So they sold me a 2012 mazdaspeed3. He told me it only has an issue with second gear. Which was okay. I could get that fixed. BUT... they didn't tell me how many problems the engine had. Blow rings in two valves, head gasket leak, and that's just the beginning. Getting the car, they told me I couldn't drive it home with their tag on it because it wouldn't be covered by the insurance. I said okay. I rode with them. They didn't know how to drive a manual transmission and kept stalling it out. Then the battery dies. They had the bright idea to put a jump box under the hood without latching it. So driving down the road, the hood Flys up, smashes my windshield, bending both quarter panels, and bending the hood so it can't realign.. the lady tells me she will give me $200 to fix it.. (It cost me $500 to fix it, mind you). But didn't they say before we left the dealership about coverage with insurance.. nope, nothing. They got me a new battery and 200 for the windshield.. I didn't buy the car with all the body damage, but they sure pushed the title fast. They did me wrong. It was a straight lemon, but sadly, in Florida, no lemon laws on used cars. So I got played. Charged me $4880 for the car, almost $600 to start insurance on it, and then the impact fee to get plates.. and I'm out it all because they sold me a car that was pretty much blown up and they stuck gear oil in it so I wouldn't notice.

They sold us a lemon kept the car for over a week wouldn't help us when we needed it car broke down multiple times have only had it for 6 days still waiting on the car.

I’m the owner of lake auto we want to say thank you for all the good reviewsWe work very hard and try to make everyone happy but there are times when that is impossibleIf you are reading are reviews you will notice that are bad reviews are written by the same person or their family member They have given us a few bad reviews for the same purchase this was one of those impossible times I will not go into details about this but we did try make them happy but sometimes that is impossible but please read all the reviews Thank You

My husband and I went to Lake Auto with a car we were thinking of selling to them. After I explained how much I had put into the car from another mechanic and was still having issues the owner offered to look at the car for me. He fixed the issue I was having, and his wife guided me to services that enabled me to keep my car. He charged me a nominal fee for looking at the car and fixing the issue I was having. They helped me more than the garage I had my car at and was nothing but honest with me. I cannot tell you how nice it is to find an honest person. I would recommend them to anyone.Regina Meredith

They sell me a car, and make it look nice and shiny. I was excited, thrilled. But charged me 6,000 dollars for it. Which would be fine, if anything on the car worked. The brakes were already almost dead when I got it. The doors didn’t lock, unless I wanted to be locked out. The trunk didn’t open. The same day I left the lot, the blinkers went out. They didn’t give me a proper tag until it caused me to almost have a ticket. The car would be great if it worked! I was stupid for buying from this place. I recommend you don’t.

I would like to express how I feel about Lake Auto llc and the owners...I gave them 5 stars but would give it a 10 plus if I could. The owners are great people and work very hard to give you the best service and knowledge possible. I've bought 2 cars from them and will purchase more in the future...Great owners and cars are unbeatable...Go to Lake Auto and purchase a great car.

I did write a great review at first then their true colors came out. They sold me an incomplete car always saying I had no gas a lie .This car can't be fixed and they had a deposit on it but still sold it to me. I asked for my deposit back so I could go get another car . at first I asked them to put me into another car. The owner said no because k might find fault. Well ya I found fault with the last car I bought it 2 weeks stop on ,441 in the middle road they said gas they put in three fuel pumps wrong happen a few mores times they had my car from March to July then they sent it out to National madaza they had it for 2 months for them to come up with the car is trashed. The owners husband the mechanic had no idea about this car instead broke the computer ecm ect..... They lied. And I have all the emails and records of this after I realize I was being taken so I would only talk in texts or emails. I'm 63 years old never in my life have I e been treated this way I've witten to the attorney general. Lake county independent car association and channel 6 just the beginning I don't want this to happen to someone else
