All I wanted was a routine dental cleaning and establish a relationship with a dentist. What I got was a 2 hour visit with nothing but x-rays plus examination. What I got was a recommendation to have intensive cleaning under the gums but NO cleaning of my teeth. This recommended procedure would be around $1800 which they said they could do at that time. This would take an hour. So basically I was there for a 2 hour upsell to an expensive procedure which wasn’t covered by my insurance. I walked out. I’m sure I need what they recommended, but they did the typical. Sell on the person’s fear and want payment right there & then. No time to think about it.

Was not impressed from the moment I walked into the office as there was a strong pungent smell that lingered through every room. The staff was nice, but I feel this practice is creating false conditions to rake in revenue. I'm 44 yrs old and NEVER had any issues outside the occasional cavity. My gums and teeth are so healthy that ive managed to keep two baby teeth that i was told i would lose by the time I was 21.I had a laps in cleaning for a year due to insurance issues, but even at my last check up I had no issues. Yet a year later this practice tells me I have periodontal disease that's effecting my bone. Yet I have NO symptoms, no bleeding, no tenderness, no pain. NOTHING. They showed me a little redness around a couple teeth, which mind you they had just shoved a thing in my mouth SEVERAL times to get xrays, hitting those gums. They said I couldn't get a normal cleaning because i needed to have the gum disease treated. Then I was told that at least one of my teeth needed a crown now, due to the filling I have getting worn down AND then I was told I needed invisiline because my bottom teeth were hitting my top teeth and causing wear. Again something I have NEVER been told. I was then taken to the financial person who told me that just for me to get the "special cleaning" would be $1234.00, the crown $300 something and I didn't even bother to look at the last number. I will be seeking a 2nd opinion faster than they can process this claim.

I had a new patient intake today and it was impressive! They got me in promptly (only had to wait 2 days for my appointment), were professional & courteous, and got me thru the process efficiently and quickly (full xrays and exam with a very nice dentist!) - I am so glad I switched to Aspen Dental!

I had a broken tooth, an hour & a half later with only X-rays done, finally saw a doctor with an option for going forward & wasn’t happy after the length of time, had to re-register on paper, their IPad did not save my original. It was one mistake after another & cost me $185 for a split lip from the X-rays still with my broken tooth! Would NOT recommend this office & would give it a minus star if there was one!

Yesterday I had my third appointment at aspen dental in largo, each time I go in they are some of the most lovely people to interact with. From the front desk to the very back each person was caring, sweet, and helpful. I want to say a special thank you to the hygienist (Allan) and the dentist (Jennifer) their words of praise and affirmation is unlike any experience I have had at a dentist before, they both talked me through everything they did before and during the process, and the work they did was great as well. I told one person at the front desk on my first visit my preferred name and pronouns and I have not been misgendered nor deadnamed once in the entire time I have been there by any of the staff. Over all the best experience I have had at a dentist office.

It was my first visit to the dentist in some time and I will definitely be going back to this location. The office staff was so nice and handled a fully lobby with ease. When I was brought back to start my exam, they walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood everything that was happening. I learned a lot about my dental health. The entire staff was eager to help me on my dental journey and I am so grateful they are passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their patients. I am so happy to be apart of the Aspen Dental family ?

I was with this location for a few years with no issues, I came in last January for X-rays to get a root canal/crown. After the X-rays, I tried to set up my next appt, and I was unable to because of a “system outage”.I then proceeded to call and leave voicemails for over 2 months trying to pay my X-rays, trying to set up my root canal, they were my first dentist as an adult and the only ones I trusted.BIG MISTAKEThey answered the calls about once a week telling me the systems were still down. I even called a different location and tried to pay my bill through them, they said it was not possible bc the bills are location specific.In the end I lost my tooth waiting on Aspen Dental, I now have an amazing new dentist but unfortunately due to Aspen Largos neglect, all they could do was pull it. Aspen had given me a treatment plan costing about 12k and I was on board with it, but due to the lack of communication I ended up paying 50$ for an extraction from a different dentist and then they had the AUDACITY to send me to collections. I got the letter today. I TRIED TO PAY YOU YOUR MEASLY 70$ FOR MONTHS…then get hit with this.Do Better, cause this is not okay.I would give 0 stars if possible
