Warning to all in the area of this POD company.I try to give as much grace where I can, but this facility has provided TERRIBLE customer service for us today!! They dropped a POD on Tuesday while we were not there, and picked it up on Wednesday. *ALL GOOD* Then today they were dropping the second POD and called to say we won't drop it because no one is here to sign the waiver. NO one told us we had to be there, and just two days prior they dropped a POD with no waiver being signed. NO one ever told us we had to be there during any of our conversations. Now they won't return for nearly a week, and we've spent money in other areas to prepare for this move, but the biggest frustration is that there is no direct contact number to work with this Lakeland warehouse. If you can't speak with anyone locally that is a major problem! We had the ability to be at the property within 15 minutes of the call from when the driver shared he would need a signature to drop the POD. Instead, he leaves and takes our POD back to their yard, and from there, we can't get ahold of anyone to discuss that we have movers showing up to empty the POD. So frustrated!!

I contracted with PODS to move out of state. My POD was supposed to be delivered to my new home on a specified day in March. I received a call saying my POD was delayed and they wouldn’t or couldn’t tell me where it was. They did not know when it would be arriving. I had nothing. Minimal clothes, no bed, kitchen supplies, food, bath supplies, etc. I had to change the date that the movers were coming, but that was hard to do because I didn’t know when the POD would arrive. My friend that made the 2-day drive with me had to change her return plane ticket. I had pets with me so not easy to find a hotel. We slept on the floor. VERY uncomfortable at 59 and 61 years old.I spoke to a POD representative and was told to save my receipts for the things I would need and I would be reimbursed. That was 4 months ago. I have been trying to get reimbursed ever since. I not only sent my receipts once, but twice at PODS’ request. I was not told what happened to the receipts the first time. I was told my expenses would be covered. Now I cannot get anyone to call me or email. I have not been reimbursed.I am very disappointed in the service I received from PODS and will tell anyone who asks that I would not recommend them!

I have had pretty bad experience with Pods so far. I have waited on hold when calling for a total of at least 6 hours. Today I was on hold for 1hr and 49min (photo attached!!) and actually still never got anyone. I actually don't know where my pod is located. It took multiple calls up front to set up delivery to my new town and it says it may have been delivered there but then has a message to call to schedule delivery to my new location! So I have paid over $4000 and my stuff is in a container somewhere that I have no idea and no access to, despite them saying it would go to my new location in 7-10d and I could make appointments to access my stuff. The pod left my prior location 3 weeks ago. They have to fix their phone system! It is unfair to be in the possession of people's entire belongings and not answer the phone or have any way to speak to anyone (online chat never has anyone available).I never write reviews but my experience has been so bad I had to take the time to write this one to warn people!

I ordered 16ft container in August or beginning of September. Two hurricanes hit October 2022 and due to that pods was charging me triple the amount because they were out of storage space. I was supposed to have my storage dropped off in the back of my home or the garage and because of the water they said they were not delivering any containers for a while. That was fine by me but why am I being charged three times the price because of that that is a natural disaster FEMA was even in the state of Florida. After a while they were charging me almost $800 a month which was ridiculous because it went from $200 to $800. Then they set my things to auction making me have to pay thousands of dollars to get my things. These people are thieves. Their drivers are unprofessional... The driver that was delivering my container said he was going to be right back because the truck was behind him and drove off and never came back next you know I can't get my things. Go somewhere else don't use them. It's ZERO STARS FOR ME.

I had a Great experience with PODS! All the delivery drivers were on time and super helpful and friendly. The Pod was in great condition and everything made it across the country in one piece! Costumer service was easy to talk to and they were able to work with me when I had some date changes. I would highly recommend shipping with Pods and would do it again.

