“If I could give 100 stars I would. The staff at VCA are literal angels. They were the light on our darkness day. My baby Cloud (a beautiful silky soft white cat, with one hellava personality) had a life threatening complication. He was very weak and lethargic when we decided to take him in. I had called around for more than a day and it was let down after let down. Everyone wanted an absurd amount of money for the procedure that would ultimately save Clouds life. We were absolutely heartbroken and it was utterly gut wrenching to see Cloud in so much pain. My husband and I thought we were bringing him in to possibly put him down, we knew we couldn't afford his procedure. Euthanizing him, as hard as it was/is to digest was more affordable and at least he wouldn't be suffering anymore. The ride to VCA animal hospital from Inverness to Lecanto that morning was the worst. We arrived tears rolling, uncontrollably. The vet walked into the exam room, examined Cloud and knew exactly what was wrong with him. (Cloud had a urethra obstruction and was blocked) He said he would save Cloud. They worked with us and our wallet. It ended up being way more affordable in the end. Although Cloud's recovery isn't quite over, there is a huge improvement. He is almost back to his rowdy self, hopefully he will soon be back to his 2am rave parties all around the house. I hope he makes a full recovery and I wouldn't be saying that without the incredible staff at VCA animal hospital in Lecanto Florida. I will be coming back, without a doubt.....”
“They were so kind to squeeze us in right before the hurricane. Thank god they did as our doggie had a post surgery infection. Then they were so professional/kind to call a couple days later to see how our furry was doing. 5 stars for sure.”

“We had our first visit with Dr. Pratt and his staff last week. Our vet referred us to Dr. Pratt for his experience with a torn ACL. Our pup Buddha Jay sadly has one. Dr. Pratt confirmed this was the case. He was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions before we could ask. As terrible of a surgery this is for our little boy, we feel very confident in Dr. Pratt. As soon as we are able to schedule and be set up for the rehabilitation, we will be making arrangements. “It was so difficult finding a good veterinarian in Florida! I love this office for so many reasons. First, the prices are very reasonable. Second, they are there because they actually care about animals, not trying to gouge you for money. Third, they are extremely accommodating and listen to what the pet owner wants. I love that they have a texting feature. They have just always gone above and beyond for me and my dogs. It feels like an old-time country veterinarian clinic in here, not a flashy corporate buyout.”
“We moved here over a year ago. Of course we lined up a vet before we even moved, cause we have quite the crew. Two Golden’s, a Shih Tzu and three cats. Was used to sitting in a waiting room with exuberant Golden’s, and you know the drill. This is not like that. The reception staff obviously loves animals. Both Dr Hoopers will spend as much time as they need with you. They make sure they have answered all of your questions.We are exceptionally happy that they take care of our crew.”

“I'm so glad we found Urgent Pet Vets! My girl-dog got a hot spot in her ear flap, and it became infected the day before hurricanes Milton hit. The few vet offices that were open were fully booked. So, at 2:00, on the day before the second major Florida hurricabe within two weeks, we took her to Pet Vets. The vets treated her ear, and we left with antibiotics in a more than reasonable amount of time. Our girl is doing well now. Thank you Pet Vets!”
