Picked up lunch at Wendy's and stopped to eat it. Clean picnic tables, clean bathrooms and freshly mowed grass.

FDOT operates two rest areas here and since I know Yelp will merge them, I won't bother adding the east bound as that's the one I patronized today.
On I-10, west of I-75 by a bit, this was a great stop. They do have a sign that indicates "three hour parking" so you can't overnight here. There is the "picnic area loop" around the back where you can find a nice shady spot for a nap and be away from the traffic noises. Plenty of space!
The restrooms are clean and there is an attendant here so I was not at all concerned about security. Just remember to slow down as you're entering the parking area.

OTR: Safe Haven 24/7. Clean, Quiet, good space, security. Bathroom, dog walk, picnic tables, walking trail.
