There's an old saying that if you want great service and top-quality products, you can't get low prices. I prefer quality and service, so I love Publix. That being said, their BOGO deals are very price-competitive so I look for them. Furthermore, their house-brand products are always very good quality and much less expensive than most name-brand options.

Came in this evening around 7:40pm. William made our subs. He was so sweet and it was the best wrap I honestly ever had!

Customer service is Horrible. When they have buy one get one sales in front of store in a bin it's false. I tried purchasing what they were advertising in bin and I went to bin a picked a olive oil extra virgin same size and the other olive oil in bin was a virgin olive oil but for frying. One for salad or marinade and the other for baking or frying. Both were same size in bin and same brand... The cashier questioned me several times... Even went to bin again to make sure and the aisle it was stored in... Same deal in aisle and bin. Again Cashier argued with me.. ( keep in mind I had over 250.00 dollars in my shopping cart) obviously I wasn't being a penny pusher... after arguing over a stupid bottle of olive oil I told cashier fine you don't have to honor what your advertising however I don't want the olive oil , I have plenty and I was only purchasing it because of the advertisement. The store itself is big, overpriced, customer service is disgraceful and the ONLY REASON I SHOP THERE IS ITS CONVENIENT AND CLOSE TO HOME. Other than that if you have time Shop elsewhere. Winn-Dixie, Walmart are way price friendly and the customer service is Good. I will only go to my local Publix if I'm to tired to drive to a more reputable store that treats customers fairly.

Literally some of the best customer service I've ever experienced in a grocery store - the employees at this Publix go out of their way/bend over backwards to serve their customers. AND the store is always well-stocked & immaculate!

Publix *used to be* the family-friendly grocery store - not these days! Shopping alone without my children at the Hwy 441 Leesburg store, unfortunately, I decided to leave my review of this Publix, and all other Publix stores I've been to in Central Florida within the past two weeks, exactly at the moment their 'mask' announcement blared out. Winn Dixie starts theirs with "Remember to treat each other with kindness..." Not Publix; I won't even bring my children into this paramilitary operation. In the past couple of weeks, I have been darting in and out of Publix's hazard zone as fast as I can, only grabbing up 2-for-1s these days. Gone is pleasant luxury shopping there and picking out everything we need. It is obvious children are no longer welcome there, that started to go with the cookies, and now the fruit basket is gone too, while Publix still trashes their on-date food out of inventory. And forget about this place if you dare to have any respiratory disability. With a huge family, that's a ton of grocery dollars we're bringing to Winn Dixie and other people-friendly stores. Our 'Publix dollars' will be earned back as slowly as will happen with Walmart, although Walmart quickly backed off... while the smaller stores - like Publix - will suffer a larger percentage bite; smart huge retailer reduced the competition. Alternatives abound elsewhere, and exacly where we are welcome to buy for our family's many needs and spend all our money.

Publix has been my grocery store since moving here from Massachusetts approximately 9 yrs ago. The employee are very helpful & friendly. If you can't find something a salesperson will escort you to where the item is or go look in the back room or wherever the foods are kept. Look at the weekly flyer on line & prepare a shopping list.

The deli chicken has gone downhill and one could say the same for the meat department chicken. The chicken used in the Deli's for the fried chicken and rotisserie must be coming from a different supplier as in previous years. This would make sense considering the US has now approved imports from China. With Publix policy on finding ways to make more money for the managers bonuses and employee stock sharing it makes even more sense. The founder is definitely rolling in his grave with the direction Publix has taken. The rotisserie's have gotten smaller and often none of the chicken from the deli tastes like chicken. If that was even possible. There seems to be an undertone flavoring of garbage. If I had to best explain it, the deli chicken tastes old, it sat on the loading dock too long, then it was undercooked, then cooked again, sat out on the counter for a day, then warmed up and served the following day. The bone structure doesn't even look normal and unusual fatty deposits that end up tasting rotten. The fried chicken has gotten to the point where its hard to know if its a breast or thigh. Large amounts of uncooked breading on a single piece seems to be consistent along with a flavor that might be considered chicken.

I live in The Lakes next door to Publix. The Pharmacy is great and customer service is friendly and fantastic. I shop at least three times weekly. They have a great individual that provides a cooking demo several times a week,The store is well stocked. I am use to food lion in the North that I frequent and Publix is on Par with them. The only reason they did not earn a five star was because of their limited selections. As a retired person I do not drive much. I depend on my golf kart to go shopping like many seniors in the Lakes. Seniors try them you will like them and the Mall next door.

I never go into Publix without being greeted Today, five employees took the time to say good morning. Sure, you pay a little more, but you get you money's worth in a sparkling clean store and fantastic employees. As a bonus, they had fresh mince pie today!

I've shopped this Publix location since it opened. Recently, the store went through some massive downsizing. They no longer carry the amount of products they used to. Many items are now no longer on their shelves. They have reduced stock to the most popular basic items only. I'm disappointed. If you need specialty items or something unusual, it's best to shop at a larger Publix. Mt. Dora has a larger selection or Orlando Publix stores.
