Just wanted to give a big shout out to Neely Auction. My Mom passed away in May, 2024; my job of emptying her home of 25 years was daunting. Mark Neely arrived at her home the first day I was there and very professionally assessed what items he felt he could sell.To my relief, he was able to take those items away with him that same day. He was a pleasure to work with & I would highly recommend Neely Auction to anyone wanting to sell items of value. Thank you Mark!

Mark is a very nice guy, however he does not advise you on how his system works, he places a minimum base price for whatever is being offered and whoever places a bid at the base value takes the ítem.
We took some very valuable pieces, some were items valued at 8 thousand dollars that he sold for a couple of hundred dollars, he sold valuable paintings for less than the cost of the canvas, brush and paint, ridiculous!
When the items were picked up, he reassured us that they would not be "given away" yet this is exactly
What he did - we would have prefered to give the items away to have them sold for a pittance.

Wow! Just wanted to give a shout out to Lorie and her team at Neely auctions. First time I have bid online with them and it was a great experience. They were quick to invoice, pack and ship the serigraph I won and ensured it was on its way with the shipper. Arrived well packed and in better than expected condition. Could not have gone smoother bidding from completely across the country.

HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I placed a pre approved bid and the auction ended at the maximum bid that was placed in advance of the auction. Regardless of the successful high bid, the auctioneer did not honor the preapproved bid and hung up the phone rudely. The auctioneer runs on multiple platforms with no accountability or integrity for the bidder or the bidding process. If you are going to do this, I would think you would fully disclose this in advance and be able to explain how your high bid is not the high bid. This is a small time low level auction house of little consequence, but I would avoid using them to buy or sell with.

Mark Neely is professional and gets the job done. Can’t say that about many service providers. So glad I’ve got him working for us.And, his Associate Danny L and his packing staff are also exceedingly efficient and courteous. Thrilled with their work also!

Excessive handling cost for in-house shipping. Three watches shipped in a small USPS Priority Flat Rate box. Neely added approx. $40 to the actual shipping and insurance cost.REPLY TO RESPONSE: I did reach out to you looking for a more economical alternative and was simply told that the 3rd party shippers you listed would be even more and that customers always call you back for shipping after checking rates with them. Your shipping cost may be less than a 3rd party shipper, but that is their business. Are you in business to make a profit on shipping? I can understand adding an amount in addition to actual shipping and insurance costs to cover your shipping costs, i.e., employee labor, etc. But $40 is excessive for a small package.If you will re-read my review, you will see that I stated that an additional $40 approx. charge was ADDED to the ACTUAL COST of shipping and insurance. I went to the USPS website to calculate the actual USPS shipping charge including the cost for insurance to cover my entire purchase from your zip code to mine. What you charged me was approx. $40 above that.

Very impressive seamless service. I have to say, the folks at Neely are incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. They were incredible with facilitating transport of my large fragile item for a reasonable cost. Great working with them and I'm looking forward to their next sale.
