“This is actually my favorite place in this country, I step inside and I can feel myself in another universe, the greatest service and help every time I visit this second home. They hand me week by week one of the most magnificent collection of ancients history books, animals and space exploration that I never wish to have. Also they have amazing books of paintings and photographs, old Maps, antiques, etc.If I could dream of a library room at home this whole place will overcome that dream.About the books, I have no words that can describe the excellent condition of books, very well selected and organized. No matter how much my bill is I always feel like I have a super deal. I don’t have more room for books, and that is the only reason why I don’t go more often. This is really a magical place for book lovers.I also love the pet, a gorgeous cat ?.Many blessings to this family business.??❤️??”
“I will recommend this book shop to anyone who will listen! They have a solid selection, I’ve found many popular novels here and discovered many new favorites. Seriously, I feel like a bandit after I leave with a stack of books for the cost of a medium pizza. I will say the science section is a tad smol but that tends to be the case with pretty much every used bookshop I’ve been to. The shop runners are also really great, kind people and a pleasure to deal with! So proud to have this establishment in my city.”

“I’m an old school book girl who was super excited to find Bob’s gem of a store! I was visiting Fort Lauderdale for a quick getaway and had some time to burn before my flight. I walked to Bob’s books and was so happy to see an “original” bookstore set up. There are so many options to choose from and great prices! I will be back when I am in town. I know Amazon is easier but support a local bookstore like Bob’s when you can!”
“The store is big and well organized but I was really unhappy that they only had 2 copies of the brand new release Oathbound but had stacks and stacks on Onyx Storm which had already been out for several weeks. I wish the store would give more shelf space and prominence to BIPOC authors. It's partly why I am trying to shop more at independent bookstores that feature a greater variety of voices.”

“This store has a lot of interesting books and a large collection of journals! You can spend about an hour exploring everything they have, from Harry Potter books/items to manga and fun sci-fi literature. They also have beautiful stationary for various tastes.

“I figured out the ONLY Pay Membership at the moment is called PREMIUM level membership. The rest of what I figured out is Loyalty- earn and redeem points- FREE membership involving points is great, well, because it's FREE. A weird benefit of buying a Premium Membership for about $39 per year is getting something free for your kids' birthdays. To me that means someone with no children cannot enjoy that benefit while the more children one has the more freebies, though small freebies. Strikes me as a weird scam. This store would be better if 2 things: 1.) It were bigger like it once was, and, 2.) IT had an in-store cafe with treats and beverages as it once did.”

“Small bookstore with only NSU gear and school supplies available for the public. Any textbooks or lab books you have to get from staff (and potentially pay a handling fee). You can purchase items online and pick up at the store.There's a section for snacks to purchase and an outdoor seating area that has some umbrellas.Across from the bookstore's entrance is a small medicinal garden which I think is cute.”

“I would say this is the biggest and boldest of all comic shops, a maze of stuff, besides comics, they have everything from old-time sci-fi, models, toys, comic busts, etc. But their selection of comics is the star attraction, in my opinion. Two huge walls with everything from the past couple of weeks. Then, an awesome setup of drawers with back issue comics in the standard alphabetical order, and 8 out of 10 times, they'll have what you're looking for. Lots of people there on any given day, which gives it a great feeling, like an event, but not too much to knock your concentration. The staff is bug and knowledgeable. With a person manning the back area, in what looks like a comic control booth answering any questions you might have so you dont have to walk all the way to the front of the store.Yeah, it's that big. You can make it a day event with the family.”
