After getting my Jetta out of the body shop, I wanted to replace the center caps on my 17\\\" VW mags. Service department found 4 correct ones, and got them installed on my SEL. $150 later I drove away with a big smile on my face. Thanks for free installation! Lakeland VW highly recommended for all your VW needs!!

Johnathan S 05 June 2023 Lakeland Volkswagen 209 South Lake Parker Ave * Lakeland, FL 33801 Tl;dr: Do NOT purchase from this dealership. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the treatment I received from the management at this dealership. I recently visited the establishment with the intention of purchasing the 2023 Golf R, but the entire experience was marred by the rude, unprofessional, and insulting behavior exhibited by the management team. I have been in a Golf since I was 16, and have purchased a new GTI, and a new 2016 Golf R. The 2023 was to be my final vehicle purchase ever as it hit every benchmark that I have for this line of vehicle. I arrived at the dealership with a pre-approved financing offer from my bank, demonstrating my seriousness and financial capability to make a purchase. When addressing the first pencil, the dealership wanted 11,000 over MSRP. Additionally, the dealership had put my vehicle in as a trade-in, against my direct instruction that I had not decided what I wanted to do with my current vehicle. I countered to 3000 over MSRP and asked to have them remove the trade-in at this point; with the intention of fully determining the OTD price. As a note, I allowed the sales rep to run my VIN to speed the process along in the event that I got an OTD price I was comfortable with. At that time, I would be open to negotiate a potential trade. I had also established a backup for someone to come and transport my second vehicle back home. Additionally, I had already received a cash offer from Carvana to sell my car to them if I chose to. The sales rep took my counter offer to the Sales Manager; and audibly from the office I heard him dismiss the counter and made it clear he was not going to attempt any negotiation. However, despite this, the manager came into the sales office and began to question my mentality on the offer. When I reiterated my concerns with the initial offer, he made it clear he was unwilling to negotiate the terms of the vehicle deal any further. Stating, "This is what everyone is going to pay for this vehicle. There is no negotiation." It is disheartening to encounter such inflexibility, especially when I had legitimate concerns and reasonable expectations for the transaction. Before even fully hearing my intentions the manager was already throwing out my paperwork for the vehicle. Toward the end of the "questions" the manager made the statement that "Not everyone can afford a vehicle like this." I was and still am pre-approved for 2000 more than the initial offer the dealership presented. When I told him this, he stated, "Well then you should just buy it." I found the attitude of the management team to be highly disrespectful. Instead of listening to and understanding my position, they resorted to insults and dismissive behavior. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the dealership. Additionally, when I was contacted by the General Manager of the store. Rather than addressing the concerns I had raised, he was argumentative and immediately "rubber stamped" his sales manager without giving any consideration to my side of the situation. To my disbelief, he engaged in a shouting match over the phone, disregarding any attempt at a constructive conversation. This type of behavior from a high-level manager is utterly unacceptable and exacerbates the negative experience I had at this dealership. It is not only unprofessional but also demonstrates a lack of respect for customers and a failure to uphold the values of fair and transparent business practices.

Anthony was super pleasant. He was honest with me about expectations. I felt as though I wasn't being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We worked with Ashley Broyles & it was one of the most enjoyable car purchases I've ever had. After coming back from the bank with the Cashier's Check for the vehicle Ashley & Anthony had all paperwork printed & ready for signatures - had us out in less than 45min. Highly recommend the team at Lakeland VW & we look forward to buying another vehicle from them.

Drove the Atlas. We liked it but ultimately decided on a different vehicle. The sales rep was great and very knowledgeable.

Never again.. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt, but it always takes entirely to long and the prices compared to most are ridiculous.

I never leave reviews but had to this time. Absolutely the easiest and quickest car buying experience! After my initial visit to the showroom it literally took less than 30 minutes to sign the paperwork and walk out the door with my new car. I absolutely love my new car and I can't say enough about how simple the entire experience was. I worked with Ashley Broyles. I highly recommend her.

