discovery golf cars used the wrong battery cables on my golf cartUsed the wrong size battery cables hard to squeeze 600amps thru stock 6ga. Battery cables could have caused a fire or damaged something and they now have costed me over $1500 cause now i have to get a whole new navitas 600amp controller

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have purchased 3 golf carts since 2019 from Louis and recommended many friends and family that also purchased carts and all had a positive experience. He has gone far beyond the sale, I rarely recommend any business unless they are exceptional. Best pricing, best in resolving any and all issues after the sale (titling for street legal use tags and insurance at a great rate) If you are looking to purchase a golf cart these guys do quality work. In 2019 carts were modified to be custom lift kits, tires, rims , lighting and sound systems the quantity of workmanship is second to none.

Had cart listed on market place at one price. Called to confirm. Said they have 3 in stock. Got there cash and trailer on hand. No one came out to talk to me. I went in asked for help they said the price of the golf cart was a 1,000 more than it was listed as on line. Same exact cart. I walked away there loss.

We just purchased a 2024 Evolution D5 Paladin 2+2 from The Land O Lakes office. Claude and Mark are great salesmen to work with, very patient and knowledgeable. Tim delivered the car and was very thorough in going over every detail. I would highly recommend this dealership for any golf car you are considering because they have excellent customer service and are very knowledgeable

So far, we've been extremely pleased with Discovery, Land O Lakes. We highly recommend asking for Mark if you are interested in a golf cart. Mark is very informed, patient, personable, very proactive and most importantly honest. Integrity in a dealership is what we were mainly looking for when purchasing our D5 Maverick. Am assuming their service, if needed, will be equally as positive as the purchasing experience. Thank you Mark/Discovery, We will be recommending you to others within our community.

Don't bother calling their service department for any questions. Lady up front won't put you through. "we don't do that here", "I can't let service on the phone" is what she said.You don't do what? answer potential customer simple part questions???? This is basic customer service.Every parts department at any cart or car dealer or any manufacturer of anything for that matter you can talk to parts or service. I literally called 3 other cart companies before you and picked their brain on the pedal set. Every other company was super helpful, especially Mark at Good Guys carts. NOT Discovery.

very poor communication. we paid for new parts and didn't receive part of it. we had to ask for it then they delivered it to us as used with no explanation. we reached out several times with no reply. also found out it was left outisde in the rain for a month. hate to give one star with this review but when we reached out and inquired about the used parts and it being left outside, they didn't give us any reply. very shocked to have been treated this way. would never recommend them at this point.

For some reason my tail lights aren't working. I checked the manual and there's nothing in the manual regarding a fuse panel. On Thursday I called to find out if in fact there was one the woman who answered the phone didn't know the answer and was not real excited about finding someone to help me. Today Friday I stopped by I spoke to a Salesman who told me he had no idea as he is just a Salesman. At that point I said well I'll walk next door and talk to somebody there. Just as I get there I guess it's the manager comes out and just jumps in my you know what. Let's just say he was less than cordial. I don't think they were going to go bankrupt by me asking a simple question that the guy was in the process of answering when this Yahoo showed up. Needless to say we had a little discussion afterwards and I left. My recommendation to you is don't go to this place once they have your money they don't care one thing about you. Incidentally I had my receipt in hand. There's another golf cart place right down the street I suggest you go there you might get some better service and some more agreeable people.

We called them to replace the battery in the golf cart. They provided two options: a standard battery or a lithium ion pack battery. They said the lithium would require no maintenance and would make the golf cart go faster. Despite the high cost, we selected this option due to those features plus longer warranty. When they dropped it off after putting in new battery they gave us a plug in cord only. They DID NOT disclose that the lithium battery drew higher voltage and would need a separate breaker. We plugged it into our garage outlet and it blew the GFCI outlet and messed up all the wiring in the garage. This could have caused a fire. We were given no instructions or informed of the need for a special breaker to charge the lithium battery.
