Customer service is okay. It’s so disorganized in the store . And the display wigs wasn’t presentable at all. I couldn’t even shop.

Walked in at 930 am and they were legitimately smoking in there. The place reeked of smoke. Prices are as high as Sally Beauty. Won’t come here again

I’m a disabled veteran and asked if they had any military discounts and was told no and not to even ask about it bc they don’t give discounts.The younger guy behind the counter yelled to the other person working in the store to get the owner to verify they don’t give military discounts.The owner apologized for his younger employees wording but did verify that they don’t give military discounts.Even if you don’t give the discount you can not discourage a veteran from asking if there is a discount. Shame on this store for not teaching how important it is to honor veterans with or without a discount being given. I will not be returning to this store because of the rudeness of the young man I encountered.

I will only go there from now on if I need something I can't wait for Amazon to deliver. While they have a large selection of products, the customer service has gone down and prices went up. I will not continue to spend my money in a store where the cashier seems too put out to speak, I am made to feel like an interruption of her personal call, and the physically disabled spot is half taken by an employee.

Polite staff. Helps with finding items or free to browse. Large selection of everything. I try lots of new styles from youtube and take care of texlaxed hair. They have everything you could look for to braid, style, relax or maintain all types of hair. They sell some clothing, incense and other things too.Update:I have to come back and downgrade my review 5 years later based on observations at Kathleen’s. I am stating my facts and my experience.I have been purchasing the texture manageability system to temporarily straighten my natural hair since 2013. In the last year (2022) when I purchased it from Kathleen’s beauty supply, step 2 (the straightening formula) seemed very light in the bottle (less than half). I saw this among several boxes I purchased and had to start buying two boxes at a time to get s complete application.I also noticed an excessive amount of hot glue used to seal the boxes.I thought this was a manufacturer’s thing—a ploy to make more sales.Kathleen’s beauty supply store has been out of stock a few times so I decided to pre order the texture manageability system on Amazon to have on hand to straighten for the holidays.The packages that arrived from Amazon had completely full bottles of step 2. I only needed one box to straighten my waist length hair. I have been using this product for nearly a decade and with shorter natural hair, 1 box of the system lasted me two straightenings.But my hair reached bra strap length and now at waist length, I need the full bottle of step 2 to straighten. That’s when it really began bothering me that I have to buy two boxes at Kathleen’s but only one box from Amazon in order to do one straightening.Simply stating my facts here.

One of the people that work in the store is very rude. Only acknowledge certain customers, saw me walk up to ask a question and turned his head the other way. They didn’t have what I was looking for, the only reason I purchased is because I didn’t have time to go elsewhere. I will NOT be coming back, there are way too many hair stores around here plus Amazon to be treated as a nuisance when spending your hard earned money or not acknowledged at all. Also, he talks about the customers behind their back. He was complaining about a customer that always gets the same hairstyle and he has to buy extra packs for her and has done so for 5 years. Instead of complaining about that maybe be GRATEFUL that you have a loyal customer. I will be finding a black owned hair store that doesn’t have racist vibes. These businesses we patronize and are the main customer for need to start treating black women with respect or take our money elsewhere, smh.

Terrible customer service, who ever the male and female Arabs is they don't speak or ask if you need help. Found some good hair but will not be going back there with their bad attitudes!!
