Called in advance to make sure there was open gym got there and said that I was wrong and didn’t call the right gym poor customer service. This wasn’t the first time very disappointed!!

I got a week membership here while on vacation in the area in winter 2023. There seemed to be a lot for retirees, various classes for older adults and activities to connect with. Definitely an older crowd. It was cool to see so many folks engage in an active living lifestyle. There was a woman who said she was in her later seventies sharing the shoulder press machine which was impressive. Also interesting, there were all sorts of people ages 65+ all decked out with tans, fashionable gym attire, full make-up, so maybe this is the place to be to meet that partner later in life, haha? Reminded me of a college gym in that catwalk sorta way. Some decent free weights, benches, squat rack. Lots of cardio. Tons of parking. Staff were alright. They seem kinda bored or distracted when I talked to them to ask questions ?♂️.

Grateful for this gem in my neighborhood. The staff is LOVELY. Classes are full of positive energy. Facility is squeaky clean.

I went to the YMCA for the summer at starkey elementary. It was horrible. Mostly because of this group leader named Ms. T , she would hit kids with water bottles to hurt them if they didn’t not listen. She threw one at a girl next to me, it hit me and she told me to hit the girl next to me. I said no and she asked why I was so nice. She also hit my friend on the neck with one to hurt him because he was talking.she also told another kid if he wanted to be next. A girl asked for a napkin to clean her spilled milk and she told her just sit in it. She also told me that I was dumb and she was shoving kids in the corner facing the wall. She would not let a 5 year old kid use the restroom before a field trip and he had an accident on the bus because of her. She also thinks she has the right to tell kids to not come back for a week when she’s just a normal group leader. She is one of the reasons why my summer sucked there this year.

I bit small yet overcome by the opportunity to being more available to those who know exercise as not being a life option. That still is the lone vestage of the original YMCA focus.

Wonderful people, very clean and plenty of equipment, childcare is excellent!! It is a bit small, but it’s a great place to workout!!

This Y is fantastic! It’s clean & bright with windows that look over a manicured pond. The equipment is clean & in good repair. Staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable!

No need 4 a pool, great staff, clean facilityI luv it, everything I need 2 keep my body strongEven when busy, I move thru machines w/o much difficulty. Great place ?

Such a great facility, really lovely staff. Honestly. I WOULD highly recommend just based off customer service. It's small but well kept inside, has lot's of different machinery to compliment any workout.

The Y has been a HUGE blessing in my life while living in FL. It got me through the disorientation of moving from MI, connected me with new friends, and allowed me a place to challenge my body through fun classes.
