Sue is great. She is knowledgeable and if she doesn’t have something in stock, she will get it right away. I’ve been in the saltwater/reef hobby for 20+ years, and it’s always good to support your local businesses. I can tell she really cares about her business, the animals, and is willing to go the extra few steps to take care of her customers. I’ve been going to her store since she opened and enjoy seeing new things every time I go in. Thank you from a loyal customer.

Sue is an amazing owner that goes out of her way to offer her experience and advice for both fresh and saltwater folks alike. Always my go to spot for all my hobby needs. Small place but if she doesn't have it she's ordered in for me.

Just stopped in the store earlier today for some reef rock. I’ve been keeping fish tanks for years and we’re starting up a nano tank for some son. The people were very friendly and helpful. The place was really clean and well stocked. They have really good prices. We’ll definitely be back in once the tank is cycled.

Great place. Fair prices. People don’t understand that they own a store front and things should cost a little more. Especially because you see what you’re getting and all the fish are healthy.

Edited to answer the questions in the reply- I have been two times and each time you just sat there. There was no one in there but me and you. Fair- I don’t know you are the owner- I only guessed from the other reviews.Good selection but good luck getting the owner to acknowledge your existence when you come in.

Decent place for your aquarium needs but way overpriced. Dry goods aren't to bad but the fish are kinda ridiculously priced and all their shrimp are always dead at the bottom of the tanks. Don't get me wrong the ladies working here are friendly and knowledgeable tanks are well taken care of. Just way overpriced on almost everything. There are other local fish stores you can get the same great experience and quality for half the price

My issue here is not with the store, the quality of its products, its cleanliness, or even its prices. In fairness it’s clear the owner is knowledgeable and obviously cares about the well-being of the animals within - this is the one quality I appreciated during my visit.What I did NOT appreciate was the appalling way in which she treated and spoke to the young man working in the store with her. He was kind and helpful, doing the best he could to assist while she spoke to another customer. The moment she concluded her conversation, however, she approached this young man and was insulting, degrading, demeaning, and just flat out rude. I was mortified for him and the way she berated and verbally abused him. I was so uncomfortable in fact, that I could not have left that store faster if I tried.How you run your business is exactly that - your business. No one can observe or critique the way you treat your employees when no one else is around. But to treat this young man as horrendously as you did IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS is truly reflective of your character and professionalism (or lack thereof). I truly hope that young man finds gainful employment elsewhere as soon as possible. For him I wish nothing but success and happiness in the future.Your replies to other reviews are also telling. I have no doubt ‘Ms Snarky’ will have some passive-aggressive retort or a feeble attempt at a witty come-back. I hope whatever it is makes you feel better. But what you really need is to DO better.

I have been a previous customer of this store, I have bought fish, plants and Seachem Flourish excel for the live plants. The Seachem I usually buy from Amazon but wanted to support Sue, the owner. The Seachem I get from Amazon is crystal clear, hers was black for some reason, I felt uncomfortable using it. The next bottle I got from Amazon was clear. I will not purchase this product from her again. On 5.5.2023 I bought two swordtail fish from her store. The water in the bag had a green tint to it compared to my water, which is crystal clear. I acclimated this fish to the water for thirty minutes and then put both fish in the tank. The next morning, 3.6.2023 one of the swordtails was dead. I got the receipt and took the fish back to the store. Sue, the owner of the store, was upfront when I walked in. I told her I had bought two of these from her yesterday and this one was dead this morning. I had the receipt in my hand which she didn't even look at, and asked her what kind of guarantee she had on her fish. She point blank told me, none, I would have to test your water. My water is fine, I haven't lost fish in so long I can't remember. I was not about to drive all the way home to get a water sample for a fish that was less than five dollars. I told her thank you, that's all I need to know, I will never buy anything from you again, and I won't. I will not ever step foot in her store again for any reason. She has no business sense at all and doesn't stand behind her customers. You make your own decision, mine is made based on what I've seen. I will find somewhere else to get my fish, most places will stand by you at least for one day on a fish you purchased from them. This lady lost a customer just like that. Obviously, she doesn't need the business...
