with elbow-high suede gloves and the other with a heavy blanket and cat leash. CE was going to sedate him before examining him and we were worried about it because he is an older cat. But MAH knew exactly how to prepare a feral for an exam without putting him under.

The doctor asked questions to come up with the best treatment plan as we would not have been able to administer oral mediation to the cat ourselves or nurse him since we have 4 of our own cats in our home. We decided to have them keep him at the hospital for 7 days so he could heal. We expected such a treatment plan because of the cats type of injury so this put us at ease as well.

In addition to daily updates from the staff, the doctor provided video and photos via text and responded directly to my questions. Be aware they do ask for payment upfront, but their prices are very reasonable. They also go over a detailed list of costs with you beforehand.”

“Dr. Watnick is a fabulous veterinarian, and the clinic is great too. Dr. Watnick is very smart, patient and kind. He helped my dog quickly recover from an allergic reaction. He has also routinely cared for her and answered all of my questions with clear and compassionate explanations. I would definitely recommend this clinic!”

“Where do I begin…. First I need to give a major shout out to the girl who works at the front desk. I was referred to this vet by some people on Facebook, but her compassion and professionalism on the phone was what made all the difference for me. They were able to take me in on a fully booked Saturday and as I watched patient after patient go in, I saw with my own eyes how much everyone who works here cares for your pets like their own. From the vet techs (excuse me if I don’t know the correct terminology), to the nurses to the doctor.. Just absolutely compassionate and caring souls. Such a happy and caring environment all around. It even smells good in there which left me in shock because usually vets smell like.. well vets… lol. I left a very feral community cat there on a Saturday and called in Monday morning for an update on how he did over the weekend before the surgery was to take place. They told me they gave him his own exam room and dimmed the lights to make sure he felt safe away from other cats (are you kidding me, I love them) but that he was doing good and ate a lot. Afterwards, the doctor sat down with my neighbor who went to go pick him up, someone they had never met, and explained the entire X-ray to her. When I say they went above and beyond, I’m not exaggerating. The people who recommended them to me on Facebook had nothing but positive things to say and now I have nothing but positive things to say. Thank you so much for your hard work Dr. Melgey. I truly appreciate you. I appreciate your compassion during my visit and the love you have for animals. Thank you to everyone who works there, from the bottom of my heart.”

“After visiting several veterinarians in Coconut Creek we finally found one that knows what they are doing and cares for our dog, like we do. Our senior puppy has been struggling with itchy skin for years. We also get some sort of concoction for medicine and shampoo but never an answer. The staff was very knowledgeable and recommended some allergy testing so we could come up with a long term solution to proactively address the issue. Thank you to the friendly and knowledgeable staff at this hospital. Looking forward to many more visits where short and long term solutions are given.”

“Deborah Niedermiller is the best vet I have ever had. She is extremely competent in the care of animals and very sensitive with your pet.
I just had to put my cat to sleep who had an incurable cancer. and she was so kind and thoughtful at a most difficult time. I had her come to the house for the actual procedure. And I am so glad I did it that way.”

“If you're reading this, I'm so sorry that you're here. It sucks, but you're in the right place. Dr. Camps gave me an extra 4.5 good months with my dog. Aside from being a knowledgable doctor, she is incredibly compassionate. While I wanted to save my dog, I didn't want to torture him, so at each stage I'd ask her what she would do if it were her dog and she gave me honest feedback about each potential procedure/method. I trusted her completely and when it was clear we were losing the battle, I refused to make any decision until speaking to her. Ultimately, she helped me make peace with the heartbreaking decision to let him go with dignity. While I wish I had a better outcome to share, I couldn't have dreamed of a better doctor to fight this fight with. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am, I'll be calling Dr. Camps. And Dr. Camps, if you happen to see this, I am forever grateful for the extra time with Cupid.”

“I brought my dog Maxx to see Dr John, he gave him a full examination. Maxx couldn't jump up on the couch where he liked to look out the window.. Dr John prescribed an antiinflammatory medication.. which worked very well. Maxx was his old self within two weeks. I can't say enough about Sunrise Animal Hospital.. the Doctor really cares about his patients and treats them with loving care, he's personable, professional and knowledgeable.. the staff is friendly and helpful.. “Update: I went and picked up my sweet baby today. Didn’t think I would get through it but we did. When we picked up the box I thought I hope it’s not the wrong dog since it’s a huge box. We got home and opened it and we all immediately started crying. The urn/memorial box is absolutely beautiful. They even put his picture already on it with his name and paw print ( I have included below.) I want to thank you for taking the time to go out your way to include a picture that I included on a former review. It was really meaningful and special that y’all took the time to do this. The little things like this is what makes this animal hospital special. They really do care and go above and beyond.I cant say enough about here. I never expected to bring my boy here and never bring him home again when I brought him here. The doctor was amazing and explained this might happen but he will do everything in his power to make sure this don’t happen. Unfortunately within 24 hours Max went from smiling and walking in the vet to not even able to hardly lift his head. Max unfortunately had a huge mass that seemed to be cancer. No one wants to have to put their baby down but I’m glad he is not suffering. The staff was very caring , compassionate and sympathetic . We had to put his sister down a little over a year ago at a different place and it was a horrific experience that is still etched in my head. They did everything completely opposite. I’m so glad they tried everything the could do to try to save his life and not give up on him. Max had a heat stroke Sept 2022 and had a temp of 108.9 and survived even though we were told it was impossible. Max fought his way and survived and we got a little over a year with him more. Unfortunately a horrible disease had to take his life. I would recommend every single person looking for a warm caring compassionate place that will take care of your baby like their own this is the place I promise, you will not regret it. Oh by the way I forgot the pricing is very good. I will never ever use another place again and will continue to tell everyone about this amazing place.”
