My family has gone to the Clinic for over 40 years. It has always been a great experience with the Doctors, Nurses and support staff.
But here recently in the past year or so, the Clinic has lost many specialties. Ophthalmology, hearing, physical therapy and others. Apparently the idea is to have a building full of just general practitioners. At least that is what I have been told.
The Doctors I have still there at the Clinic are great, but are overshadowed by what is happening. I was supposed to have seen the Ophthalmologist and scheduled surgery last December. Couldn't do it since the Doctor is no longer there. I have since left the area and no longer have this to worry about.
My thanks to the support staff and Doctors and Nurses that I and my family have had over the years. Sorry but I cannot recommend the Clinic at all. Darn shame.
Well the hits just keep coming. I just got a letter stating that all 4 Clinics will be closed. And a form to request records, but they want specific dates. How about the decades of records from my family and I.
I feel sorry for the folks who will have to find all new Doctors, unless their current Doctors open a new office somewhere in the area.

(Updated July 10 2024)
It's no surprise that the Diagnostic Clinics are being closed down, as of August 2024.
At one time, the Diagnostic Clinic was really top-notch. However, over the years it deteriorated due to short staffing and underpaying their employees.
The Diagnostic Clinic is owned by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Insurance companies strike special deals with large groups of doctors which saves insurance companies a great deal of money while bringing captive patients to these clinics. This forces patients, with no other options, to go to the only place that will take them.
At one time BCBS was the gold standard. However, after the new insurance laws were put into effect in 2010, insurance companies were given carte blanche to become far more rapacious.
The Diagnostic Clinic stands as a stark example of this. It's the crown jewel of BCBS.
I once held an insurance license. For years, we were told that the very definition of insurance was an equal balance of risk on the part of both parties; the patients and the insurance company. But BCBS has now been able to stack the deck against the patient.
At the Diagnostic Clinic, they keep the doctors double booked and apparently underpaid. They certainly staff it with the very cheapest nurses they can find. I've spoken to nurses who aren't up on medical concepts or lingo because they are fresh out of a fast track nursing school and are under-educated. They must have a revolving door because no nurse stays for very long. The moment a nurse can find work elsewhere, they're gone.
If you want to see a doctor, you will wait at least an hour after your appointment to get to see one. And this isn't just anecdotal evidence on my part. I've heard it repeatedly, over the years, from the other patients as we sat grimly in the waiting room, staring at each other and waiting our turn.
Over the years they've tried other options, like a walk-in clinic. They failed, because this is not an enterprise that feels the need to be successful in the classic way. They measure their success by how little they have to pay for each patient that walks in the door.
If you need to list a primary care doctor, find anyone you can outside of the Diagnostic Clinic, no matter how unqualified they may seem, visit them as little as possible, and seek your emergency care at Morton Plant hospital when necessary.

Incompetent and unprofessional staff. My docs team took over a month to respond to a message on the portal. I was also not able to receive a continuous glucose monitor because they would not follow up with my insurance. When the clinic announced its is closing, the staff stopped assisting me or answering messages or returning calls.

I have come here for many years and never had a problem until now. I saw my doctor, Dr. Todd (who is wonderful) and prescribed a couple of prescriptions. Three days later and after several phone calls to the office the prescriptions still have not been sent to my pharmacy. This has never happened before. Today, after talking to a person, she said she was transferring me to a nurse and then she hung up on me. When I called back the gentleman who answered the phone said they do not transfer calls. If this is what this company has become, unprofessional and lack of care for patients, I will never recommend using this company.

I have called 3x repeatedly to find out a doctor's name that was a primary to a family member. 2x I waited a to talk of 9 minutes, both times after waiting the call disconnects. I called patient records to be concerned to same number... Disgusting service for a simple issue!!!

I don’t know why all of the bad reviews. I’ve gone here around 5 times and I’m in and out quickly. The doctors, nurses and staff are friendly and attentive and even if I’ve come in much earlier than my appointment my wait time is still very short. Great place and if your insurance will cover it I highly recommend.

Had a ct lung screening cancelled by largo imaging claiming my drs orders needed updating. They left msg morning of appt that I didn't get. I drove from Tarpon Springs just to find they cancelled. Wanted order to read copd scan when that's not what my plumonologist
ordered or wanted....my Dr said that's not what it's for! Dr ordered ct lung screening....period. Since when does the image scheduling dept decide what scan the Dr wants..And shouldn't they talk to a person when cancelling? My Dr was going to try to deal with this..told her forget it..I will go to Baycare Imaging! I have two Dr's that have left Diagnostic Clinic within the past year and now I know why.

