“I should’ve made this review ages ago. I have been taking my two dogs, Maggie and Cooper here for almost their entire lives. I absolutely love this place. They listen to pet owners, validate concerns, and treat pets like they are their own. Every employee is kind, professional and clearly loves what they do. I lost my Maggie last week and it happened at another vet. Ark still took the time to send me a card with the nicest handwritten messages from the staff. I really can’t recommend this place enough.”

“My 16 year old Pekingese Zeus had a large hanging cyst behind his right knee which was bothering him. I brought him to Animal Medical Clinic recommended to me by my son who said they were wonderful with his pup. They treated us very enthusiastically and despite his age said that he should handle the anesthesia and surgery well. They would keep a careful eye on him. Scheduled surgery for 5 days later. Zeus had already bonded with everyone in the office. Dropped him off and 4 hours later they called for me to pick him up. He recovered fast and healed very fast. I am so satisfied with the results and so is Zeus. I would highly recommend this Vet practice.”
“We use Kathleen Animal Hospital for all 4 of our dogs. We've had great experiences with them. Our pups have had minor problems that we were able to slide into appointments for. Thankfully, nothing major, but no doubt they'd be able to handle it. The staff has always been friendly to us. They are straight to the point and explain what stuff will cost, which is appreciated.”
“I love what they do and the services they offer for low cost spay and neutering..However they are quick to upcharge you for services/ items..Some are mentioned at booking others are not until you arrive that morning for the surgery, basically leaving you no choice but to accept them..I mean $20 for a cone collar is a little much, considering that you can purchase a better version than the one they sell for $8 on Amazon...Again I love what they do for fur kids, but they need to be more transparent..”
“Always been very happy with their service but this past week we boarded our cats for about a week we came back were told that one of our cats had diarrhea. About 3 days prior The problem is they didn't even bother to clean her up she still had poop all over her tail and her legs I feel like they could have at least wiped her off with a wet nap very unhappy.
They should treat animals that they've been entrusted with better than that

“Dr.lockheart and his staff are all so kind and awesome! They were very fast and efficient. They were able to take my dog in for a visit as a new patient the same day that I called them! Dr.Lockheart Was great, Thorough, and patient at answering all of my questions! I will be bringing my other dog back here soon, and I am very excited that we chose pet care on Highland to be our dogs primary vet. There prices are very affordable as well and they have annual packages which i thought was very cool!!! :)”

“I love this clinic and personnel everyone is so nice. I have been visiting them since 2017 and continue to use their services still. The prices are so affordable. I resue cats near my aunts home they make it possible to get them vaccinated and spayed neutered. I highly recommended this clinic. Just wish there were a location closer to me in Hillsborough county.”

“That was my first time there. I was looking for waterless shampoo for my cat. I ended up getting wipes as a replacement, cuz they were out of the shampoo. The person that helped me was very nice an helpful in showing me where things were that I was looking for. They have all kinds of things for your pets. You can even take your pet to the store an help them pick out their toys. I really enjoyed my time there. It was very nice.”

“Many thanks to all the staff and now family at the North Polk Animal Hospital!! We were looking for a new vet when we moved to the area as our 16-year old best friend was seeming to take a turn for the worst. The professionals at North Polk provided excellent care for Nano and continue to do so as he’s making a sharp turn towards better health! They explained everything in detail with his diagnosis and what to expect moving forward. It’s been almost 6 months since our first visit and he’s doing so much better! “I've been coming here for a number of years. Dr Stansbury is a cordial and very likeable doctor who has a knack with animals. The staff is great and they seem to know every animal that comes into the office. The only downside to this vet (and I'd suspect all of them too) is the phone service. Sometimes they get very busy and you have to wait a bit.”