I brought my 2011 Tiguan in for an oil change and tire rotation. I signed an estimate for $103 for the repairs. After waiting 1 hour, the Service Writer Tony McCalla brought out an oil drain plug that was completely stripped of threads. Tony stated that they did not strip the threads and that I would have to pay for the replacement of the oil pan. Tony gave me a verbal estimate of $670 but did not provide an itemized estimate nor did I sign one. I disagreed with Tony and said that the drain plug must have been stripped by the technician working on my vehicle. An impact gun had been obviously used on the drain plug (I was an ASE Technician for 35years). I stated that I should not have to pay for the replacement of the oil pan. Tony refused to negotiate and said that if I did not get the repairs done, they would push my vehicle out and I would need to have it towed. I told tony that this was the only automobile I had. Tony said that they would have to order the oil pan and would not be in till the next day. I told Tony verbally to perform the repair. Tony finally agreed to provide a loaner. The next day tony called me and said the repair was done but the total was going to be $834. I checked Lakeland VW online parts. The oil pan MSRP was $215. The All data Labor Guide was 1.2 hrs to replace it. They were charging 1.9 hrs at $139/hr and charging me $238 for the oil pan plus $100 in other unnecessary parts plus the oil change. Tony again refused to negotiate and left me a voice mail threatening that if I did not return the loaner and pick up the vehicle by 6PM they would charge my credit card for the loaner. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership for any kind of service. On a side note, I they never did rotate the tires. Also, I filed a complaint with the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Don't bother with that either, they don't do anything except contact the dealership with the complaint and the request for satisfying the complaint. If the dealer does not reply back nothing is done other than the complaint is on record with the State of Florida. Check it out the case # is 2112-45634.

Terrible service! Started out by dealing with Shelly Baker who is their supposed "Customer first impression specialist." Nothing special about her at all. She's incapable of telephone calls and pushed me off on Anthony in finance who was even more inept than she was. Tried calling Jared Diveley, the GM twice, even left messages about my dissatisfaction and he never phoned back. I had money in hand ready to purchase and not a single person phoned me back. Welcome to the lazy Florida way of doing business. Reported them to the BBB only to find out they already have a D- rating. Not surprised at all. Actually, even that seems like a high rating for this place.

NO STARS! car would not start after work so had it towed from zephyrhills to dealership in Lakeland.. dealership sad it was a blown cylinder head altho i had no problems prior to this and they had not run it through their diagnostic equipment.. quoted me $6500. for repairs on a 2010 Jetta. not feeling confident that this was accurate, called for a tow to another service facility i had used previously. the tow driver pushed down on the fuse box and the car started, but i still had it towed to the other facility, who put it to their computer. diagnosed with no problems they could find. car has been running ever since with no problems. i am angry that they charged for a diagnostic which probably was not done, and that i might have had to sell this car for parts, when there was nothing wrong except maybe a loose cable. having purchased and leased several cars from this dealership, i am very disappointed and will never do business with them in the future. i feel they are out to get the most bucks they can when a person has little or no option. tried to get the manager of the Service Dept. and repeatedly told that they were not available. finally got through to a service advisor who said he would transfer my call. twice i waited and finally got through. i requested a refund of the diagnostic fee. manager told me the diagnostic had been done and skirted around the issue of the quoted repair cost. Do Not use this facility.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I was immediately greeted by the nicest and friendliness salesperson named Michelle. She was so knowledgeable and listened to me, the consumer. No high pressure sales tactics. Just the best value for my trade in and my new vehicle. The entire staff were very inviting and respectful. I have never had a better car buying experience in my life. That's saying a lot, since that was my 33rd vehicle purchased by me! If you want a pleasant experience please visit Michelle at Volkswagen of Lakeland!

I want to start by saying this is the BEST car buying experience we've ever had. I am thoroughly impressed with my experience at Lakeland Volkswagen. We have been in the search for an Atlas for months. We live in Miami and the prices were outrageous. We were driving to go see a car that didn't have all the features we wanted but we were going to settle. Originally I didn't want to check a Volkswagen store because I thought it would be too expensive. As we were driving, I came across our current vehicle and we stopped to see it. It had ALL the features including my sun roof, clean title, and the SEL premium package. Great condition. The vehicle stayed local. THEN we met Trey. He was the nicest salesman we've ever experienced. The car was priced higher than we felt comfortable paying. He wasn't pushy. He was understanding and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable about our decision. After negotiating, we agreed on a price and got our dream car. From the time we arrived, to seeing the car, test driving, negotiating, going to the bank, and getting paperwork, we were out the door in 2 hours. Paperwork was finished in less than 30 minutes. Honestly, we will drive from Miami to Lakeland again to purchase with Trey and upgrade our vehicle when the time is right. Thank you Trey and thank you Lakeland Volkswagen.
