If you need to sell your Boat you can trust these guys. Kind of sucks these days but don’t trust anyone I gave them my boat they promise me $32,500. When they handed me the check it was $1000 plus more. Clearly it was just the way they did they didn’t say a word definitely honest businessman a highly recommend someone in your boat here.

We bought a boat from here. We put a down payment on a Monday to hold the boat. Asked them to look through it thoroughly to see if it needed to be fixed in any way. We would pay for any mechanical work since they do work there on boats. We trusted them to look through this boat with the expectation that we would pay for any fixes to the boat. We were told only the springs on the trailer needed to be fixed. I called them every day to please do a thorough look through on the boat since we planned to take it out that Sunday for Mother’s Day. I wanted to even know the small things as well that were wrong to get everything fixed all at once. They said we were safe to go out but to bring it back the following week for the springs repair on the trailer. When we came back to give the final payment on that Friday and pick up the boat we saw the tires were dry rotted, one of the tires were leaking grease and asked for that to be added to the springs to the trailer quote. They didn’t catch that somehow but we did…. They mentioned they would not let us leave the lot unless the trailer is safe and legal to take in the road. So they let us leave. When we got home the left trailer break light was out. Luckily we knew how to fix that and did so ourselves and ended up not getting pulled over for a ticket. Once we got out in the water Sunday we got it into the water and had the shifter get stuck a few times. Thinking it was just a fluke we went to ride it out only a couple miles out since it was the first time taking it out we didn’t want to go too far. We went to a sandbar and when it was time to leave the shifter was completely stuck and we could not get it into neutral. We ended up having to get towed. Costing us $400. I called them Monday morning (keep in mind I have only had this boat a little over 48 hours and first time taking it out) to let them know how upset we were we had to be towed on our first time out when we trusted them to look thoroughly through the boat and only requested to have our tow reimbursed to us to make things right. They refused. I didn’t expect them to fix the boat since it was “as is”, what I expected what for them to be honest and truthful about the boats health. I would’ve paid for whatever it needed. And asked for their honest option of the boat was safe to take my family on it. It was certainly not ready to be taken out and we got stuck with our family and another family with children aboard who were all terrified of being stuck on our first outing. They are not honest and they are not trustworthy. They wanted that boat off their lot and put all of us in danger. And refuse to make things right by not reimbursing us the tow fee. They offered to fix it with no “profit” attached. We all know how that works and they would’ve added the profit within the charges. All I wanted was the fee reimbursed to make it right. I would not buy here or get your boat fixed here. Ever. Worst experience especially if you plan to have family on your boat.

Trustworthy! Recently purchased a new house & really had no room for my 22ft center console so I dropped it off and asked them to sell it. Ben made selling my boat a breeze! It wasn’t long before I was walking out with a check & they sold it for full ask! Thankyou!

Selling a boat through Land O Lakes Marine is a great experience. It was smooth, effortless and at a reasonable cost. Dave is very professional. The facilities are spotless. It is a simple process. Bring in the boat. When sold, bring in the paperwork, and walk out with the cash. If ya gotta sell one in the Tampa Bay area, this is the place to go.

I’ve been a boat owner for years and I’ve dealt with quite some boat dealers.Obviously when you’re negotiating prices and deals, there are some tensions among the people involved in the negotiation; however, for the first time ever, I didn’t feel that “tension” during my visit to this place. The guys/owners at Land O lakes Marine make you feel at ease at all time; you won’t feel pressured or felling you’ve been pushed or waiting for the “used car sales catch”…If you’re in land O lakes/Lutz/Wesley Chapel area and looking for a friendly boat dealer, this is the place you need to go. They’re going to guide you and walk you step by step during your negotiation. You won’t feel pressured or uneasy. Believe me, I tried couple of them in the area and you’ll feel the discomfort as soon you walk in the door.I’ll refer these guys to anyone who’s looking for an easy boat purchasing!

This marina sells boats on consignment and doesn’t respond to potential buyers. I’ve been texting and emailing for weeks and get no response.Response: I offered $18,000 for a $21,000 boat, which is not a lowball offer. I received no counter offer. I have asked you countless times about what the seatech technology means in the ad and have gotten no response. I’ve emailed you from other email accounts with the same question and have gotten no response.

Do not go there to purchase a boat!I don't feel there business is legal.Don't trust the Son in law what ever you do, he's as shady as the come.There are plenty of other dealers in the Tampa area. Why go somewhere where your going to be cheated.! I have filed a report with bay news 9 about them. Will see what happens with that.

What a great company!!! This is a family run business that treats you like you are part of it! Our 2021 239 Sea hunt has exceeded all expectations. We added a good amount of extras and JP and his crew made sure we got everything we wanted! I did my homework and without a doubt JP offered us the best prices. Andy did a great job giving us the run down of our new boat! Dave the owner delivered the boat to our marina!!! It was all around and amazing experience for our family! We also traded our boat and they were more than fair with that as well! JP is officially our boat guy for life!!! Thanks again to everyone at Land O Lakes marine!!!
