Transmission builder nice, he explained to me thoroughly everything that needed to be done in the process of rebuilding my transmission. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. I really appreciate it the lady up front in the office. She also explained everything to me. A lot of times when I would go to a mechanic shop they never really are transparent but at All tech transmissions I found a whole different experience I give them a 10 out of 10!

Husband brought his car there and they did more damage then repairs.
Also the lady Kelly who works in the office, is a complete control freak who needs to be in charge of everything, do all the talking bevause she works the techs like slave labor, and she's incredibly rude, unprofessional and all messed up on some kind of drugs slurring her words. I have the voicemails to prove it.

Office manager and owner and technicians are very professional and super attentive no wonder they have been and continue to serve the pinellas county area and in my opinion the best repair shop you can choose. Thank you so much everyone!!!

My car was having issues going into gear.. I brought it up there hoping that they were honest.. I got a call after the diagnostic and Kelly told me that my transmission needed to be rebuilt and it would be 2800 plus cost of parts to be replaced.. luckily it was over the weekend and I had time to talk to other mechanics to see what they thought the problem was.. 2 mechanics told me over the phone that it was probably just my shift linkage.. that's without seeing the car or doing a diagnostic.. when I went in on that Monday and talked to her in person she continued to try to sell me on the transmission rebuild.. I told her to let me pay the diagnostic fee and give my car back because they couldn't give me an itemized estimate and I wanted a second opinion.. I told her I talked with a couple mechanics and they said it's the shift linkage.. that's when she went on to say that they found that the shift linkage was messed up as well.. they said they could just fix that if I wanted for 460.00.. I said go ahead because the other mechanics I spoke to said they were too busy.. needles to say, I got my car back and it is fine.. so they wanted 2800 plus parts to rebuild transmission when it was the shift linkage for 460.00.. so not go to this transmission shop as they will lie to you and having you spend unnecessary money that not everybody has..

Had a transmission issue with my car. Came in and they did diagnostic and told me it was my gear cable. I've been to other mechanics which overcharge and charge you for service you didn't need. Kelly was very honest with me about what was needed.They were able to get my part in quick and got me back on the road soon thereafter. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Very disappointed. Took a bench job to this shop. Had it rebuilt in 2 weeks (not bad but they said 3 days originally). Put it in only to learn, drive was in first gear, neutral kept switching position, reverse was gone. Got the truck in drive, drove one and a half hours to their shop on their request. Told them it was missing gears multiple times. A few days in they called and told us it was a neutral safety switch failure. (That only affects what gear/ how it starts). Reiterated that it's missing gears. Then they said they forgot the roll pin for the shifter. After that they changed their mind and said they don't ever take them out for rebuilds. That they never said they "forgot it". They parked/got the truck stuck behind their building for 3 weeks and forgot about it, even though they were telling us what was wrong. 3 1/2 weeks in, they decide to go drop the trans pan to tell us that the gears were welded together, that the fluid was black and low. That it needed another rebuild. Told them to put it back together and we'd come get it. They called and apologized and said how sorry they were, but that it was because the shifter cable wasn't adjusted properly. Come to find out, the only removed the tran oil pan and told us all this was wrong. 3500.00 down the drain because their guy had no idea what he's doing. Owner even told me how he was in the field for ten years, then left it only to come back and get staff that quit on him. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Be wary, know your stuff. Getting a rebuilt transmission for less than we paid him from monster with a 3 year warranty.
Let's add for their response as every negative review refuses to acknowledge any responsibility. My last call with them was recorded. All the stuttering and change in stories recorded. The transmission had 16 quarts of oil added to it, your husband even said on the call that 2 qts low wouldn't do what you're implying. As much as you'd like to blame my husband - a former diesel mechanic you're non-certified tech didn't check his work. Alltechs idea of checking their work was putting air through the system. Emptying all trans oil and putting 5 qts of black oil back in. Let's go back to the shift cable - your tech is so good he told you a cable that's never been replaced was new? Sorry, no. The cable was the same one that was on it before. No where did I mention warranty which you seem to focus on - instead my focus is your shops shoddy work and subsequent blaming on others. The rest doesn't need a response as it's above in the original post, and again it's recorded.
Update* taking transmission out now. Missing 2 bolts on transmission pan, moving shifting linkage in the side of the transmission and it is not selecting any of the gears. What else did they break.

I came in with a trashed transmission and was surprised how expensive it was. Kelly and the mechanic explained the process and helped me to understand what it was about. They communicated consistently and kept me up to date even taking care of issues that had nothing to do with the transmission. Thanks guys.

I visited this place awhile back and was asking one of there technicians a question about my vehicle and the female manager came out yelling at me telling me that there technician was busy and that they had to get back to work. Very poor choice of customer service.

AllTech was great! I brought in my BMW 7 Series since I had a transmission issue and they fixed it up as good as new. They were very transparent and professional about what they were going to do with the issue I had and provided above & beyond service! Definitely recommend!!!

Brought my F250 Diesel Ford Truck down from Lake City. Had my transmission rebuilt with Heavy Duty reinforced parts. My experience was absolutely wonderful!
