What a difference with Regal Lakeland .. long review, but certainly hope worth the read (especially since I do not normally take the time post-sale to share publicly).
I hate the car buying experience. The researching, the narrowing down on options, reviewing what you can afford vs what you want, gearing up for the several stage sale volley and trying to be oversold on what's not right for me, but what's best for the dealer and sales associates and financier. I prepped, but was a little beat down by the time I was ready for the initial conversation. I submitted my interest via world wide web .. and ready for the headache. I'm in sales, so I am more than ready for this ache.
I was not prepared for this outcome.
I was connected with Leah Gorman (both by immediate email and phone call). What an absolute pleasure of a human. She was so welcoming, asked me some questions and followed up with next steps and next persons I would be connected with including their tenure with the organization and what each person would be a support with. Okay .. okay .. I feel better.
Next comes Michael Boswell and Darrel Montgomery in sales. Michael ran front of the house conversations while Darrel ran back of the transaction support with specific vehicle inquires, pictures, getting the vehicle in pristine condition / presentation. In "negotiating" pricing with Michael, it was transparent and comfortable and felt that he heard where I'm at and worked to not push more, but actually heard what I needed/wanted and if we could make it work, great; if we couldn't, let's discuss what's best for your next options (with them or otherwise). We pretty quickly came to a verbal agreement! Great, but now I have to deal with the financier upselling stuff, promoting excessive APR financing, etc. I'm ready.
Nope, got connected to Jared Plummer who for sure gave me options, but heard me and understood exactly what I wanted and didn't want and was quick to act on my requests. He presented valid options; I just knew the direction and money I wanted to spend and there was no unwanted extra pressure (that would've had me drop the whole process tbh). Jared got me over the hump and to my end price. Perfect. Now onto actually getting my car delivered (since anyone in Florida knows what it would take to go to/from Lakeland - Clearwater and back during rush hour).
In comes Carlyle with Carpool Logistics. Super prompt communication and we're all set for delivery. Clearly a bit jaded from past car-buying experiences, no doubt, but this felt different, left me impressed and would certainly buy from them 100% in the future. Highly (highly) recommend this dealership.

Purchased a certified used Kia Optima from them 2 years ago. Been having issues since, but went to go try and trade in to get something newer and was told because of all the service and the roll back of the odometer I can't trade it. Now still having to repair this car, I can't even trade to get something more reliable. Yall stop buying cars from Regal on Bartow rd. They are a bunch of hungry commission grabbers. All they want is your money and selling lemons.

The used car side have gangsters for managers,specially the big bold manager. After we bought the car we came back because it has body damages and they sold it to us as perfect condition. They even have a false Carfax that read no accidents. We complain and they treaten us . So I spoke to the owner and he help us but did nothing about his croons used car managers

Today could have been a very stressful day for the maintenance of my CR-V, but thanks to Leo Garcia my experience was very good, because he explained to me the entire process of the 30,000 miles of the car, thanks to him, the Honda maintenance team and warranty service for the good service.

Don't. Just don't. Worst service and management in the business. My family has owned dealerships in the past. Serious housecleaning would occur if they had a dealership running like this. Customers not listened to and told they don't have the ability to perform basic repairs in the vehicle when they never even met you. Kia corporate needs to yank the license from these idiots immediately attached video shows aftermath of "repairs done to the vehicle 45 minutes after picking it up when I told them it wad a different issue, but the tech insisted I was wrong

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. Incompetent techs who don't know how to read a work order, looking at you, Nathan Rodriguez. Management is of zero help. Been without a car for almost 3 months due to incompetence. Paid $1,709.93 to last me 300 miles after I told them what the issue was and was told it wasn't. They admitted their mistake, but want me to pay to replace the engine. No. Just no
