ADT was good in the beginning but when it comes to service and parts replacement on their system it's ridiculous! I was passed around to 6 different people including but not limited to Eszar, Christina, Wilkin and Jasmine with absolutely no results and a two hour plus wait time! We were promised a new sensor magnet during our instill while covid was amoung us. Part was never mailed as promised, yes I consistently called to remind them. Now they want to charge us 160.00 for a small magnet that should have been included during initial install. We are looking for reliable alarm company if any one has recommendations! Sorry about the rant but good service is extremely hard to come by these days!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. I wanted to cancel our service. I was forced to call as this could not be done online. I was placed on hold for approximately 45 minutes. When I finally spoke with a rep I was told that even though ADT cannot get our system to work properly (we cannot trust that when we leave the house and activate the system, that it won't go off when there is no break-in happening). Every time we leave the house the alarm goes off! We therefore have not used it for months and months. We have had several techs come out to fix it and they cannot. Even though we cannot get the system to work properly, we are still being charged under a "3 year contract" that we were tied into during COVID, and we now have been charged hundreds of dollars "cancel". I would understand holding to the contract if the system actually worked. But it does not work, we cannot get it to work after multiple techs coming out, and we are still charged. This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Part of my job is assisting others to relocate and I would never recommend ADT, in fact, I encourage people to stay away from ADT and direct them towards other alarm system providers.

ADT Pulse sucks and their customer Service is horrible, I have had them with my company for a long time and I'm about to drop them. All of their customer Support is from India and after 2 different people the 3rd hung up on my because I was to the end of my rope

I've been a 5 year customer and would never use this company again. I've been paying for a door camera for 5 years that has never worked. The installer put in a google camera but said they would soon replace with a better ADT camera but they never did. Trying to call ADT is a nightmare -very long wait times and you are frequently cut off with no return calls. I asked for a refund for services not received but instead I was told I will be billed $2,000 for cancelling.

Worst company to get a hold of a live representative. Sales people never call you back after sale. Accounting is in another country and they don’t speak English. I’m going to post a negative review everyday until a representative follows up with me.

I call adt on the phone because my son forgot his house keys and came thru window we expected the alarm to go off because the senors that did not happen when I called the company they sent out a technician. The technician wanted to sell me new equipment. I’ve been with them since 2016. The technicians name is Rocko manginilli I I told him I don’t want to buy new equipment just change the batteries and make the equipment that I have work. He said it’s our job to sell u new equipment I told him I was under the assumption that it was your job to protect are house he said he was going to go get it new equipment since my equipment was not working He’ll be back in 15 minutes. He never came back. I overheard him talking to someone else on the phone and he said I’m gonna go to a different customers house that’s ready to spend more money again his name is rock manginelli out of the Largo office at 11401 Belcher Rd. to true Thursday I don’t care all they wanna do it so you know equipment I’ve been their customer since 2016 giving them $50 every single month. Their equipment doesn’t work instead of fixing it they want to sell me new equipment when I tomorrow wanna buy a new equipment I heard them say they’re gonna go to a new home or someone will give them money, please don’t get hustled by these guys

Robert Cunningham is giving me my first good sleep tonight! Got my system installed today and LOVE IT!!!! We went with the system and Google camera in the backyard! Richard Barrett did the install and was very kind and professional! He stayed until I was comfortable with all the settings! I think I will take his advice and get a camera on the front of the house too! I highly recommend this team!

Tech was to be there from 8am to noon on Friday. Move my jobs to 2pm then noontime hit the tech is a no show so I move my clients to Saturday still have 3pm and 5pm jobs. Tech shows up at 2pm my whole day is shot. If you say you going to be there at a giving time please be there or cancel and move it to another day. The money lost to me on that day would have matched the install fee. Not off to a good start

Quite unsatisfactory. Very poor audio and sound quality. What really bothers me is I was told if I refer people I’ll get a $250 Visa card. Nearly 6 months has passed and they refuse to send my card. They got new customers out of me, but they didn’t hold up their end of the deal. Every time I call they transfer me around and around and no one addresses my concerns. Between this and the poor quality cameras I’ll be cancelling my services with them soon. There’s nothing I hate more than liars and cheaters. I expected more out of a billion dollar company

My wife and i built a new home and ADT "threw in" their version of a Ring camera. It worked fine for the first year or so but lately it has been complete GARBAGE ! I reset the camera myself SEVERAL times. It would work a day or so then go offline. Then i "deleted" the doorbell and "added" the doorbell to our network like the ADT technicians do. Same thing, ie worked for a day then went offline. Finally we called ADT and they sent out a technician. What did he say ? "This doorbell is an older model and to be honest, JUST GET A RING DOORBELL if it keeps giving you problems. That's what most our our customers have been doing" You heard right - the ADT technician said GET A RING DOORBELL ! We are under contract with ADT, but once that runs out we will be looking at OTHER home security options......

They LIED when I "purchased" the equipment 2 two years ago when they said I could get transfer "my equipment" free of charge when I move. Well I had to move and they said no we do not do that. You have to purchase a new package and equipment and BTW the equipment is leased. I said why can't I take the window sensors, etc. to my condo and they said no, they will not work there if you change your address. So, goodbye LYING ADT forever. I will find another security service.

I have been an ADT customer my entire adult life. I have utilized ADT in every home I have ever lived. The equipment and technology I had installed at my most recent home system from ADT has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare. First of all, their doorbell camera is a Google device so you need a second app, Google Home, on your phone, to even view it. And you need the ADT app to control your alarm if you do not want to use the keypad. The connection for Google Home is hit or miss and the customer support ADT provides for Google Home or the doorbell camera is terrible. Google Home is supposed to be able to control my smart locks and I cannot even get it to do that.After an unfortunate incident at my home, I came to realize that the camera equipment I purchased does not meet my needs. Their outdoor cameras do not offer 24/7 recording, the clips recorded are about 30 seconds and then the cameras have to reset for 30 seconds before they will record again. Good luck investigating any incidents that take place at your home with technology like that. If you want 24/7 recording, ADT attempted to sell me $1,400 worth of equipment to do it. Included in that was 1 camera.I signed an additional services rider on May 29 and after the unfortunate incident on May 30, I called in to cancel my ADT service on May 31 and return the equipment and have ADT honor their 6-month guarantee. I was told someone from my local office would reach out and no one ever did. I have been given the runaround ever since and no contact from a local office to assist me in cancelling and returning the equipment. When you call the main line for ADT, you get transferred to numerous departments and no one is able to resolve your issues.In an attempt to get a resolution, I have had to file a complaint with the BBB. Very disappointed in ADT.

I just had an ADT alarm system doorbell and camera installed.My salesman Michael Sanchez from the Largo Fl office was so professional and detailed on the entire process.Any questions I had I would text his personal phone and he no matter what day including weekends would always get right back to me.Thank you so much Mike for being a very professional and honest salesman.We are more than HAPPY!!!!!! If you are adding a security system and choose ADT anywhere you obviously aren't paying attention to reviews. I'm canceling my account due to selling the home in question. Cancelling is basically impossible. I've been on hold for an hour - spoken with four representatives two of whom said they would process the cancellation but instead, they pushed me back to the main customer care loop. This is an illegal business practice. It's like Hotel California - you can never leave... I will never ever be an ADT customer ever again. Reviewed updated post swift response by ADT to this review.
