Horrible service!! The most unprofessional & rudest man I have ever dealt with!! I would WALK before I went through this company again!! Trust me-ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! I wish I could leave ZERO stars but the system won't let me so they get one but please KNOW IT IS A NEGATIVE ONE in my eyes !!

We planned a trip to Paducah Ky leaving from Leesburg Fl on a Tuesday in April. We booked the 12 passenger van 6 months in advance. We called the location the day before 15 times to confirm the reservation but couldn't get the location to answer their phone. Having a confirmation number and having booked 6 months ahead of the trip we proceed. The day of the trip our group met at the budget location to board to van. However there is a problem, Budget doesn't have the van, doesn't know when it will be available or even if it will be available. Keep in mind we have hotels reserved and 8 senior women with luggage that have been dropped off for the trip. When the manager is questioned he strongly feels that it's not his companies fault and has no desire to help locate transport for our group. Nor do they have a single vehicle at all on the lot. He wouldn't call another location or even another company, leaving our group to figure it out on our own. We requested that the reservation stand in hopes the van would be delivered while we attempt to arrange other same day transportation but he optioned to cancel our reservation after two hours. Needless to say we had our trip ruined by not having the van we booked 6 months beforehand. To be clear Budget made no attempt to rectify the problem. As a result lost the business of the eight ladies who will also be sharing this situation with their Large influential ladies group that spans all of Lake, Sumter, Orange County and beyond.

I've used Budget more than once and this latest experience had problems..I usually choose what's least expensive and that ended up costing me more.

Heard the person working the counter last Tuesday, 9/10, being very rude, argumentative and condescending to the customer he was taking care of. I wouldn't rent from this establishment.

I went with my 69 year old neighbor to rent a truck from the Leesburg, FL location a few days ago. They didn't have the 20 foot truck that he reserved, so they gave him a 26 footer, which for an elderly gentleman who isn't used to driving large trucks was very difficult to manage. He was told by the representative in Leesburg not to trust the gas gauge when refilling prior to return and to instead look inside the tank. When told by the Budget rep where to fill the gas tank to, my neighbor asked if he meant the flapper that he was able to see in the gas tank, and Budget confirmed this.

If this is the way budget conducts business, they've lost mine. I've been renting cars for 20 years and never have I been treated with such disrespect in my life. My husband got a call from the leesburg office requesting the vehicle be returned after we had let them know the day of renting we might keep it an extra day. The owner explained to us that it would be $10 more. I rushed back to the store because he made such a big deal about it being returned ASAP. Which is why I rushed over before cleaning the car. Which I always do because I have 4 kids and you know what a mess they can make. He proceeded to complain about the dog hair. Which there wasn't much of, as I had laid a blanket down for the dog because I can't stand dog hair myself. All the while I was trying to express my frustrations with the way he Conducted business and he was laughing in my face. I told him I would be calling corporate and he told me he didn't care. I explained I would have cleaned the car if he wasn't rushing us back he then told me no and to get off his property and don't come back and he was charging me for the pet fee. If he had just listen to my concerns and treated me with a little respect and decency this would have never escalated to this. If there aren't real repercussions I will never rent from here again. I work in the villages and will tell everyone I know about my experience. He needs to know his customers pay his bills and at very minimum some respect is due.

I reserved a 6 passenger van almost two weeks in advance of a planned event. At 9:30 on the day I was supposed to pick up the van, 10 am, Budget called to say that the van wouldn't be available until after 12 noon. The person I spoke with couldn't assure me it would be ready at that time either. I had to make other arrangements at the last minute. Budget had two weeks notice and couldn't make good on time. Won't be calling them again.

Knowledge of size of truck totally inadequate, got 26' when 20 would have been more than adequate.

Apparently they never update their website to on whats available and whats not. Got there to find out that they don't have the vehicle I reserved.