Well, I am editing this as it is the end. Diagnostic Clinic will be permanently closed as of August 31st, 2024. The only thing I will miss is the amusement of reading all of these very accurate, but terrible reviews.

This place is the worst, the the staff was told this week they have untill september and then they were out of work,, guess they finally ran it into the ground, this is what happens when you have non medical people owning a medical facility, no clue about patient care. yes Diagnostic Clinic is closing ALL LOCATIONS Sept of 2024.

Worst experience ever at a medical facility. After being led to believe I hv cancer, they overbook and cancel my appointment? I sd I'll wait all day. I need to get these tests done today or I just would forget I ever had the first test and not treat it. She sd okay. We can't get you in, so that's fine. They wd rather let CANCER go unchecked than find a way to squeeze you in to a pre scheduled appointment. If this sounds like a good place to you, go ahead but just be aware, they don't care about their patients AT ALL.

They have terrible customer service. Do not go here. Find somewhere else to go. The Front desk give misinformed us and completely wasted our time. An appointment was made to remove stitches. The doctor doesn’t even know how to remove stitches. They scheduled a visit to charge insurance instead of letting us know that they are unable to perform when the initial appointment was being made

I have been going to diagnostic clinic for 30 years. Overall my experience has been great. Recently the last 5 years or so has been lackluster. I've had to request Drs to search a little more into my issues I've had, nursing staff will call me with results and not even look through my file prior to calling me and the final straw was I had blood work done, had multiple abnormal results, and wasn't even called to go over the blood work they ordered for months. I had plans to seek care elsewhere as it seemed that I needed a specialist and luckily already had one that I had used for other concerns. I requested phone calls back and the nursing staff advised me everything was normal despite my blood work being quite the opposite. Finally on the 3rd call I get some answers on the questions I had. And what do I get? Told that Dr Reid no longer wants to see me. Just because I want answers to the questions I had surrounding my health. Dr Reid and her team are nice as long as you don't have new problems come up. If the recommendation is to go elsewhere I was happy to do so I was just trying to get help and feel better but because I bothered them too much, keep in mind I do not care if the conversation would have been through email, I get told I'm the issue. I got medication for my issues that have been happening for over a year and finally starting to feel better overall. Dr Reid continually tried to push a diagnosis on me and after thousands of dollars in testing surprise it wasn't that issue it was something else and she couldn't handle being wrong. In my opinion the practice has just gotten too large to actually help it's patients and the focus on short appointments is practically impossible. Continually 45 mins late into appointments with any Dr and very abbreviated care. I'm excited to find a new primary Dr and continue to feel better after getting actual help.

Dr. Katie Reid is a fantastic physician and someone I can trust! I feel 100% safe in believing in her expert recommendations on behalf of my wellness. I fully appreciate Dr. Reid for her expertise, professionalism and extraordinary ability to provide me the best possible care so I could feel better and live life to the fullest. The entire staff from the check in process to the nurses and assistants are amazingly friendly too, and always prepared for my arrival at the Diagnostic Clinic..

New Ownership! DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS FACILITY.
I have been a patient with Diagnostic Clinic for OVER 15 years. My primary care doctor is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, patient and thorough. The specialists I have seen have all been extremely good. HOWEVER...recently Diagnostics clinic has come under new ownership and management. STAY AWAY. The new owners seem bent on destroying the practice. My insurance company has not received a single authorization request from any of my doctors within Diagnostic Clinic since November 2023. Even though my doctors are convinced that they are sending them through and are being denied by insurance....This only happens with Diagnostic Clinic. Every other authorization request from every other doctor has been received by the insurance company and approved! Obviously, there is a break in the chain of work somewhere within Diagnostic Clinic.
Also, I have been seeing the same Gastro in Diagnostic Clinic for over 12 years. 7 years ago she cut out some pre-cancerous polyps and I am now on a 5 year re-screen. I just called today to schedule my 5 year follow up and was informed that Diagnostic Clinic upper management has instructed schedulers to deny appointments to any patients who have not seen the doctor within the past 5 years! Can you believe that? I follow the schedule that the gastro set for me and the new management will not let me set an appointment because it has been 5 years!!! True story! STAY AWAY, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!
