We want to thank Dr. Clark and all the staff at Northgate Animal Clinic for seeing our dog Ruby the same morning we called about her ear infection. We are from out of town and so concerned about picking a vet from Yelp reviews alone. The office is clean and well managed. Ruby was given a great exam and treated for her ear infection right there in the office. She is doing much better now. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone living or visiting in the area.

This is Honey B, the kitty here. Stella is my dog sister and she told me about this place. How wonderful the staff is and the Vet was soooooo nice! Stella and I were even seen at the same time! Which made me feel better. And of course we got a treat! Thanks for being so great to us!Much furry love from, Stella Mae and Honey B

Dr. Clark is very attentive and explains the diagnosis in detail. My Newfie Moose was experiencing open sores on his skin and was getting worse . He was misdiagnosed from a previous veterinarian. Dr. Clark put him antibiotics and gave him a steroid injection and he has been doing great. Mooses’ hair is shiny and his skin is clear.

Hands down. This is the most honest, fair , caring and talented VET clinic I've ever dealt with. Dr Clark has taken amazing care of all my families pets for as long as I can remember. Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to take your fuzzy family members :)

This is a wonderful animal clinic with a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian and excellent staff. My mom brought her dog here for years, and she lived to be almost 19 years old! My dogs received exceptional care when they needed veterinary attention while I was in the area visiting my mom as well. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Used to be great but ever since I started coming by myself with my dog the way I was treated was almost day and night. Originally we would only come for a check-up and nail trim but the new techs clipped her to the skin in several nails, despite the past several years I've never had her nipped like that ONCE. Unfortunatel, my baby started seizures and was put on meds I got directly from the clinic. A year into her being in meds all of a sudden there's a back order of these meds. I call a week before her prescription is up (like they instructed) for a refill and then go in to only get one bottle when I usually get two. Receptionist explains they are back ordered and will notify me as soon as they get some. I almost finish the one bottle and call for more. Still back ordered but have same pill in smaller dose. Almost finish with that bottle and I call back for update and refill, still on back order. Told I can pick up a script and get it from, and I quote "any pharmacy, like CVS, Walgreens, Publix or walmart". I get my script and go to almost every darn pharmacy in town just to be told they don't carry that medication and I need to check with Chewy. I'm of course frustrated at this point, call the clinic and ask who ACTUALLY has the meds, told the same exact places, tell them I went to said places, told to check out a local pharmacy in town and that Dr.Clark "knows" the guy that runs it. I go to the pharmacy just to find out they have the meds but can't fill it due to the way the dosage was written. I call back the clinic and tell them exactly what I was told by the pharmacy. They said they'd fix it and would call when I can pick it up. They call. And I kid you not. They call and say "I think you were confused because the dosage had to be written a certain way they do have the medication." Despite me calling and literally telling them the exact same thing. At this point I am beyond furious because I am literally stretching my baby's medication giving her less than recommended just so she doesn't have to go a day without the medication, especially since I was told even her missing just ONE dose could cause a seizure. So not only am I stretching it but at this point I had one days left of pills and was worried I would not be able to get her meds before I had to go in for work that day. Now at this point it has been SEVERAL MONTHS since this medication has been supposedly on back order and now I just call for the script to get the medication that the pharmacy was able to magically have. That's not the worst part. After just a year and a half of fighting her battle she sadly lost. Now years before my family had a dog we regularly took to the vet but she died at our house due to age and health complication. We received a very endearing and uplifting condolence card from the clinic. I did not receive one for my baby and my mother concluded it was because a certain receptionist who did the sympathy cards no longer worked there. No biggie. However last month my family lost another one our beloved dogs due to old age. He was put down at the clinic and... received a sympathy card. Now it may seem petty but considering all of what I went through by myself with my baby it just seems and feels like I was just another dime in the clinic paycheck and they never truly cared about my baby.

I don’t know about the vet, he seemed very competent. His office staff however, are awful people and horrible representatives for anyone’s business. Not only did they me wrong information over three days. They actually laughed in my face while my dog was dying in my arms there. Yes, she was their patient. Then today I get a letter, that I can’t believe the vet actually wrote, telling me my sweet dog was no longer their patient. My dog actually died later that day.
