I couldnt recommend Dr. Zellner more! Definitely a vet I can trust to care for my cat. She caught something other vets didnt and i couldnt appreciate her more for that (anal glands being clogged)

I couldn’t recommend this place more! After being referred around and going to 2 different places I ended up here as my 3rd stop. I wish this was my first stop because the problem could have been recognized for what it was and addressed faster.Unfortunately, my piggies had ovarian cysts. The issue was worse than previously thought and my little baby didn’t make it after the surgery. After talking to the vet, I truly feel like my guinea pig was in the best care possible. It was a difficult surgery and they had pride in their work. I know they did everything they could for her. The veterinarian was so compassionate and I’m really appreciative of how the situation was handled.My second guinea pig recovered perfectly and I was given instructions on how to care for her as she was healing and losing her cage mate. ❤️This office is a bit of a drive for me, but I’m planning on making appointments here for any other future needs - it’s worth it!In my opinion, skip Blue Pearl altogether to save time and money.

I went to the specialists for a walk in because I was told the day prior that their exotic pet vet was in, after waiting 2 hours I was told they didn't know if the vet would have any time to see my pets and they gave me a referral sheet. After this I made an appointment somewhere else, they referred me back to Blue Pearl so I made an appointment. Both locations told me the issue was not an emergency and I had time to make a decision. Blue Pearl gave me a referral list and I chose Avian and Animal Hospital. I scheduled the first appointment a couple weeks away rather than going elsewhere sooner because we didn't realize how bad the issue was. I was able to schedule surgery asap after having an appointment at Avian & Animal. (The vet also thoroughly felt around for abnormalities and recommended I get them spayed asap) In my opinion, skip Blue Pearl altogether to save time and money.

Dr Z and team are amazing. By far the best vet experience we've had and we've had many... So lucky to have found them. As the name suggests, especially great if you have birds.

Always professional and kind. I was greeted very fondly by a green parrot at the door, and we were checked in quickly. We took our cat in for a checkup, and she was treated with care. She even seems happier afterwards!

Dr. Z is the only exotic vet I would ever go to. Her knowledge is amazing and she is compassionate and will go above and beyond for you. I am very proud to have known her since 2014. Although my recent exotic passed she knows I'll be back. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
