Salon West on West Bay in Largo is the best! Not only are they proficient they are professional, courteous, knowledgeable , proficient and very helpful! I’ve been a customer for over 7 years! Sara B. is my very favorite!

I've been going to this Salon West on East Bay in Largo for several years now. Val is my hairdresser, and I have to say she is the best hairdresser I have ever had. I have some pretty tricky color combinations (purple - yes, purple - and a couple of different highlights, plus letting my own hair color come through) and getting it just right takes some hair wizardry. Nobody ever quite got it just right - until Val. She's the hair magician! Thank you, Val, for everything!

Kudos to Salon West Largo and my wonderful senior stylist, Sarah!! In one appointment, Sarah transformed the mess on top of my head to a tamed, well tailored style I love to this day! She is extremely talented and empathetic! I highly recommend! This studio offers a great and pampering experience from hair care to facials, massages and mani/pedi services! All awesome! E

11/10 would recommend this salon! My stylist is always Sarah Mammolito and she does phenomenal work. She always listens to your concerns and what you’re looking for, but will always encourage you to try something new if that’s what you’re looking for. I went in today to get my blonde balayage and hair trim and decided to go a little shorter than normal with added bangs. Sarah is always fully supportive and guides her clients in the best direction for them. Needless to say, she always knows what she’s talking about! I’m in love with my hair and always have a pleasant time at Salon West. It is a very clean and beautiful salon with a very pleasant staff and a relaxing environment. :)

I had the best experience receiving a haircut from allyson! She welcomed me with a big smile and heard all my concerns and thoughts about my hair, after having a thorough conversation about my goals for my haircut I let her do her work, and she achieved my hair cut goals and more. I will definitely be coming back, she’s so sweet and listens to what you have to say or ask about! :)

It's hit or miss apparently. I started going here when I first moved to this area two years. It seems it was pure luck that I got matched with a stylist who was experienced in what I need. I bleach my hair from its natural colour of nearly black to the lightest blonde. I also go about 3-4 months between touch ups so usually have an inch or two of regrowth. I started doing this about 7 or 8 years ago whilst I was living in Chicago, and my stylist there (who had 20+ years experience) never had any problems bleaching my hair that way. Never had to do anything different than just applying the bleach to the regrowth. She also had advised me to put coconut oil on it prior to the bleaching, as it protects against damage and doesn't interfere with the bleaching process at all. I've found that to be true and very helpful, and have been doing this the whole 8 or so years I've been bleaching my hair. Then I moved here 2 years ago, started going to Salon West and apparently had the luck to find a stylist who was able to do my hair the same as my previous stylist. Well, when I went to make my most recent appointment, I was dismayed to discover she had left the salon. But, I trusted them to set me up with someone new. I mean, I had been coming there for two years, so surely they had my records of what I always got done and would set me up with someone who could adhere to my prior treatment. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. I get there, and my "new" stylist straight out admitted she didn't know how to do my hair and had to cancel my appointment. Further, when I asked them to reschedule me with someone who did know what they're doing, they said it would be a month before someone would be available. Yeah, ok, no thanks, I'll just find a new stylist on my own.

I am a snowbird and very particular about my hair so was not excited about going in blind trying someone new-especially without a referral. Turns out I got lucky. Erika did a wonderful job with my cut and color! She asked plenty of questions regarding what I wanted and really listened. The results were perfect. Would highly recommend!

It’s ridiculous to set an appointment, so I made appointment online then someone calls me leaves a message to confirm I called them back and they said oh the time isn’t good that’s fine and then they need a credit card that’s fine but I was walking my dog so I couldn’t get them a credit card number at the moment I called back to make appointment and they hang up on me so it’s like OK if you guys are busy just just say that you’re not taking any appointments right now!!!!!!!

I had an appointment with Heather yesterday, this is my first time coming to this salon. She did a great job on the haircut I wanted, however, I felt a bit rushed towards the end due to another client waiting but didn’t get the finished blowout style I wanted. My hair is very thick and it requires a lot of texturizing. When I originally scheduled the appointment, I did indicate for more time and was told that I would be charged extra for the time. For a first time customer experience, I shouldn’t have to feel rushed and the appointment lasted for an hour and 20 minutes. Which is not very long in in my opinion and for what I was charged for. For clarity, I wanted to feel happy with the finished style and get what I paid for!