I had pods delivered on July 26 it was supposed to be picked up Aug 16 but they never scheduled it, again was supposed to be picked up Aug 23 but was not. I ended up having to pay an extra month because of this. Finally was picked up Sept 1 over two weeks after I moved out of the house. I contacted customer service and spoke with a manager, she said she would open an investigation to see what went wrong and would call back never heard from her again. Over the last month I've tried to resolve this issue but no one calls back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The storage containers themselves are awesome the customer service not so much. Takes an hour and 8 phone calls to even get through due to being hung up on and disconnected, they can't assist with billing dates and most people you talk to are so rude they have no clue what they are doing and repeatedly just transfer you

I rarely ever write bad reviews but this one is well deserving!!!! I have used PODS several times and for the most part have been highly satisfied until my most recent experience. I work for a large company that has reps moving all over the company and because of my experience I refer every singe one of them to PODS when they move, but that stops now!!!! In January of this year I was told I was being transferred so once again I call PODS to get me moved. After I loaded and scheduled my pod I found out that I would not be moving to California after all so I called and cancelled the move and told them to just hold my pod in Az and I would pay the storage on it. In April I found out for sure I would not be moving so called to have the credit on my acct for the transport charges just applied to my monthly storage fees. That is when I was told my pod had been move to California anyways!! So I filed a dispute and was told someone would reach out within 24 to 48 hrs…. Did not happen! I call back a couple weeks later and spoke to a lady who said she would escalate it and someone again would be in touch with 24 to 48 hrs….. again nothing!!! So I call back again they sent my specialist an email and finally I got an email stating that Lindsay Payne was assigned to my case and if I had any receipts for reimbursement please send them and to call or email if I had any questions but it was busy season so it could take up to 30 days to resolve because they had to review phone calls. So I waited patiently past the 30 days and heard nothing from anyone. I called back again only to find out that she had closed my account with no resolve and left a note that if I called in to email her!! What?!?! I’ve now been waiting 3 months at this point and nothing has been done again mean while I have been calling and emailing Lindsay with zero response!! I finally get ahold of her supervisor Walter who stated it was unacceptable and he would find out what was going on. After being on hold for over a hour I am finally told that he spoke to her and he was going to transfer me directly to her so she could get it taken care of but surprise surprise when I was transferred it went straight to her voicemail!!!! Now I am furious because I cannot get ahold of anymore that can help me I’ve been waiting for this to be resolved for over 4 months, I’m in my new place with a suitcase and an air mattress and they want to charge me almost $1600 to move it back 350 miles!! When it was only $4xx to move it there. This is absolutely the most unprofessional thing I have had to deal with from a moving company ever! I am to the point of contacting an attorney because I need my belongings and no one at this company that can actually help seems to care. The customer service reps have been amazing but they only have so much authority so I need someone who can actually do something to get ahold of me!!!!! My acct number is #139803699

There were no surprises when it came to billing, and it was reasonable in price. They were on time on each of the moves. Using PODS, it gave us a month to move in instead of trying to use something different that would put us in a time constraint.

This company I would emphasized is the word the rep on the phone used that word 15 times My experience was horrible I had two pods one came 8:30 AM I hired off thumb tack 2 movers these two were awesome had the first pod emptied in couple hours. The driver who dropped off the first pod said he would get the other one meanwhile tic toc no 2nd pod. I called they said 1:00 so that’s doable no pod till 3:15 I called pods the gentleman was rude to me and basically said he couldn’t and would give me any kind of compensation so I give them 0 stars just ask alot of questions if your using this company

It was easy to order, they delivered the POD to my house and picked it up when I was done. It was a painless experience would definitely recommend if you are planning on doing a home renovation.

The worst. They will NOT tell you how it really works until you are signed up and need them to move the POD for you, then you will find out the realities. They may not offer delivery to your new home or destination address. They Will charge you way more than advertised if you need the pod to be stored for any amount of time. When I called to set up delivery to my new address which is in a big city in north carolina, not out in the country by any means, they told me that they might not be able to deliver my pod and that I may need to rent a truck and drive back to where I moved FROM and unload the pod myself into the truck and drive it to my new home. I know, its unbelievable, but irs true. I beg you, implore you, and beseech you to go to the BBB or anywhere else and find out the truth about this company, their service, and how they treat their customers.

I told them how much space was used when moving by trailer to my residence 4 years ago and they told me an 8x8x16 Pod would be plenty big enought to move again. Even though we were moving fewer items this time, we had to leave a number of furniture items behind. They also listed a company, Pack and Load on their website that turned out to be a disaster. Be sure to read the fine print and get everything from everyone in writing.
