I had called in advance because I had bought a ring from my aunt from them for someone for Christmas …I think it was a Carmen I spoke to on the phone and she was nice …then I go in person for a older lady maybe in her 40s with glasses gives me a certain look up and down and says sorry idk who that was but we not doing that because people sell our merchandise….mind you I was willing to pay and the girl on the phone said leave a donation no need to pay…but either way I was given no option …she seemed racist and I just wanted to get out of there because I was really upset I drove 30 mins from my house to there….will never shop from them again

Paula was absolutely phenomenal! I had been shopping around at multiple jewelers and she was the most informative by far. Not to mention she was so patient and helped guide me to my decision. She took extra time and effort to make sure she could capture everything I was looking for. I ended up having a custom ring made thanks to her help and time! I'm very happy with my purchase, but the customer service upon pickup was terrible. She didn't even let me look at or try on the rings. And she asked me if I wanted a box. I thought the box was automatically provided. I was expecting better customer service.

Over the weekend I made an impulse purchase of a large gold rope chain to display a shipwreck coin pendant I recently acquired. The 3.8 mm 24 inch solid gold rope chain looked stunning and was the perfect size for the intended shipwreck coin pendant. Renee was an absolutely pleasure to deal with. She even cleaned the jewelry I was wearing and even repaired an issue on one of my wife's rings. The next day, I thought maybe I had paid too much for the piece because of some research I saw on the internet. This morning I took the necklace to my local jeweler and she was surprised I got it for the price I did. Them selling a similar chain but smaller at 3.5mm would have cost more than I paid for my chain at Kay Jewelers. So when you see things online that you are paying too much at big national jewelers, it may not be the case. I love my new necklace and feel very confident in my purchase.

I came to get my rings cleaned and inspected for the 6 month inspection that’s required to keep the warranty plan active. Well they can’t “find” one of the rings I purchased, on my or my husband’s account. The last time I brought it in for inspection, I guess they couldn’t find it on my account so they just took a picture of it & added it on my profile (which I wasn’t told about then) Well I was told yesterday I need to bring in the receipt (I purchased it in 2019, I don’t have it anymore) so they could add it to my account. She even said when they switched systems some items weren’t transferred over & also sometimes when it’s busy in the store people don’t do things the right way & update the accounts like they’re supposed to. If I ever need it repaired in the future I’d have to pay out of pocket now bc they can’t locate it on my account. That’s crazy, how is a ring I purchased, also with my kay jewelers credit card not found on my account! She also told me they need the item number bc they don’t make it anymore, I asked so it’s not on your website either, she said no. I come home and find it on their website later. She was trying to say anything to get me out of the store. We’ve spent $10k-$15k since we’ve been cardholders since 2017, so really disappointed and won’t buy from Kay’s again.
