We had them box up an antique roll-top desk and ship it. Family heirloom. Sad to say, they boxed it up poorly, no support under the feet, and the legs all popped through the bottom of the box and into the pallet's air-space. Desk legs ended up skewed to the side, with the nailed-on back of the desk popped off.
Surprised that no wooden parts seem to be actually broken, and hopefully a craftsman will be able to repair it.

This was my first time using this type of delivery service. Maggie was awesome at coordinating my delivery. Her follow up and ability to answer all of my questions truly exceeded my expectations. I had them ship two very fragile lamps and both arrived safely and were packed unbelievably!!! I also considered another vendor who was comparable in price but extremely thrilled i went with Craters & Freighters!!!!

BEWARE- I contacted this company for an estimate to crate a marble top to a standard household end table- just crating , no shipping- I contacted three companies for quotes- when I received the quote from Craters and Freighters I thought there was an error it was OVER 667.00 to crate a marble top for a standard household end table! So, I called Charles who I originally spoke to and asked if there was some error as the quote was more then THREE times higher then any of the other quotes I received- his response was the quote was correct-again I re-stated my disbelieve and asked why the quote was so high... he laughed and said "that's just our prices". So I'm posting this review to alert others who may consider this company to AVOID them. They are more then three times higher then local competitors. Save your money and do your homework! AVOID this company and there OUTRAGOUS prices.
