If I could have given him no star I would have. He is mostly rude and has no customer service skills when you go there but thank God his store is not the only store in town to get the Jamaican/ Caribbean items we need. I will never set foot back in his establishment. A few weeks ago I called to find out the price of oxtail and it was pricey so I said thank and hung up, then I thought about it and said may some goat me would be nice so several minutes later I called back to enquire about the cost of goat meat and the man and the hang! Then ofcourse I thought it was an error so I called called back only to my surprise no answer. I waited a bit called again no answer, so I asked my cousin to dial the number from her phone and he immediately picked up! I told him he was rude! and I would never buy from him again! He said thank and hung up the phone. There is Good to Go and Festival supermarket closer in town with way better customer service for those who have been having the same experience as myself. We don't have to put up with the disrespect and outright slackness of this man!

If you’re looking for a variety of Caribbean foods and groceries this is the perfect place, lots of items that are hard to find in other places.

Great store, cheap prices, but beware of being scammed, I asked for the price of an item and was told it was 3 for a dollar, once handed the item they changed their mind to 2 for a dollar, once I was paying they mentioned 2.11, how in the world did a price of 3 for a dollar go to 2.11 I know it seems like 2 dollars is nothing but its obvious they do it all the time, great store but not an honest one

It's always a pleasure to shop at Salnave. I get to do my shopping for Haitian items that I cannot find anywhere else. I love to support fellow Haitian/ local businesses.
